I suspect that the charge is being brought to silence Peterson by making it illegal for him to speak publicly and impersonally about the area of his expertise, which is psychology.
I would and could post all the correspondence with and accusations levied by those who complained about me and the college itself public, and will do so, if the college agrees. But I can’t, on legal grounds justified in normal times but rendered specious by the dominion of the politically correct and radical. I can’t, because of this, and because it is not in the interest of the college or the complainants they are sheltering and abetting to allow it.

When I took Six Sigma Black Belt training long ago I was told that it was standard practice that when a customer quality problem occurred there was a 3 step cure:

The court is teaming up with the college to censor JP through gag orders and NDA's.
Because the College is one of the entities being sued they are pretending that these communications of Peterson's are as a representative of the College. They are using these legal devices to censor Peterson and not allowing him to defend himself.

I have a very dear single-parent friend in Québec who is desperate to emigrate to the States with the child. Anything you hear about English Canada, multiply it 4-fold. That province had a genuine totalitarian régime from the mid-'30s to the mid-'50s, as in ... if you said ANYTHING the dictatorship did not like, they would seize your business and/or home without compensation. As in ... order troops to kill striking miners. And so on.
Trudeau Sr. was a brilliant man who rose to prominence by fighting -- end eventually defeating -- the Duplessis dictatorship. His pitiable son has taken the opposite approach, and views Duplessis as a model.
One son and I left the Canadian shit-show over 30 years ago. Second son, who now lives in Ontario -- Québec was too much even for him -- is now setting up bank accounts, securing US credit, and so on, for any potential migration to the States. As dual citizen, we all have the right to be in the US. My friend does not, and I am actively searching for options, because the "special needs" child in this case is being actively abused b multiple government agencies -- as in denied schooling, denied treatment, and intentionally isolated from other kids -- and (s)he is far from alone.
When a disabled 52 yo wounded combat vet (paraplegic) was not only denied a wheel-chair lift, but instead urged to use the government's assisted-suicide option ... the trajectory became clear. It was Kristallnacht for anyone whose special needs might require government attention, moneys, competent assistance,, or adherence to EXISTING law.

Sounds like JP’s been gagged from disclosing the specific complaints made against him, and believes the basis for his silencing is not justified under the circumstances of his case.

When in law school there was a case addressing the practice of a sheriff's salary being a percentage of the fines he and his office levied. I think the case involved the old speed traps that sheriffs in the Carolinas, in Georgia and Florida would set for the "Yankees" driving down to FL for the Winter.
