Love that box in the lower left.

Thanks a billion, CBS, it's almost like a massive and expensive "survey" was conducted to find what Americans really thought of Trump. Sure Kamala magically got six million extra votes after election night, but trying to hand the election to her now is going to get people shot in the face.

I can't wait until the parasite class is broadly expunged from American media, law, and finance.

They should have a 5th category "SCARRED". For those who are scared so many voted "R"

15% of Democrats are happy with the transition so far? Huh

Achilles said...

What you are seeing is the loss of perceived social status. Before Trump won they could bully and demand censorship of those that disagreed with them. They have been trying and mostly successful in driving disagreement with them out of the public square.

Now all of those Trump supporters have a voice and places where they can express their views and their political coalition has power.

Now these fascists have to actually convince people their fascist crap is the best way in open public forum and they know that will not happen.

Also they get to deal with public shame.

Most of those in the Tik Tok, but especially the "How Dare You?" is exactly the "Why, why, why".

Look at the conventions. The RNC was "Welcome to the party" which the DNC was all "How dare you?". Though I believe they had to go with "How could you?" as Greta holds the trademark on the other.

The "Scared" group of democrats are most likely Government or HR department employees of various types.

A lot of people with useless parasite jobs are going to be polishing resumes.

The University System and the Federal Government carry a lot of these useless parasites. I would be scared too if I was a useless bureaucrat sucking the life out of productive people right now.

I assume they mean Democrats and not just voters who voted for the Democratic Party candidate this time... in which case, some Democrats voted for Trump.

TDS is on schedule to unwind over the next two years. The 2026 midterm elections will tell the tale: if the Republicans increase their numbers in congress then the old era is truly dead.

If people did not fear the militant left they'd aggressively criticize the militant left. But, beta males and women on the left likely suffer from mass Stockholm syndrome and will "stand by their Democrat man" just like Hillary stood by Bill despite his many lies and affairs. It's what dependent, social climbing, and fearful people do.

50% "Scared". Oh brother.

Sadly, a large percentage of those people won't feel any differently regardless of what transpires over the next four years. They are mentally weak, spoiled children in adult bodies.

BUT; think about if You WANT to remain..

SHOW THE WORLD A LESSON! remove your Democrats from it!
The world will (probably) be sad when you are all gone!
The world will (probably) miss you when you're gone!!!!

Remember, in the left's/dem's/New Soviet Democraticals/LLR-democraticals political power formulation, if anyone fails to rhetorically agree with them that is "scary" and "literal violence" whereas their actual literal violence is just "speech".

What I learned from this is Harris won the mentally ill vote by a landslide.

A) Be suspicious of any poll that has all of America broken down into only "Republicans" and "Democrats." According to data I have seen, only 47% of registered voters have declared a party affiliation - independents make up more than half of all registered voters. Where are they in this poll?

B) Who in their right mind has seen war erupt in the Ukraine and escalate to apparently have North and South Korea fighting each other while America provides land mines and long range missiles (and targeting information for those missiles) to strike Russia itself, while a different war erupted in the Middle East, with Israel fighting Hamas and Hezbolah and various other semi-political entities shut down shipping in the Red Sea, all under Biden's watch, could identify as "scared" that someone else would take over our thus-far disastrous foreign policy?

William said...

I'm sure that Trump will turn out to be wrong about a lot of things, but, on balance, less things than Biden or Harris. As an added plus, he's not senile and doesn't have a vacuous personality. I can understand why people dislike Trump but not such intense hatred. I can understand why people might prefer Harris but I can't understand how any sane person would consider her "joyous".....It wasn't so long ago that Catholics, Lutherans, and Anglicans would find it necessary to burn each other at the stake for their opposing views on how to consecrate the host. Perhaps there's something hardwired in people to find some reason to hate their neighbor to advance brotherly love......If you're not a true believer in any religion or political party, you find it all somewhat excessive.

The GOPe is already in Full Swing, as they were in 2017-2018, to try and:
- stifle all Trump nominees that would make a difference in the direction the republican base voters want
- stop all Trump populist/America First policies in the Senate
- purposely throw both the House and the Senate to the dems in 2026
- support democratical efforts to impeach Trump again at least twice from 2027-2028.

Will the playbook McConnell and Ryan ran against Trump during Trump's first term, with their democrat and deep state allies, work again?

We're going to find out.

It's a tossup to me as to what's better about the election results: The hysteric videos from leftist lunatics or the fact that Trump won. Also, I do believe that old guy with the rainbow scarf is the best meltdown video so far. If you watch the whole thing there's a point where he practically sticks his nose on the camera and screams HATE! HATE! HATE! in a sobbing voice. Poor guy might have been too traumatized to teach his class that day.

pacwest said...

Wow. 3 year olds throwing a tantrum. I can't see it any differently then that. A bit scary coming from adults. The parents of these people did a bad job of preparing their kids for the real world. Maybe substituted drugs for parenting?

Not to worry. Once the deportations of illegals begins, there'll be plenty of job openings. As a bonus- resumes will not be required.

Sweet Jaysus these Democrats are frightened… so pathetic. When they aren’t raiding the nation’s treasury, importing millions of illegal aliens, they are shaking in their boots.

Quivering Quimbies, the lot.

Enigma said...

@Drago: I agree that Trump had a 0% chance of at success in 2017, as McCain, Romney, McConnell, etc. thought he was a freak and interloper. They were as shocked as Hillary by his win, and would have never allowed the hamstringing of the Mueller investigation if they were actual allies. By 2021 following endless impeachments, obvious state COVID lies, Biden's stupid economic moves, and spiteful anti-Trump lawfare, the sands shifted.

What changed is that many Democrats defected (e.g., Tulsi Gabbard; RFK Jr., Musk) and the hardcore Never Trump crowd openly moved away (e.g., the Cheneys). IMO the worst case is that balance returns to left-vs-right Deep State players, as the players were 99.9% Democrats after Crossfire Hurricane in 2015. The best case is that we see true reform, and it could happen. Even the Catholic Church initiated the counterreformation after the protestants broke away.

Well, yes. Many voters, and this is much more true of registered Democrats than registered Republicans, vote on inertia. That is, they have always voted pretty exclusively for Democrats, and likely their parents did the same, maybe even grandparents. But eventually a lot of people got pushed over a line, and voted for Donald Trump because they were fed up. Maybe they were fed up with taxpayer dollars wasted through raw incompetence (for instance Pete Buttigieg was handed $7.5 billion to build a half million EV charging stations all across the US, but as of the election only 8 have been built). Maybe their kids were menaced (or worse) by Latin American gang bangers in school. Maybe they or family members lost their jobs to "undocumented" immigrants. Maybe thanks to Bidenomics inflation they had to decide between healthy breakfasts for their kids and fixing the car. Whatevs. They voted for Trump. Now it's up to Trump, working with Senators ,Congresscritters, and the RNC, to keep them voting Republican.

Shouldn't be hard.

Breezy said...

Me too. I bet the “Scared” percentage would be pretty high both R and D.

Makes sense as Trump is essentially a 1960's JFK democrat and a bunch of his cabinet picks are Democrats.

What you are seeing is the split of the Democrat party. They were taken over by fascist progressives and the classic liberals voted for Trump.

A lot of this hysteria can be blamed on the New York Times and the Washington Post who in the past could be trusted to report the political news objectively, at least within limits. Educated readers trusted them based on that history and this is the result.
