Sunrise — 7:15, 7:11.

I arrived on the scene at 7:11 and waited for what I called "the dot":

There it is, our dot, our orb — the star of the show, the whole show, life on Earth.

That's not me admiring the sun. I was taking that photograph. But 4 minutes earlier, pre-dot, it was me in the photograph, greeting the photographer, Meade:

My wife also kept her long hair and I love it. Too many our age give into the temptation to adopt an easy-to-care for too-short old lady ‘do. Good for you Althouse.

We went to a presentation on the sun at a planetarium last night. It said in a billion years the dot will be so hot that all water on earth will evaporate, making life impossible. In five billion years the sun will grow to be a red giant, engulfing inner planets like the earth, and then collapse into a white dwarf. So we should enjoy the sun while we can.

Keto Cooking Series Launch.

This is a beef stroganoff recipe.

Cutting up the pancake recipe and working on export now. White Sauce Chicken Onion Pizza and Cheesecake are in production now.

There are some exercise shorts for fun on there that will be the basis for later fitness videos.

“ easy-to-care for too-short ”

Long is much easier

Sunrise, on the dot. Dotrise. Orbrise.

I like my wife in long hair too, but she doesn't. Hers isn't thick like the Prof's though.

The Redsox did something today that had never been done in Major League baseball post-season history. They hit two grand-slams in the same game.

My neighbor has been in the hospital for over a week (not COVID, but ICU space is an issue due to severe shortages of nurses, so she's over in New Hampshire) and I have been watching her cat. You know what? Now I know that I never want a cat if it's not going to be an outdoor cat. This is the first "indoor cat" I ever had, and it's not worth it. God forbid that the cat should live a life of freedom and risk, like they evolved to do.

I am enjoying this baseball game. You have to hand it to the Houston fans.

Serious (Rhetorical) Question....

IF i declare, that MY pronouns are
The Lord, GOD Almighty

will people...
a) be Forced to use those pronouns?
b) laugh at me for being a f*cked psycho case?

Where IS the limit?
at what point do mental illnesses become mental illnesses; and When are they personal expression?

Asking for a friend... The Lord, GOD Almighty

There's something I do not understand about the current supply chain crisis. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been off for a two month paternity (paid) leave. Okay, fair enough, he's legally entitled to do that. But he has a deputy, Polly Trottenberg, who has an impressive CV with respect to transportation issues (New York City DOT, Under Secretary Transportation for Policy during the Obama administration, Port Authority of New York). Why is she not stepping up to the challenge? Is she being blocked by her boss lest she show him up? Is she being blocked by Joe Biden's staffers because she lacks a penis? What's going on here?

Jeez, while California's new emission law is kneecapping the trucking fleet, AB5 isn't even in effect yet; it's in abeyance due to a temporary injunction.

Not too obsess on hair- but…

Mine was very long, very thick and always up. Where I work: dairy barn- it picked up the smell even through a hat. I cut it over two months ago- and even shorter the 2nd time around. I did an undercut and love it. And now the cows can’t yank my ponytail!! They’re always trying to put some part of me in their maws- I’m also going to let my hair go grey- wtf, I say. That’s easier for me.

Just got the bad news from Microsoft. My 10 year old PC is not good enough for their new Windows 11 operating system. 😢

California ports are backed up because of three issues:

1 ) AB5 outlawed owner/operator trucks.
2 ) The California Air Resources Board banned trucks older then 2011 because of pollution controls.
3 ) Crane operators (Longshore mans' union) are slow-walking the unloading of the ships.

The first two are the direct result of California's nonfunctioning government.

Pass stupid laws, get stupid results.

Pretty slim for 70. The temptation once you get past 60 is to put on the lbs. After all, what do looks matter anymore? but there's the health side of things. Better to control your weight. At least until you get to 80.

From Instapundit:

“The CIA accidentally left a “putty-type” battlefield explosive beneath the hood of a Loudon [sic] County, Virginia school bus after a training exercise last week, according to the agency. As a result, elementary and high school students spent two days riding the bus as the explosives bounced around under the hood. Hey, it’s not like “intelligence” is the organization’s middle name or anything.”

Yes, this is the same Loudoun County Public Schools that has been in the news for describing parents as “terrorists” and which green-lighted the rape of teenaged biological females by teenaged biological males that claim to identify as females.
