I'm interested in that rhetorical device: "We’re not at war with Iran. We’re at war with Iran’s nuclear program."
I believe it's called paradiastole — or redescription. Other examples:
George W. Bush, 2003: "We’re not occupying Iraq. We’re liberating it."
Barack Obama, 2013: "This is not a war on terror. It’s a campaign against specific networks like al-Qaeda."
Bill Clinton, 1999: "This is not a war. It’s a humanitarian intervention."
Benjamin Netanyahu, 2014: "We’re not fighting the Palestinian people. We’re fighting Hamas.”
Ronald Reagan, 1980s: "We’re not waging war against Nicaragua. We’re supporting freedom fighters."

The meaning behind your gleefully related NYT piece is that Trump may have been too timid. He may have waited too long.
June 20, 2025, Gabbard shifted her public stance, posting on X that “America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the assembly.” (Grok)

Yes, why was she forced to lie after testifying to the truth?Trump didn’t like her and the IC’s original assessment?
I've become sooooo tired of the "Iran isn't building a bomb" stupidity. Listen to Marco Rubio
Inga, there's more a nuance between claiming Iran was not "building" nukes and Iran "trying to get the uranium and technology that would *allow it* to build nukes.
If Iran was actually building nukes, where are they and why haven't they been used?
I've said before, my main concern is that Iran would pack enriched U-235 and U-238 into warheads and explode them over Israel, making the land uninhabitable for generations.
Not nuclear explostions, just widespread dissemination of radioactive materials and ordinary uranium that could cause heavy metal poisoning.
(Of course it bears reminding that WE used depleted Uranium in tank artillery shells in Iraq , despite its lingering toxicity. Ukraine has got a bunch of such shells, but it seems newer titanium rounds are just as effective.)
Inga lies again. Repeating the Gabbard Fake News just like the Hunter laptop is Russian disinformation and that Trump was peeing golden showers with a Russian whore and therefore is in bed with the Russkies. This womyn is vile, stupid, and -- now, back to being ignored.
I-nag asserts without evidence:
"why was she forced to lie after testifying to the truth?"
Forced to lie? She was more than likely included in top secret intelligence, that which she was previously not privy.
So Inga - you know for a fact Iran was not on the cusp of completing Nuclear bomb capability. We're you in on the meetings? fly on wall? gnat on the fan blades?
Inga is reveling in the fact that Trump may have been too late to destroy Iran's stockpile of weapons grade uranium. Interpret that as you will.
too late? Fine- why didn't Crook Joe - Obama's pro Islamic theocracy puppet do it? oh - right.
Iran has a stockpile of weapons grade uranium that they spent years, and billions of dollars, to manufacture. But they're not building a bomb. Nope.
This womyn is vile, stupid, and -- now, back to being ignored.
You'd have a more intelligent conversation with a chimp. A drunk chimp.
It’s called “spin”, AKA “bullshit”

"Personally, I hope Pakistan, China or Russia just GIVES iran a few tons of enriched uranium. Then we could stop all this nonsense. Iran with a bomb isn't going to "blow up the world!!!". They aren't going to commit national suicide anymore than Israel would.
Given that iran is part of uranium, don't they deserve it? Uranium? NO, Iranium"
No. Of course not. That would be stupid. They will control the Middle East and by extension muslim countries all over the world. It would also cause other ME countries, that could afford it, to acquire their own atomic weapons.
Islam is a shit religion. Like mormonism. The rest of us don't want a caliphate because it's a stupid idea.

You're not going to see much on the surface. These things penetrate deeper than your sisters boyfriends nine inch dick. That's because they are going mach methhead and go about 200 feet in before they go BOOM! So what you see on the surface is earth disturbed upon entry.
"..it makes my point that Trump should’ve listened to Tulsi Gabbard the first time when she said Iran was not building nukes, before she was forced to change the info she received from the IC."
Obviously Tulsi said that in order to lull Iran into thinking they were in no danger of destruction. Pretty simple .

“Why does this make you feel good?”
Feel good? No, it makes my point that Trump should’ve listened to Tulsi Gabbard the first time when she said Iran was not building nukes, before she was forced to change the info she received from the IC.
This just highlights the point that Inga is a soulless dishonest piece of shit and she is an enemy of this country.
Tulsi Gabbard never said what Inga said she did. Gabbard made that clear. But Inga's entire world view is based on lies.
Inga gushed and praised Clinton when she said "We came. We Saw. He died."
Obama bombed Libya for 6 months by the way and the only reason we did that is because Libya wouldn't give France and Europe cheap oil anymore.
Also Libya had just made a deal with the US to give up their nuclear program. Taking out Gaddafi like Obama did made sure no country in the world could ever trust us again.
Compare and contrast to Inga today. She doesn't believe a single word she says. Every one of her posts is based on something she knows is a lie.
Just a terrible person in general.

Epstein committed suicide and we are at war with Iran. The Deep State strikes back.
We have been at war since 1979.
Again Trump is just ending a war that the Uniparty started.
Natural uranium (principally U-238—halflife 4.5 billion years) and even highly enriched uranium (mostly U-235—halflife 700 Myr) due to their ages-long halflives are completely unsuitable as the radioactive “stock” for dirty bomb(s). Moreover, the type of radioactivity (“alpha” rays—i.e., helium nuclei) exhibited in both varieties of uranium is so non-penetrating that it's 100% halted by (e.g.) a sheet of paper. Nor is (natural) uranium at all rare; an average of 10 grams (1/3 ounce) out of every cubic meter (yard) of ordinary dirt worldwide is uranium.
All a non-nuclear “dirty bomb” spreading uranium (of either type) around an area would accomplish is add a bit to the uranium already ubiquitous in the environment. Any time (e.g.) dust is blowing off a vacant lot or fallow field, for example, you're breathing in uranium. Moreover, in some parts of the world the local water supply carries quite a bit of uranium in it. Studies show that health effects from such long-lasting uranium dosages in the environment are nil.
For example, from a RAND Report: {quoting…}
Although any increase in radiation to the human body can be calculated to be harmful from extrapolation from higher levels, there are no peer-reviewed published reports of detectable increases of cancer or other negative health effects from radiation exposure to inhaled or ingested natural uranium at levels far exceeding those likely in the Gulf.
This is mainly because the body is very effective at eliminating ingested and inhaled natural uranium and because the low radioactivity per unit mass of natural and depleted uranium means that the mass of uranium needed for significant internal exposure is virtually impossible to obtain. Large variations in exposure to natural uranium in the normal environment have not been associated with negative health effects.
{/unQuote}
Emphasis added. Note that the body's ability to quickly clear out uranium would also apply to “heavy metal” poisoning as well as to any possible danger deriving from uranium's (minimal) radioactivity.
