The appeal of jeans was their strength and durability. They weren't going to tear apart on you. They were held together by metal rivets. Now a lot of the advertising concentrates on softness and comfort. For a lot of people, will Sydney Sweeney's "great jeans" just rip when they try to squeeze into them?

I’ve heard “chicken legs” for people (not just women) with extremely skinny lower legs but normal to thicker thighs.
