When a chat bot comes up with something as freakish as that, I'm going to start to worry.

A great record, still holds up for me.
I too didn't appreciate this record until I was older and hadn't heard it in years. It sounds a lot better now - even unusually so - however you hear it than it did from an AM transistor radio 58 years ago.

Yeah, they seem coerced. It's not pleasant. No way could their movements be inspired by the music.
As for Len Barry, how could he be styled like that in 1965, one year into Beatlemania? The answer is that this is "blue-eyed soul" and he's styled like a black soul singer.
Not for most people living on this planet.
