Perfect set up with the Duterte,, Putin , Assad style of police states governing ,so trump can call either Martial Law or Insurrection and cancel Mid terms( I have said this awhile ago. "The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked a bus full of aid workers with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) on Wednesday, killing at least five local Palestinians who worked with the group."
Meanwhile, in the background, the russia-ukraine war continues. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You'll never get peace with Zelenskyyyyy in charge of the Ukraine. And given the stupidity and weakness of the Ukrainian military elite, he'll have to taken out by Russian tanks rumbling into the outskirts of Kiev.
Never put a man with 3 passports in charge of your Government, let alone make him a dictator. You'd think given the relationship of Jews and the Ukraine during the USSR in the 1930s, they'd be a little uh...skeptical... of giving a Jew allied to the Neo-cons, unlimited power, but I guess that's how Ukrainians roll.
Donald Trump says US-China deal ‘done’ as two sides restore trade war truce ~ FT
Arsonist puts out fire; claims to be hero.
"White House officials indicated Trump could ease restrictions on selling chips to China if Beijing agreed to speed up the export of rare earths."
So China gets the chips they’ve wanted.
And the US is back to where we were in the first place.
The notable aspect of this "deal" is that it merely restores the pre-Liberation-Day status quo, with the addition of a 10% tariff imposed by both sides, which is detrimental. Consequently, all the rhetoric about "isolating China" proved to be empty talk.
This gets to the larger problem with Trump’s tariff strategy—that is, he doesn’t have one. His latest walk-back shows he can’t bully China as he tried to do in his first term. China has leverage of its own.
BTW, the "Giants of Rock and Roll" are getting up there in years. And over the next 5 years expect more of them to go. Even Elton John is 78! And so is Don Henley. And John Fogerty is 80.

I asked Grok for an estimate of the costs involved with the DC protest when Trump was inaugurated in 2016. Grok responded by saying precise figures were not available. I followed up with the comment that I wasn't looking for a precise figure ("widespread" election fraud, anyone?), just an estimate. Grok once again responded that the costs were difficult to figure and declined to offer any estimates.
Next, I asked Grok for an estimate of the costs involved with the DC J6 protest. Grok responded with figures from five different sources.
"Next, I asked Grok for an estimate of the costs involved with the DC J6 protest. Grok responded with figures from five different sources.
FWIW... "
Your next question to Grok should be precisely that: "Given your inexplicable inability to estimate costs depending on the political party, what is your estimate of the value of your estimates? Do you claim to be non-partisan?
An invasive species of stinging ant is spreading across the United States with detections in at least 20 states.
Brachyponera chinensis, or the Asian needle ant, have been found mostly in the northeastern and southeastern U.S., but have also been detected in Wisconsin, Texas and Washington state, according to the ant detection site antmaps.org. …
Asian needle ants can sting when bothered, which can lead to symptoms such as skin reactions including hives and itching; low blood pressure; swollen tongue or throat; nausea, vomiting or diarrhea; dizziness or fainting; weak or rapid pulse; and wheezing or difficulty breathing, the USFS said.
More severe symptoms can include anaphylaxis -- a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction -- or psychological reactions, such as a =feeling of impending doom, according to the agency. [My emphasis]
So, Althouse and Meade, if you see Asian needle ants, don ‘t bother them!
On a long and winding road (that actually started as research for a novel), I've been watching the old British show Cracker, about a criminal profiler, with Robbie Coltrane of Hagrid fame. Some thoughts:
1. Britain in the early '90s reminds me of the way I remember the '80s, which is weird because I actually lived in Suffolk in the mid-80s. Anyway, terrible hair, terrible clothes, terrible teeth, terrible makeup, everything is bleak, no one has a job.
2. Robbie Coltrane has unbelievable range - I had no idea!
3. One of the plot lines (each story arc takes about three episodes, it seems) is remarkably prescient: the perp is a working class white guy (socialist, because all working class Brits were socialist back then), and his reason for turning to murder, triggered by the long and traumatic cancer death of his father, is that he's not "queer," he's not black, he's not a woman - no one gives a s*** about people like him, no one offers them any help or support. And, he recognizes that people need something to believe in, a church of some kind - his is the Liverpool FC, because football is the only thing anyone has left. And he sees that the powers that be treat him and his fellows like dirt, and up go the cages, and then Hillsborough* happens and 96 people die.
The show was written in 1994 or so.
< A href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsborough_disaster">Here's Wikipedia on the Hillsborough disaster.
Read an article where our fascist governor is concerned that Trump might use the Washington National Guard to stop rioting. So I wonder if Blue city pols won’t be telling local cops to squelch any “protesting” this weekend, lest they give Trump reason to step in and be the adult. It isn’t 4D chess, but it looks like it when you’re playing with morons.
Robbie Coltrane as Cracker is one of the greatest television dramas of all time (what could be better?). Absolutely the best crime drama I have ever watched. And, of course, if you spent time in the UK/IRL back in the 1980's it really calls up a certain mood. When you watch a dramatic show from the UK and then see its American remake, it really makes you wonder. Both Cracker and House Of Cards were UK serious before being remade for American audiences. I'm a big fan of Kevin Spacey, but his version of House Of Cards was only tolerable, the UK version was delightful.
Poor Kak. Oil is up to nearly $68 with US oil production rising slightly and an additional 1.2 million barrels of oil added to the SPR. Tesla up 100 points since April and 30 points after the weekend feud. Inflation only went up 0.1%. And now China tariffs will remain in place with Xi agreeing to them. I don't think even Jim Cramer is as prolific in calling things completely backwards as Kak.
i watched a few more episodes and then gave the DVD's to the local library. Whoever produced/wrote it seems to have no knowledge of England in 1940-45. Maybe it did well with the "New britons" and in the USA.
"It's pretty hilarious that the Left is no longer arguing that California belongs to the "indigenous" tribes that lived there hundreds of years ago. Now they say it's the rightful property of Mexico because it was claimed by the Spanish empire. I guess we all believe in the right of conquest now. No more land acknowledgments. That's progress." - Matt Walsh
@oldandslow, I just confirmed via IMDB - not Ewan MacGregor but Robert Carlyle, the guy from The Full Monty (which now I want to rewatch - I will never finish this third novel at this rate).
Here's one weird instance where the protesters and the police didn't "Clash" per the MSM:
"Hundreds of masked rioters attacked police and set homes and cars on fire in the Northern Irish town of Ballymena on Tuesday, in the second successive night of disorder that followed a protest over an alleged sexual assault in the town"
Very odd reporting. Story is all about people condemning the rioters. And police condemning the rioters. And all about how violent and "extreme" it all was.
I can't understand it. Nothing about how the rioters had grivences. Or were "Mostly peaceful". Or the police "overeacted". Wonder what it was all about? Hard to tell from the reporting.
Booke was also a gifted linguist, fluent in multiple languages, including Russian, Japanese, French, Spanish, and Italian. His language skills would later play a critical role in his military service,
While Booke’s career in Hollywood is well-documented, his military service remains shrouded in mystery. During the Korean War, he served as a military intelligence officer for the U.S. Army. Some reports suggest that he was involved in highly sensitive operations, including espionage and psychological warfare. Given his fluency in multiple languages, it is believed that he worked in counterintelligence, monitoring enemy communications and possibly interrogating prisoners of war.
Due to the classified nature of his service, many details remain undisclosed to the public. However, those who knew him personally acknowledged his deep sense of duty and the seriousness with which he viewed his time in the military. Unlike the bumbling Boss Hogg, Booke was a man of immense intelligence, strategy, and patriotism.
We’ll see if this makes David Hogg start to rethink. There’s been a lot of reassessments made recently by Democrats. The biggest surprise for me has been RFKJr. I expected him to have divided loyalties. But Democrats treated him so badly, they burned all those beautiful bridges that could have led to RFKJr undermining some of Trump’s goals. I guess I should say the biggest surprise for me is how strongly former Democrats support Trump. David, come on over. We value ability over superficial differences.
"I don't think even Jim Cramer is as prolific in calling things completely backwards as Kak."
A month ago when things also hadn't collapsed Mr. 'In The Room' proclaimed that we had to wait until the end of summer to properly assess the effects of Trump's policies. Shockingly sensible coming from him. But did he shut up until the end of summer? Noooo, he's still running off at the mouth every day.
The thing about predicting doom is that, eventually, you're going to be right. It takes no skill. It takes no knowledge. It takes no intelligence. Just keep predicting that something bad is going to happen. It eventually will.
I dunno, I used a lower case 'a' for both open and close, and didn't add any spaces anywhere except between 'a' and "href." And of course in the text you want to display.
If the rioters in Ireland are the irate citizens wanting to get rid of illegal aliens, and the rioters in US cities are illegal aliens wanting to protest being deported, then it seems to me that we could avoid a lot of grief by just exchanging rioters.
The "Jew problem" in Ukraine was that they were pro-Communist and anti-nationalist. And indeed Zelensky was seen as a "Russian" candidate in 2019, which is why he swept the Russian speaking East. The real ethnic Ukrainian nationalist was the westerner Poroschenko. In any case blaming Zelensky is stupid. I gather that in re the war he reflects the POV of the Ukrainian masses, and no wartime leader is going to contradict them. The Ukrainians desire independence from Russia and they should have it. Anyone who opposes their legitimate aspirations is working for the guy with the horns and tail.
“His rabid stance on the Second Amendment isn't superficial. It's a deal-breaker.” David Horowitz was a rabid commie until he rethought his positions. Then he became a stronger conservative than many conservatives. There’s a lot of virtue signaling in young people’s support of Democrat positions. Once you see one position doesn’t make sense (invalidating an election because of David’s genetic make up) you start questioning other positions. Well, some people do. I’m hoping David Hogg is one of those.
In a nation of immigrants, Americans fly flags from other countries for cultural celebrations or holidays, like Irish Americans on St. Patrick’s Day or Italian Americans on Columbus Day. But in California, where Latinos are a plurality and Mexican Americans are the largest group among them, Mexican flags are flown throughout the year as a matter of cultural pride.
I agree with Eva Marie. I think it's highly likely David Hogg will be voting Republican in 2040. Highly, highly likely.
He was fired because of his skin color and his genitalia. It's actually an illegal firing, and he could sue them and win a lot of money. He's probably not going to sue them. He's a kid, a naive kid. But he definitely has a cause of action.
He was pushed out by corrupt Democrats who did not want any sort of primary challenge. People in power, in both parties, do gerrymanders precisely so they can stay in power.
I've always despised the gerrymander. And I definitely despise Democrats who try to destroy the primary system so that incumbents stay in power and have no challenges. (See Joe Biden and the Democrat non-primary of 2024). I think this will be a very big wake up call to David Hogg personally. Might take a decade or two for the woke kid to wake up.
The term "woke" is a religious term, referring to the process of waking up from your sins and realizing what you've done wrong. Famous examples include a man named Saul, who arrested and killed Jews for talking about Jesus, until he had an epiphany on the road to Damascus. Another example was the slave-trader, John Newton, who later wrote the song "Amazing Grace."
I think both men had a divine intervention. Saul's was obvious and immediate. It took Newton, living in a more secular time, a couple of decades to see the hand of God in his life.
The Ukrainians desire independence from Russia and they should have it. Anyone who opposes their legitimate aspirations is working for the guy with the horns and tail.
I don't know what intel Tulsi Gabbard has seen. She might just be having an emotional reaction to her visit to Hiroshima. It may be she wants to scare Putin and/or Zelensky and/or NATO.
Trump is probably not a micro-manager. She may or may not have asked him before she did it. Maybe she's pushing Trump a little. Anyway, she's warning us about nuclear holocaust. So I hope Putin and/or Zelensky and/or NATO are all paying attention. And I hope the people of those countries (and other countries) are also paying attention.
I ask everybody who prays to pray to God to avoid nuclear war. Divine intervention is a thing, and sometimes we need it.
It was supposed to be a routine appearance, a visit from the commander in chief to rally the troops, boost morale, and celebrate the Army's 250th-birthday week, which culminates with a Washington, D.C., parade slated for Saturday.
Instead, what unfolded Tuesday at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, bore little resemblance to the customary visit from a president and defense secretary. There, President Donald Trump unleashed a speech laced with partisan invective, goading jeers from a crowd of soldiers positioned behind his podium -- blurring the long-standing and sacrosanct line between the military and partisan politics.
As Trump viciously attacked his perceived political foes, he whipped up boos from the gathered troops directed at California leaders, including Gov. Gavin Newsom -- amid the president's controversial move to deploy the National Guard and Marines against protesters in Los Angeles -- as well as former President Joe Biden and the press. The soldiers roared with laughter and applauded Trump's diatribe in a shocking and rare public display of troops taking part in naked political partisanship.
Internal 82nd Airborne Division communications reviewed by Military.com reveal a tightly orchestrated effort to curate the optics of Trump's recent visit, including the handpicking of soldiers for the audience based on their political leanings and physical appearance. The troops ultimately selected to be behind Trump and visible to the cameras were almost exclusively male. One unit-level message bluntly said, "no fat soldiers."
It's amazing that the Supreme Court writes shit like "one person, one vote" (Reynolds v. Sims) while they look the other way when it's a gerrymander.
They want to give the appearance of democracy and equality ("one person, one vote"), while the districts are drawn to keep incumbents in power.
That's the sort of thing the Supreme Court should stop! We've got a "republican form of government" clause. Use that damn thing, and stop the gerrymander. Thank you.
The soldiers roared with laughter and applauded Trump's diatribe in a shocking and rare public display of troops taking part in naked political partisanship.
Fly In a Cow's Ass! (FICA)
Have you forgotten that General Milley communicated with a nuclear power and told them not to worry about our commander-in-chief?
He was so partisan, Biden -- or the autopen masquerading as Biden -- felt the need to pardon his ass to avoid a treason charge.
Do you think Trump is going to have to pardon all these soldiers for cheering?

I'll stop there because it's useless to go on.
Are you really that stupid? Or do you think we are?
I', m so glad they have Progressive mouthpiece from MSDNC (Michael Steele) to help them get their message out to the left...
"Instead of accepting that their RINO time in the D.C. spotlight is over, a bunch of Never Trumpers got together and started an organization called Our Republican Legacy.
They do not accept that the MAGA populist movement is here to stay. Among Our Republican Legacy (ORL) founders and leaders are:
Former House Speaker John Boehner Former Vice President Mike Pence Former Vice President Dan Quayle Former Republican National Committee Chair and current Independent and current MSNBC host Michael Steele Former Missouri Senator John Danforth Former Maine Senator William Cohen Former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson" https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2025/06/never_trumpers_are_back_with_a_new_name.html
"Per New Jersey law, Cranbury must build 265 affordable housing units over the next decade. “We support affordable housing,” Duggan says, “but not dropped in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. The whole thing lacks common sense.”
(Cranbury Township Committee has not revealed what type of affordable housing is slated to replace the Henry farm. The Committee did not respond to Farm Journal interview requests.)"
"The "Jew problem" in Ukraine was that they were pro-Communist and anti-nationalist. "
That explains the enthusiastic participation in rounding up people for the death camps. They disagreed on politics. That explains why they named the highway leading to one death camp after the guy who commanded the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, who directed the march of a lot of unfortunates over that highway.
The reason that people can't understand this stuff is that it is impossible, not almost impossible, but impossible, to be cynical enough. Even narciso, who does quite a bit of peeking behind the curtain still buys some of the Ukrainian propaganda because it has been buried so deeply into our culture.
Ukraine had a deal for independence, within a couple of weeks of the start of the war, and turned it down, because Biden and Boris Johnson preferred to condemn Ukrainians to the meat grinder, than give up the war they worked so hard to gin up.
It came out a couple of years ago, but it has been repeated again, by the man who was in the meeting with Blinken, that when Russia had its troops massed on the border, they met with the US and said that there was no reason for a war if the US would simply agree to leave Ukraine neutral, which was the deal when Ukraine was split off from the USSR. Blinken told Russia, not only no, but that the US was going station short and medium range missiles there, five minutes flight time from Moscow, poised for a decapitation strike. This forced Putin's hand, which was the intention.
Now you can say that Putin had a choice, but you know what? Europe and the US have a choice too, but we are willing to fight wars all over the world over the remotest distant threats, theoretical threats, but here we now have reports that Biden told Lula that he believed that Russia must be destroyed, the defense minister of Pakistan just admitted that Pakistan had been doing the "dirty work" of the US by providing state protection and support for terrorists like, well, who do we know that had a comfortable headquarters set up in Pakistan? Was it the guy who was funded, armed, and trained by the US, at the admission of Jimmy Carter's security adviser, Brzezinski, in 1979, in order to *provoke* a Soviet invasion of Afghanistan?
but not dropped in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. The whole thing lacks common sense.”
…the only New Jersey asshole that’s never visited Tribeca or SoHo…or maybe xe means only expensive housing dropped in the middle of a bunch of warehouses makes sense…
Oh boy.... Coming attraction this weekend, to a city near you...
"There are THOUSANDS of protests planned for June 14th all over the country to send a message to Donald Trump that no one wants his birthday military parade in DC that will cost taxpayers millions. #NoKingsProtest
…the last time they threw a few billion at one of these days of mostly peaceful riots the maps looked the same- cover it all with big dots so it looks like everyone’s on board everywhere but last time the big city dooshbags took all the money and there was none left for the dots in the burbs or the wilderness..
Well, geez, I've been doing HTML pretty much since it was a thing - the ONLY thing I didn't do was use a lower-case A at the beginning of the opening tag (because it would've been one more thing to go back and correct on a tiny screen), which SHOULD NOT MATTER. (I put spaces between the characters of my closing tag ONLY in my illustration of what was happening, NOT in the actual attempted link.) Here goes:
Regarding Our Republican Legacy: Former House Speaker John Boehner Former Vice President Mike Pence Former Vice President Dan Quayle Former Republican National Committee Chair and current Independent and current MSNBC host Michael Steele Former Missouri Senator John Danforth Former Maine Senator William Cohen Former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson" (Alan Simpson passed away in March.) 6 of these men were vocal supporters of Liz Cheney’s role on the committee investigating Jan 6. Cohen was the only one who remains silent on the committee bu endorsed Biden on 2020. Steele and Cohen both endorsed Kamala Harris. Very disappointing.
@old and slow - as I said, I had to look it up on IMDB; I was perfectly willing to believe that Ewan MacGregor had changed a lot since 1994!
One thing I love about watching British TV is that you see the same actors - big names and not so big - over and over. It's like repertory theater on a huge scale (the size of a small scale). Another Cracker appearance: Jim Carter, whom I'd only known from Downtown Abbey - and his Cracker role was so dramatically different from Carson that I just could not place him.
I thought you were referring to Carlyle's other melodrama COBRA, where he played a prime minister, who is supposed to be like Boris, in some respects,
it's reflective of some of the tropes of early 21st century politics, the first series is about a Carrington event, the second is about a cyber attack, the third is about an catastrophe, involving environmentalist, but rarely is that where it leads,
I don't accept any cant, I realize that the Caucasus conflict is about 400 years old, so Putin is a symptom of the Russian manifest destiny, and Zelensky rightly knows that you don't win in the game if you surrender, see the last two contestants petlura and bandera,
Similarly our relations with pakistan have been pretty twisted since India decided to ally with the Russians against the Chinese, so we accepted tin pot generals like Ayub Khan and later Zia, who pushed for more islamization of the country, the latter allowed Mawdudi the leading Deobandi to indoctrinate much of the army and the security services
Jaq, your sources are, well, unreliable. The US simply doesnt have ground launched missiles it can give to Ukraine that would reach Moscow, or anything of the sort. The DOD has been trying rather desperately to come up with some sort of lash-up it can base in the Northern Philippines, for the last 18 months (meant as antiship, anti airbase, or anti IRBM intended to point at the Chinese, one that was tried out in the Phils is recycled VLS cells from retired Ticonderogas mounted on truck-trailers) with nothing substantial to date. If the US hasn't got them now it certainly didnt have them in 2021-22. I think you have been fooled either by Russian disinfo or the flights of fantasy that are always being churned out in that particular fever swamp.
The Army's Precision Strike Missile has a range of over 300mi which is enough to get it from Ukraine's border to Moscow. That said, it was only in the test phase in 2019 and entered initial operations in 2023 in the US Army. So "US simply doesn't have ground launched missiles it can give to Ukraine" is still correct IMO, particularly in 2021-22, but we wouldn't be sending our premier weapon systems into someone else's regional conflict. On the VLS side, a SM-6 reportedly can go out to 500km in ground attack mode, but I don't think they would be sent to Ukraine either.
I have pointed out at least 3 or 4 times before, to devastating silence from 'jag', that if Ukraine is 5 minutes flight time from Moscow, Latvia is only 5 1/2, and is already part of NATO. (It's also much closer to Putin's home town, St. Petersburg: a minute or two.) Apparently, he can't be bothered to look at a map and see that I'm obviously right.
Therefore, if the US were planning a first strike on Moscow, there would be no need to do it from Ukraine. Of course, the US is not in fact planning a first strike on any part of Russia. It's Russian TV that is constantly threatening a nuclear first strike on NATO. At least one of their propagandists (Solovyov) seems to think Russia has enough nukes to literally sink the entire island of Britain under the sea: he's said so more than once. His two draft-age sons live in London, and one of them is a very effeminate long-haired 'model', so maybe he's expressing some all-in-the-family homophobia with his nuclear threats.
jaq's talk about a first strike by the US is pure Russian propaganda, and an obvious case of psychological projection.
• It's way to soon to see the tariff inflation. In Trump's first term, the (more limited) tariffs took 12-24 months to fully feed through to inflation. It's only been two months since any of the tariffs came into play (I know it seems much longer)
• Apart from the sector specific tariffs, we're only at 10% at the moment. Despite TACO, the majority of the reciprocal tariffs will resume in July.
• Trump has finally woken up to the fact that you can't hold 150 sets of trade talks and has said you're going to have to "take it or leave it" https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-unilateral-take-it-or-leave-it-tariffs-coming-soon-2025-6
• Sector specific inflation is going to be very distorted going forward. Many large US retailers have indicated that they will spread the impact of tariffs across all goods — even to the point of increasing prices in non-US markets to pay for the tariffs. (https://www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/global-retailers-tariff-strategy-risks-spreading-pain-beyond-us-consumer-2025-05-20/)
• Despite the optimism in the market, the only thing that has changed is that we are unlikely to see 100+% tariffs on China. However in order to pay for the "big beautiful bill" (I wretch every time I have to call it that) he needs at least $300bn/year - meaning a blended rate of about 15%.
An aside
If you want to understand more about what Trump is really doing, I suggest taking a look at mercantilism. It's pretty much impossible to pull off in the modern world, but he seems to be trying. It's one of the reasons why I diversified my portfolio in January and of course invested strongly into European small cap stocks among also other defensive positions. Focused mainly on European dividend and undervalued companies (+22% YTD) and European banks (+46% YTD). DODFX (+21.72% YTD.
Trump says he may ‘have to force’ interest rate change in attack on Powell~ FT
Trump's persistent public berating of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell as a "numbskull" and his demands for drastic interest rate cuts reveal a fundamental misunderstanding of how monetary policy and government debt work.
Trump’s insistence that the Fed cut rates by a full percentage point to save the US hundreds of billions annually on debt interest ignores that Treasury borrowing costs are driven by market yields, not solely by Fed-set rates. His threats to "force something" on the Fed and hints at replacing Powell based on political dissatisfaction undermine the Fed’s independence, which is crucial for maintaining economic stability and investor confidence. This approach is not only unrealistic but risks destabilizing financial markets by injecting uncertainty about US monetary policy.
Trump doesn't get interest rates. High rates are the Fed withdrawing dollars from the economy (too many dollars) and low rates are the Fed adding dollars to the economy (too few dollars). How many dollars the economy needs to stay fully active without the dollars competitively driving bids for goods up is what the Fed is balancing.
A demand for low interest rates just means add dollars to the economy, which will bid up prices.

That's a lovely government contract for your space rocket company you have there. Shame if anything happened to it.
Funny how the threat of losing billions of dollars in government contracts can change his thinking.
Musk has figured out which side his bread is buttered on.

Meanwhile, in the background, the russia-ukraine war continues. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You'll never get peace with Zelenskyyyyy in charge of the Ukraine.
"Never put a man with 3 passports in charge of your Government"

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Oh wait, I mean nicer Hogg.
Great work Mr. B. Wind power is responsible for killing large numbers of birds. Its an enviormental disaster.
FWIW...
As if Wisconsin didn’t have enough issues:
Trying this ONE MORE TIME:

Mr. Hogg needs a nice dress. or some new plumbing
The great thing about the Dems dumping David Hogg is that their stated reason was "diversity quotas".
Teh Dims were high on the hogg, then they went whole hogg and cut a fa… cut a skinny hogg.
Riley Gaines: "Simone Biles essentially tarnished her reputation"
Simone Biles would very likely feel different if she ever had to compete against a dude.
Now hogg gonna go hogg wild.
Look out, world!
Cracker was a great show. Available on BritBox.
Pipe stem arms… weak chin… the little hogg gonna be bringin’ home the bacon!
"Ultra white male David Hogg has been excommunicated from his duly-elected DNC vice-chairmanship."
Tiny Fists is out, then? What a shame.
Frogman, hogg man
Ha-ha, charade you are
The Liverpool fan you mention in the Cracker episode was played by Ewan McGregor. "L-I-V-E-R-P- double 0 L, Liverpool FC!"
"'The View' co-host says being undocumented is not illegal"
On the bright side, miss information has a home.
I tried to watch some of "Foyle's war". Good grief what a bore. And how silly. Imagine "English nazis" in a small village. LOL!
i watched a few more episodes and then gave the DVD's to the local library. Whoever produced/wrote it seems to have no knowledge of England in 1940-45. Maybe it did well with the "New britons" and in the USA.

Ditto!

The UK version was positively Satanic. Reminded me of The Screwtape Letters.
The USA version was like normal politics. I feel like Hillary Clinton did more shit than Kevin Spacey ever did.

Hard to tell from the reporting.

https://theworldhour.com/sorrell-booke-the-untold-truth-of-boss-hogg-actor-spy-war-hero-and-american-patriot/
David, come on over. We value ability over superficial differences.
Sorry, no. A hard No. His rabid stance on the Second Amendment isn't superficial. It's a deal-breaker.
He can rot with the left. It's where he belongs.

Iman - I think you confused Pink Floyd with George Floyd.
“His rabid stance on the Second Amendment isn't superficial. It's a deal-breaker.”
David Horowitz was a rabid commie until he rethought his positions.
Gilbar at 9:48
wow!
Well, some people do. I’m hoping David Hogg is one of those.
Fair enough.
I know how I'd be betting, but am more than willing to be proven wrong.
Welcome back, Buwaya! We missed you, man.
From Military.com:
It's cute how some people believe military dot com isn't infested with leftwing bias. Because, well the name says MILITARY.
It's seriously totes legitimate.

City Gov to Seize 175-Year-Old Farm by Eminent Domain, Replace with Affordable Housing
Long article, but here's the key quote:
You can't be cynical enough.
I used to believe the crap they told us, I voted for George W Bush twice.
but not dropped in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. The whole thing lacks common sense.”

Let's see if the capital A was the problem.

I thought you were referring to Carlyle's other melodrama COBRA, where he played a prime minister, who is supposed to be like Boris, in some respects,
it's reflective of some of the tropes of early 21st century politics, the first series is about a Carrington event, the second is about a cyber attack, the third is about an catastrophe, involving environmentalist, but rarely is that where it leads,
I don't accept any cant, I realize that the Caucasus conflict is about 400 years old, so Putin is a symptom of the Russian manifest destiny, and Zelensky rightly knows that you don't win in the game if you surrender, see the last two contestants petlura and bandera,
Similarly our relations with pakistan have been pretty twisted since India decided to ally with the Russians against the Chinese, so we accepted tin pot generals like Ayub Khan and
later Zia, who pushed for more islamization of the country,
the latter allowed Mawdudi the leading Deobandi to indoctrinate much of the army and the security services
because of the former factor, and the use of Pakistan as middleman to China, we allowed the rise of AQ Khan and his
franchising of nuclear technology,
Jaq, your sources are, well, unreliable.
First 787 lost in a crash in India. 242 souls onboard. Happened on takeoff with the aircraft only making it about 425ft AGL before losing altitude.
"It came out a couple of years ago, but it has been repeated again, by the man who was in the meeting with Blinken, …"
What man would that be?
Some thoughts on inflation:
• It's way to soon to see the tariff inflation. In Trump's first term, the (more limited) tariffs took 12-24 months to fully feed through to inflation. It's only been two months since any of the tariffs came into play (I know it seems much longer)
• Apart from the sector specific tariffs, we're only at 10% at the moment. Despite TACO, the majority of the reciprocal tariffs will resume in July.
• Trump has finally woken up to the fact that you can't hold 150 sets of trade talks and has said you're going to have to "take it or leave it"
https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-unilateral-take-it-or-leave-it-tariffs-coming-soon-2025-6
• Sector specific inflation is going to be very distorted going forward. Many large US retailers have indicated that they will spread the impact of tariffs across all goods — even to the point of increasing prices in non-US markets to pay for the tariffs.
Some thoughts on inflation:
That's a lot of words for a 0.1% increase. You seem to have no problems at all with inflating things.
Another breast display choice Mass in B MInor in classical music, this time made for the choir in the Korean style - uniformity of breasts.
The Mass in B Minor (letting it run) ends after two hours with thunderous applause, as if everybody wasn't tired of it by that point.
@rhhardin Mass in B Minor in classical music listening now - Good one, thanks !
