I’ve had a chance to read part of Natalie Rupnow’s manifesto — if that’s what it is. Assuming I wasn’t being scammed, I have to say that the parts I saw read like a distillation of every dollop of bullshit ever produced by any man-hating feminist anywhere in academia. If that’s the sort of claptrap that motivated her to shoot six students (one fatally) and two teachers (one fatally) at the Abundant Life Christian School then the feminist “thinkers” in academia have a lot to answer for.

What's going on in NJ? IMHO, a big nothing, despite what I quoted in the thread about it what Trump said - For some reason they don't want to tell the people, and they should, because the people are really — I mean they happen to be over Bedminster... they're very they're very close to Bedminster. I think maybe I won't spend the weekend in Bedminster. I've decided to cancel my trip." He cancelled his trip- and if he's been read in on a reason he should, it's not his prerogative to reveal it. And if he were himself killed/injured n a mass casualty attack- the current administration would be in a world of hurt in January when President Vance is sworn in.

And until Trump is sworn in- that all falls on Democrats. That and NJ is full of Democrat voters. And anything that happens in NJ affects swing state PA and heavy Democrat NY. And both will shift hard right should something happen they weren't warned about.
Kinda reminds me of that ancient Chinese curse- "May you live in interesting times and come to the attention of important people."
Some others here are like me, off on teh sidelines somewhere with friends and relatives who should be in the loop on something major- and none have issued any oblique warnings about avoiding NJ. On dates from A to B. Until some chatter reached me through a source- I'm not concerned.
OTOH- I do expect a terrorist style attack, an organized one, from the several thousand military age Chinese who've illegally entered. From the Sharialand ones, I expect an increasing number of (mostly) ineffective lone wolf attacks.
Neither does Jelly Roll. Times have changed. I don't think Hank done it this way.

We are literally being held hostage with this “CR.” Why was Helene and Milton funding not a stand alone vote? We can vote on post offices as stand alone votes but not disaster relief? 🤦🏻♀️

It is called a c**t cap because if you take it off and look down into it, it's roughly vulva-shaped, tapering at the ends and bowing open in the middle.
Some versions even have folds on top, on the outside, which would increase the vulva effect.

Trudeau stayed this long only becuase the "we are not the USA" sentiment is strong in Canada, and because many Canadians aquired TDS because Trump was next door.
Trudeau would have been ejected after mismanaging COVID and the trucker protest. His speech was boycotted by the EU Parliament in 2022. He said and did exactly what Fidel Castro would have said and done.

No, JD Vance is tagged for 2028. RFK Jr. is likely too eccentric to be a finalist or major contender.
If the Trump Republicans can keep it together, we stand to have a generation of center-right moderates in power. They'll paper over their differences to reform the system and pull back from the Obama/Biden excesses, but not be true conservatives (Trump's views overlap heavily with 1990s white Democrats).
I saw it too and made the same connection to Vance.
New religions fill any moral vacuum.
Up to 50 or 100 years ago, mentally unstable women would have ended up in Catholic convents with rosary beads or in cult-like Protestant compounds. They would have been seen as pious and holy saints and martyrs by those around them. Today, unstable women often congregate in universities and that echo chamber generates untested ideas and ideologies.
In all cases, society set up a "safe space" for the often militant and deluded claptrap to continue. It's time once again for a periodic purge.
Don't get fixated on these obvious public flights. They cause a panic, yes, but hostile parties can cause grave damage in 1,000 different ways. IMO, drones at major outdoor concerts and sporting events are a far greater risk than whatever has been happening in NJ so far. Bio and chemical weapons are very concentrated and easy to disperse with an agricultural drone.
