In the American Revolution II ... should we reserve all of our ammo for only thieving health insurance executives (as the Washington Post's former employee Taylor Lorenz would have it).

Glenn Reynolds has a post up reminding media figures and journalists that they're more hated even than members of Congress.

Somehow, tho, they don't think they have targets on their backs.

Or are there alternative targets worthy of consideration?

I always look forward to your sunset photos, and I just realized why. I have watched the Longhorns game. I'm starting on SMU. Yet, when I look at that beauty, I feel my blood pressure drop. My shoulders lower. Life gets mellow. The rest of the crap out there goes away. Thank you.

An accidental publish… no I grabbed whatever was available, a ride to Buford which was not as remunerative as a ride to Athens GA, but Buford is closer to my home, so that’s that. I drove 3 Ticos from close by Aquarium back to their hotel in Buford.

Morning in Syria and Damascas has fallen to rebels and Assad has left town.

That's pretty amazing - a lot has been going on in Syria for a couple of weeks now, but our coverage in the US is hard to find. It seems to be all about Washington DC, the election, and the consequences.

Much less importance but amazing finish to ACC championship game. Congrats Clemson, but boy I hate when winners post-game attribute their win (and Miami's earlier loss!) to God. What did SMU do to deserve God beating them at the buzzer? (And the committee had better select them for playoffs).

I read J-Post report.

"Prais-ed by God and not our strength for it." I don't think the French at Agincourt necessarily deserved God's scorn; it's just humble and classy to chalk a win up to outside forces rather than the other side's poor fighting.

Well you did manage to pick one war that may have involved Divine intervention in the form of the Maid of Orleans.

They were Methodists?

Because radical Islamist revolutionaries have a great track record for being an improvement over secular autocrats. See: Iran.

Note to all the girls at the NYTimes: no, your hip new Syrian rebel boyfriend will not let you keep writing sex toy reviews.

Freder, I don't think you understand (or want to understand) why many athletes praise God for their successes.
