I read that LBJ was hoping that the Democratic Convention in Chicago would still draft him and he would "reluctantly" accept.

If you really want a good laugh- watch this thing at 1.5 speed. Most speeches are easily understood at 1.5-2.0 speed, but Biden was so amped on meth and slurring words together so badly, it was nearly all gibberish at 1.5.
Whoever wrote this speech for him did him literally no favors- I would almost be willing to claim this speech was written to bury him politically.

How can the political system in the world's largest economy lead to these two candidates? Both are too old and unfit for such an office. But clearly Biden is the less bad choice compared to the narcissistic criminal that is Don the Con.
Whenever I see LBJ, I always think of Clinton and Liberal Blow Job.

Whenever somebody says "clearly" it means, I don't actually have any evidence for this, but everybody I agree with is saying it. Try this definition next time somebody says "clearly" and you will see it works almost every time.

My primary take away was economic. Bidenomics s a sweeping success. The Stop inflation act (actually the add green new deal pork bill) is a smash hit adding swell jobs everywhere.

Take the sting out of bouncing checks.
Get us fuller bags of Doritos.
Help people be able to buy a home because interest rates are too damn high.
And more, much more.
Boy am I glad the economy is "the envy of the world". I can't stand any more "good" news. My grandchildren sure as hell can't.
