Biden says: "The fact is systemic racism touches every facet of American life, and everyone — no matter your race or ethnicity — benefits when we build a more equitable America."

That's a tweet.

I think it's unlikely that Biden wrote this himself. Has he internalized critical race theory ideology? I wonder if he even read this, and, if he read it, if he understood it.

If he understood it, did he understand what it says about his own ascendancy in American political life? I don't see how he could possibly believe what he's tweeting and not feel certain that his presidency is a consequence of systemic racism. He did choose Kamala Harris as his Vice President, so maybe he's got it all figured out, and I will win my bet that Biden will oust himself from the presidency by March 1st.

ADDED: Here's the transcript of the racial equity speech Biden gave yesterday. Video here. Let's read:

In my campaign for president, I made it very clear, that the moment it arrived as a nation, where we faced deep racial inequities in America and systemic racism that has plagued our nation for far, far too long. I said that over the course of the past year that the blinders have been taken off the nation, the American people. What many Americans didn’t see or had simply refused to see couldn’t be ignored any longer....

One of the reasons I’m so optimistic about this nation is that today’s generation of young Americans is the most progressive, thoughtful, inclusive generation that America has ever seen. And they are pulling us toward justice in so many ways, forcing us to confront the huge gap in economic inequity, between those at the top and everyone else, forcing us to confront the existential crisis of climate. And yes, forcing us to confront systemic racism and white supremacy.

It’s just been weeks since all America witnessed a group of thugs, insurrectionists, political extremist and white supremacists violently attack the capital of our democracy. And so now, now’s the time to act. It’s time because that’s what the faith and morality calls us to do....

We’ve never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation, to state the obvious, that all people are created equal and have a right to be treated equally throughout their lives. And it’s time to act now, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because if we do, we’ll all be better off for it for it.

For too long, we’ve allowed a narrow cramped view of the promise of this nation to fester. We’ve bought the view that America is a zero sum game, in many cases....

[W]e need to make the issue of racial equity... the business of a whole of government. That’s why I issued in one of the first days, my whole government executive order that will, for the first time advance, equity for all throughout our federal policies and institutions.... Today, I’ll be shortly signing an additional package of executive actions to continue this vital work.....

And the simple truth is our soul will be troubled as long as systemic racism is allowed to persist. We can’t eliminate… It’s not going to be overnight. We can’t eliminate everything, but it’s corrosive. It’s destructive. And it’s costly. It cost every American, not just who felt the sting of racial injustice. We are not just a nation of morally deprived because of systemic racism. We’re also less prosperous. We’re less successful, less secure. We must change. And I know it’s going to take time, but I know we can do it.

And I firmly believe the nation is ready to change, but government has to change as well. We need to make equity and justice part of what we do every day, today, tomorrow, and every day, I’m going to sign these executive actions to continue the work, to make real the promise of America for every American. Again, I’m not promising we can end it tomorrow, but I promise you, we’re going to continue to make progress to eliminate systemic racism in every branch of the White House and the federal government is going to be part of that effort.

Democrats have never stopped being racists.

It's less that they are racists (although certainly many were and are) than that racism is a tool they've always used. Democrats are and have always been the Tammany Party. Race is just one fault line to divide and manipulate people.

White liberals really ARE racists. They believe POC are incapable of taking care of themselves and spend their political lives making sure they don't have to. Liberals of color are content to let them.

American black IQ is ten points higher than African black IQ.

Do you have data on that ? My impression is that slaves were losers in tribal wars, suggesting that the winners might have had higher IQs. I guess you could argue that American blacks have more white DNA on average but I am not convinced that African blacks are less intelligent. It is obvious that selection applies as those who get here are probably like Irish immigrants in the 19th century. Many Irish will tell you "The cream left" as a reason why the Irish are not very enthusiastic about Americans looking for "roots" there.

Nigerians, in particular, are dismissive of American blacks.

Greg Kelly's show today had a clip of Obama (I think circa late November) saying his ideal was to have a front man that he could direct via earpiece.
You know..things like like "Salute the Marines"

Of course, Obama allegedly said never underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up.

The premise of systemic racism is false. The idea that any disparity in outcome is proof of racism is not true. It denies individual effort, talent, and character.

The problem with some high "IQ" folk is that once they learn of it, they assume their lack of common sense is ennobled.

Joe "Malvolio" Biden's doing a fine job of fucking thing up so far. Killed 70,000 jobs on his first day with just two signatures. He's pleasing his Russian and Chinese overlords with his bans on new fracking on federal lands and his retraction of Chinese hardware for our power grid. Joe's the Manchurian candidate for both Russia and China. He'll need to consult his handlers as to which one of those two to please first.

As Trump has so aptly put it "Joe doesn't even know he's alive". Biden writes or says nothing. His handlers do everything for him.

I like to think his handlers have placed restaurant menu overlays into those EO binders, leaving room for the signature line.
"Vittles for the Nat Guard troops, Joe."

"Very clear"? The statement literally makes no sense. Go ahead; try to translate it into English. I'll wait.

It's nonsense, and that's a feature, not a bug. To make the "systemic racism" claim you CAN'T make sense. You have to pretend that the change in status for Black Americans, from chattel slaves in 1865 to free people who are increasingly joining the middle class doesn't matter. Yes, there have been reverses from time to time -- like Woodrow Wilson's re-segregation of the federal workforce -- and yes, there's still more progress we want to see made, but you'd have to be a fool or a demagogue to claim that there's been no improvement.

Most Democrat politicians, in fact, have never really cared about the welfare of Black people. They want the Black votes, which they've usually gotten. And Black people haven't gotten much in return. Anyone prepared to bet it'll be different this time?

My scores on SATs, ACTs, GREs, and MATs overqualify me for MENSA, but almost without exception the people I've known who were Mensans had few other distinctions.

So it might be a sign of superior intelligence not to admit membership

Well..posting a sig separated addendum to a single sentence comment..you know the thing!

Re MENSA. Some time in the early 1990's I received a formal, engraved, invitation to join MENSA. It was on excellent quality paper in double envelopes. I have NO IDEA why it was sent, as I had never expressed any interest in the organization. Of course I didn't respond. Still a mystery. Would they have used my few scientific publications as some kind of criterion for membership? Anyone else ever get one of these?

Muttering Joe can barely find a pen to sign documents he has no idea what are. Him tweeting his own stuff on Twitter? That's as likely as Hunter going to rehab.

Yeah. My take as well. My wifes a member.
Does any one else when reading,'Narr' at the end of one of Narr's missives do it in a pirate voice? I can't keep myself from doing it.

Rusty, someone a while back said they read me as Aussie, and I suppose 'narr' does have a piraty tone, especially if drawn out. Narrr. Naaarrrr. In German it sounds crisper.
