"Wisconsin’s longtime Democratic Secretary of State Doug La Follette abruptly resigned on Friday, saying he was leaving three months into his 11th consecutive term “to focus on my personal needs” after watching the office be stripped of its power over the past 50 years.
Gov. Tony Evers appointed former Treasurer Sarah Godlewski, who ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate last year, to fill out the four-year term. Wisconsin’s secretary of state has not been in charge of elections since 1974 and has almost no official duties.
“After many years of frustration, I’ve decided that I don’t want to spend the next three and a half years trying to run an office without adequate resources and staffing levels,” the 82-year-old La Follette said in his resignation letter."

I don't know if it's real or not, but there's a Reddit thread on how new higher-end Samsung phones use AI to enhance photos of the moon. This isn't by standard means but by using build in hi-res data of what the AI thinks the moon should look like (bad summary by me). The redittor claims that they downloaded, blurred, and then printed out a picture of the moon. They then took a photo of that printout. The phone made it look like a higher res picture, which is impossible to do by legitimate means.
Three major banks gone in a week and Credit Suisse going, going, gone across the pond. If it's forced into UBS merger, a possible 10,000 jobs could be lost, I am reading. How many more banks still to go? Why did major American banks put so much money into saving Republic?
Maybe Ben Bernanke's policies did not save the universe after all.

Democrats were not the only people who Trump upended. Trump is unpredictable.
These people cannot understand how an actual leader looks compared to a lifetime politician. They just cannot envision a world outside of what they know.
1. Government shuts down economy due to the “pandemic” bankrupting businesses and putting millions out of work.
2. Government doles out trillions in funny money to mitigate the effects of item 1 above.
3. Federal reserve in reaction to and in support of 1 and 2 above, reduces banks reserve requirement to historically low levels, even briefly into negative numbers (which I didn’t think was mathematically possible).
4. Banks respond by making lots and lots of loans backed by almost no reserves. (I should note that banks run by actual bankers resisted this trend and kept their reserves at more prudent levels)
5. Along came the entirely predictable inflation caused by items 1 and 2.
6. Federal Reserve responds by increasing reserve requirements back to pre-pandemic levels and a little bit more.
7. Banks that fell for item 3 by making lots and lots of loans suddenly find themselves catastrophically short of reserves and go bankrupt.
8. Government predictably responds to item 7 by bailing them out with even more trillions in funny money, thus hamstringing the Feds ability to control inflation.

Went to Safeway this morning to get a dozen grade AA eggs. The entire egg section was empty but for 6 cartons of grade B eggs. I bought one carton, and now there are only 5 cartons.
On the topic of lefties mind reading Trump, I am reading Edward J Epstein's book, "Assume Nothing" and he describes his first meeting with Nixon, long he retired. He found Nixon to be charming and very sympathetic. He had written a book about Nixon and Watergate and this Nixon was nothing like he had described him. "How could I have gotten Nixon so wrong?"

Trump wants to be seen in handcuffs. It will solidify his position as a political martyr. Can’t be the Ds are dumb enough to do this.
Somewhere there are drivers for my 3D printer, but they are not in my computer. (sigh) 3 hours shot to hell.
That Biden guy is a real jerk.

They know so much they can’t learn anymore.
Let me see if I got this straight.

9. Hilarity ensues.
