I just put 7 175 amp fuses on 7 parallel 12v batteries in the basement. Giving the 15w solar panel in the yard more work to do in keeping them charged, but retaining the ability to do something useful with the power it stores up if the power goes out someday. I don't know what you did with the last segment of the frazzlement podcast, but the audio was much clearer and easier to hear.
