Apparently the plot line was about finding “right wing extremists” who are going around shooting people with sniper rifles. FBI has been looking for the elusive “right wing” terrorist for 50 years and they keep finding islamic extremists and leftists.
For years they churned out divisive propaganda; slandering good people with impunity. Now that there are finally consequences, they have to pause everything in the pipeline to see if they can salvage it.
That's how it goes.

I love me some spy thriller TV, one person against an evil organization theme - You know, Jack Reacher, Jack Bauer (hmm, making if her name was Jackie???)-Anyway, this trailer gave me no "can't wait for syndication so I can binge watch it" vibes.
It isn't unusual for TV shows to pull episodes due to real world events. I recall an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was delayed because of Columbine.
