"[John Lewis] knew, from his own life, that progress is fragile, that we have to be vigilant against the darker currents of this country’s history, of our own history, with their whirlpools of violence, and hatred, and despair that can always rise again. Bull Connor may be gone, but today we witnessed with our own eyes police officers kneeling on the necks black Americans. George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators. We may no longer have to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar in order to cast a ballot, but even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darnedest to discourage people from voting by closing polling locations, and targeting minorities and students with restrictive ID laws, and attacking our voting rights with surgical precision, even undermining the postal service in the run up to an election that’s going to be dependent on mail in ballots so people don’t get sick. Now, I know this is a celebration of John’s life. There are some who might say we shouldn’t dwell on such things. But that’s why I’m talking about it. John Lewis devoted his time on this earth fighting the very attacks on democracy and what’s best in America that we’re seeing circulate right now. He knew that every single one of us has a God given power and that the fate of this democracy depends how we use it. That democracy isn’t automatic, it has to be nurtured, it has to be tended to, we have to work at it. It’s hard...."

Oh gosh, why devote not just one but two posts to this gross liar's incitement of race war, presented entirely without comment? Of course it turned into yet another Wellstone funeral, and of course the weaker and dumber members of social media don't have the spine to speak out against it.
Frankly, I think we should give the Democrats as many funerals as they can handle. They seem to revel in them politically.
What an ass.
This is pretty bad. It's not so much that he loves Lewis--or anyone else--as that he hates Trump. I guess it's true that he really lost his famous temper when Trump re-upped the birther issue, or brought it back to national prominence. I've come round to the view that Obama and Susan Rice did a lot to build up, and get people to act upon, the paranoid fantasy of Trump-Russia. This is very poor service to his country.
We may no longer have to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar in order to cast a ballot,
There were times when some weren't allowed but otherwise it's been pretty easy for a long time. Maybe you're just stupid?
Al Sharpton Jr speaks like he was at Paul Wellstones funeral. Disgraceful, but typical of the dividing that Obama was ALL ABOUT. He is the most divisive ex-president of my lifetime....
Obama is just as divisive as Trump. Maybe more so.
“George Wallace...”, he consulted with the editors of the New York Times on that.
One grifter says farewell to another grifter.
Powerful call to arms
we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.
you mean? we Mostly peaceful demonstrators Blinding federal agents with lasers?
We may no longer have to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar in order to cast a ballot, but even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darnedest...
you mean?
doing their darnedest, to make sure You vote doesn't count, because it is superseded by legal aliens voting, people voting in multiple districts, and totally fabricated vote 'harvesting'
"There are some who might say we shouldn’t dwell on such things. But that’s why I’m talking about it." Because fuck you, whitey.
I propose that instead of guessing the number of jellybeans in a jar, Americans be required to pass a basic standardized civics test before voting.
Never hand over a loaded gun to someone wbo has no clue how to use it.
Good old Obama the Divider, never missing an opportunity to demagogue and stir up racial hate. Glad he mentioned Democrat Bull Connor, showing he still can’t reconcile the party he’s in with its own history of oppression.
The best thing about Obama...all the racial healing (yes stolen from somewhere)
"The race is not yet won.... we have not yet reached that blessed destination, where we are judged by the content of our character."
I think the Dems are on a path to judge everyone by the context of their pronouns.
Why live Martin’s Dream when you can claim his real struggle was for non-binary trans rights?
You voted for him.
The content of his character, once again on prominent display.
“Darndest”?
Even his own speech writer can’t take this crap seriously.
It's just the dem talking points. Some people like to live in that narrative. Everybody gets to choose their fiction these days. No more just Liz Taylor and Richard Burton as a choice.
Patrick said... “ I propose that instead of guessing the number of jellybeans in a jar, Americans be required to pass a basic standardized civics test before voting.”
I am proud to say thatTennessee already has a civics testing program for all students, both at the elementary and high school level:
“Per state law (T.C.A. § 49-6-1028e), all districts shall implement a project-based civics assessment at least once in grades 4–8 and once in grades 9–12. The project-based civics assessments are developed by the district to ensure students demonstrate an understanding of civics and achieve the learning objectives contained within the social studies standards.
Additionally, per state law (T.C.A. § 49-6-408), students must take and pass (70 percent or higher) the United States citizenship and immigration test during the student’s high school career (i.e., grades 9-12). Schools in which all seniors earning a regular diploma score 85 percent or higher on the U.S. civics test will be recognized by the department as a U.S. Civics All-Star School.
All districts are required to submit a civics compliance form (project-based assessments and U.S. citizenship and immigration test) annually by June 15. The civics compliance form will be made available to districts in April through the Commissioner’s Update for Directors of Schools and through other department communications.”
This is not a requirement for voting but I think it should be a requirement to pass the US citizenship and immigration test to register to vote. However, due to the South’s history that is probably going to be hard to do.
I can't wait until the Durham report comes out and wipes that smirk off this asses face. Hopefully, he goes down with his corrupt ship of fools.
"Oh gosh, why devote not just one but two posts to this gross liar's incitement of race war, presented entirely without comment?"
What's the other post? You are wrong.
Kids say the darndest things.
You might not have been paying attention to the last Lewis funeral thread, Professor. Most of your comment base absolutely HATES Obama and the last thread was a deluge of addressing his disgusting lies about Republicans, which the Incredibly Honorable Bush the Lesser didn't see fit to combat. This thread is going to be a sequel. I didn't comment on it until the thread was dead- I don't have time for any of the three most dishonest ex-Presidents that followed Reagan, who are basically the same in their results if not their rhetoric. If you don't think the Lewis funeral thread was dedicated to the political response, especially from Obama (who you tagged), that's your affair.
Honestly, one fine draw for sites like AoSHQ is that we don't have to be chained to the NYT's hate machine. Their poisonous hatred will consume America's cities.
What a jerk.
You can almost hear all those chickens in the background, coming home to roost.
This reinforces my suspicion that he is at the center of all our current unrest via dark money and some behind the scenes activist organizing. Not a coincidence that the NYT ran the George Wallace analogy the same day as this speech. Didn’t BLM get it’s start during his administration? He’s got a lot of money and influence to do his community activist work now.
I’m disgusted with myself for having voted for that idiot hussein.
Wow! I forgot that Obama was such a partisan hack. A lie per sentence, of course the press will give him a tongue-bath for it, rather than fact-checking every comma, like they would for Trump.
One prime example: "...but today we witnessed with our own eyes police officers kneeling on the necks black Americans." Fact check. It was one black American whose neck was kneeled on by one police officer and it was not today, but a couple of months ago.
Typical Obama, lofty rhetoric that he has no interest in following up with actions. The rhetoric appeals to the white liberals, but let's get real here. Does anyone actually believe that the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson, or Stacey Abrams actually want to be judged by the content of their character? If Barack Obama were judged by the content of his character, would he be living in a mansion on Martha's Vinyard or would he be inside a cell in Leavenworth?
Few have done more than Obama to move us away from judging people by the content of their character, between all of his race-baiting and obnoxious Title IX distortions.
Still a con man and a liar.
My post about the Lewis funeral yesterday covered the Bush speech and the Clinton speech. I said nothing about Obama yesterday. If people brought him up in the comments, fine, but don't say I put up 2 posts about Obama's speech. That's just wrong.
This is what a community agitator does, he purs fire on the embers.
And yet the Democrats support policy after policy to assure that all Americans are NOT judged by the character of their color.
Tells a packed house sitting there for hours that we must vote by mail because of virus.
I never thought Obummer had much perspective on himself.
George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.
"Peaceful"? The Democrats keep using that word.
Bull Connor may be gone, but today we witnessed with our own eyes police officers kneeling on the necks black Americans.
Two days ago I saw a picture of a black male adult kneeling on the neck of a white toddler, captioned "BLM now MF."
Obama is just as divisive as Trump. Maybe more so.
Obama utilizes division as a tactic. Trump appears divisive to his enemies because Trump exists and because his enemies are unaccustomed to being punched back. Crybully aptly describes the left.
I have never understood how some people find Obama’s oratorical skills inspiring. To me he’s a junior-high gifted and talented student giving the speech his daddy wrote. I don't like Trump’s speeches either but at least I’m not forced hear how great the6 are by a slobbering press.
"Don't know much about history . . ." What good is being a gifted rhetorician if it is undermined by historical ignorance? Invoking Wallace and Connor reminds us that they were Democratic leaders (members of the Democratic National Committee) and such Democratic leaders were the very face of racism, opposition to civil rights and support for segregation. Which necessarily provokes the thought that the diminutive remnants of racism in America today are all concentrated in big cities which have been under Democratic control for half a century or more. All the BLM riots are against Democratic leaders (or at least in their jurisdictions.) Finally, "we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators" can't help but bring to mind the most famous instance of a Republican President sending in the National Guard against a Democratic leader - When Eisenhower sent the federalized NG to ensure the safe integration of Arkansas public schools following the Supreme Court decision Brown v. Board of Education overturning "separate but equal." An integration opposed by the Democratic Governor. John Lewis would not have made those rhetorical errors. But he was a moral man and a gentleman.
"George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators."
What a prick. And a liar. Peaceful my ass.
I want to ask Obama why he ordered the FBI and CIA to spy on the Trump campaign.
His legacy is about to go to hell. Clapper, Comey, Strozk et al. all get arrested on Thursday, August 6th; my birthday and the day we first dropped the bomb.
Once a smug, tedious tool, always a smug, tedious tool.
But he made women faint. Like Elvis. Go figure.
Asking for ID at the polling place makes police kneel on black men's necks! His speech reminded me I do not miss him and his weird preacher's southern accent when he is speaking to a black audience.
Also, saying that about the police is fine, but Trump is attacking postal workers by saying mail in ballots won't work!
Obama won his first seat by challenging his competitorss' voter's signatures on the petitions to get on the ballot. That's fraud. If people will use fraud to get on the ballot (according to Obama) why would they not use fraud to win? Especially when it's easy.
Ann doesn't like it when her massage is not seen exactly as she intended.
Lewis' s funeral was Wellstone II
And real black leaders like Larry Elder will continue to be ignored.
Bull Connor: Democrat.
George Wallace: Democrat.
Barack Obama: Demagogue.
Sending in federal officers to arrest violent protestors, many of whom are white, is judging people by the content of their character. Demanding that everyone take a knee because "Black Lives Matter" is looking at the color of people's skin. I'm still waiting for Democrats to recognize the true divider in the last decade is Barack Obama, who has been dividing people by the color of their skin all along.
Joe Biden was not at the John Lewis funeral, right?
Bull Connor may be gone, but today we witnessed with our own eyes police officers kneeling on the necks black Americans. George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.
Obama is a race hustler and liar.
It's creepy that a guy like Obama managed to get his own self elected President of the US.
"Creepy" because most of the people who caused or allowed that to happen are still around and using up good air.
Fact check. It was one black American whose neck was kneeled on by one police officer and it was not today, but a couple of months ago.
That's a conjecture, not a fact.
What is the difference between Al Sharpton and Barack Obama?
Yeah. I don't know either.
The leftist base of Obama's party is expressly against judging by character and for judging by color. They dismiss the color-blind ideal as naive. Surprised he is so out of touch, for such a cynically calculating man.
"George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.
It's a lie.
"there are those in power who are doing their darnedest to discourage people from voting by closing polling locations"
Oh, yeah, like in majority-black, black-run, Dem-Run counties.
"and targeting minorities and students with restrictive ID laws"
Huh? Like by asking for photo ID, like in all civilized countries?
"even undermining the postal service"
Huh?
Is there a more bad-faith a**le in American politics?
Not sure this went through.
"Don't know much about history . . ." What good is being a gifted rhetorician if it is undermined by historical ignorance? Demagogue's gotta demagogue.
I wonder who wrote that for him.
What a surprise. Division, partisanship, and unsupported accusations of racism.
You really get a sense of why nice centrist people love the Obamas so very much, huh?
Howard: "Powerful call to arms"
LOL
The race will be won when everything is free, especially rims and weed.
Howard calls it a "call to arms".
Be careful what you wish for.
Obama's campaign speech. So gross.
Good God, Althouse. Troll much? Yes, everybody understands that Obama is a self-interested hustler who was a joke as a President. How do his words have any more relevance than a street-corner con man?
An Obama post? Guess I'll slag the clown for old times sake, maybe use the portal while I'm there.
Never let a good crisis go to waste.
You would have thought this funeral would have been a ideal venue for "Mush Mouth" Biden to bloviate and toss us pearls of wisdom about race on this somber occasion.
Its telling that their star performer of Wellstone Funeral Part II was a racial agitator from 4 years ago.
It seems perfectly appropriate to celebrate the life of someone who lied about your shared political enemies by lying about your shared political enemies
One more time. Obama the asshole.
Blogger Amadeus 48 said..."Tells a packed house sitting there for hours that we must vote by mail because of virus."
Yeah.
Let me pile on: what a despicable little man.
You people can't win without suppression of the POC voters. In your view, Blacks having the franchise is tantamount to a race war.
The funny thing about Obama's "Goddamn America" philosophy and attitude is that he's never suffered one second for being black. His entire rise from obscurity to the Presidency and being a rich man, was due to his skin color and having a African father.
There's no way, someone with his academic record would've gotten into Harvard law without being black. He got nominated by the D's for the Senate because he was black, and he won the D POTUS nomination by getting 90% of the black primary vote. He was a complete mediocrity as President.
Yet, he continues to be divisive and acting like he's an oppressed minority and insists on pushing a radical agenda. He's dropped the mask and can say what he wants, and what he wants is a radical far left agenda. Change the election laws, give 4 senate votes to PR and DC, get rid of the filibuster, give illegals citizenship and open the borders. it would make the USA a bigger version of Calf. And a one-party state, dominated by the D's.
Having said that, I was actually surprised at how relatively moderate the funeral was. I expected more of a campaign rally, but then the D's think they are a guaranteed lock this November.
Apparently Obama didn't get the memo: "Judged by the content of your character" is now considered racist.
Punaho, Columbia, Harvard Law, professor at U/Chicago Law, two-term POTUS, millionaire - what the living fuck does he know about 'not reaching the blessed destination.' He got exactly what America offers anyone with brains, initiative and drive. Tougher for POCs, but for chrissakes, Barack, STFU already.

Projection is not a good look for you, Howard. The only votes the right wants to suppress are those you are counting on. The fraudulent ones. The dead, the ballot harvested, the ones in the Democrat official's car trunk. You know. The usual.
The reason you lefties hated Herman Cain was that you are panicky about blacks voting for someone other than the descendants of the KKK.
Obama’s speech at the funeral was something Trump could never have given. Such eloquence and strength delivered impeccably. That is what a President sounds like.
I'm sure it's already been said above me here. Barack Obama's greatest act is that of an honorable man, who sees the truth and speaks it, looks evil in the eye and stands up to it, and is selfless in his devotion to his fellow citizens. Of course, he is none of those things and does non of those things- which is why he is a great actor.
But all great actors can only survive and gain more acclaim and power when adoration and unquestioned loyalty are heaped on them.
From the very beginning, Obama was shaking hands with the dirt and slime of politicos. From his start as a state senator in Illinois, to his election as US Senator through some unsealing of an opponents sealed documents. He has always had that knack of smiling, or looking very noble, while telling tales, dividing people, accusing- but not pointing fingers. He is the ultimate passive aggressive progressive. He instigates, perpetuates, and denigrates (hell...I could be writing for Al Sharpton).
But while he can dress up, look nice, smile beautifully, and he has legions of fawning people all around the world, there has always been something very evil and deceptive about him. And it showed itself again yesterday. He is classless. Divisive. And, like Bull Connor- a Democrat through and through.
I'm smelling Paul Wellstone's funeral here.
By the way- Herman Cain's life should be learned and held up to for America to see. His was a great rags to riches story. A story of self determination, faith, and smarts. Instead of getting ahead by digging up dirt on his opponents, he started from nothing and became a titan of his industry. Long before ever becoming a radio or political figure. And he was a truly kind man. Instead he'll be glossed over. While Obama will continue to have gold pieces tossed at he and his wife.

No. There is much more in their playbook.
This election will be violent and the media will blame it on White Supremacy.
Their lawyers will contest every Republican ballot and argue for boxes of ballots found in car trunks days later. It will make the 2000 election seem like child's play.
The call to armed revolution will come from the Left, but as usual blamed on us.
Matthew Dowd has an excellent column on Obama's eulogy, calling it a pivotal moment. [Racists, of course won't be able to see that]:
"There are often pivotal days and moments in the midst of election campaigns and Thursday definitely felt like one of those days. In the same instant President Donald Trump suggested postponing Election Day based on erroneous talking points about absentee ballots, former President Barack Obama gave a moving and powerful eulogy for Rep. John Lewis.
The civil rights icon fought his entire life for voting rights, justice and equality, and Obama extolled us to continue that fight, while Trump wants to do something that is not only unconstitutional, it is something no president in our history has floated. Abraham Lincoln didn't do during the Civil War in 1864, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt didn't do in the midst of World War II in 1944.
One line really struck me from Obama's speech: "And so he knew that it depends on whether we summon a measure, just a measure, of John's moral courage to question what's right and what's wrong."...
Matthew Dowd
Joe Biden was not at the John Lewis funeral, right?
Hidin' Biden couldn't understand why he was the only one who demanded to speak at Grandpa Al Lewis's funeral.
Also, fuck Barack Obama. Fuck him right in the ear, with a power drill.
Looking forward to the Cain funeral eulogy?

Why in the world would Republicans admire that empty suit?
Several months before Obama announced his U.S. Senate bid, Jones called his old friend Cliff Kelley, a former Chicago alderman who now hosts the city’s most popular black call-in radio program.
I called Kelley last week and he recollected the private conversation as follows:
“He said, ‘Cliff, I’m gonna make me a U.S. Senator.'”
“Oh, you are? Who might that be?”
“Barack Obama.”
Jones appointed Obama sponsor of virtually every high-profile piece of legislation, angering many rank-and-file state legislators who had more seniority than Obama and had spent years championing the bills.
“I took all the beatings and insults and endured all the racist comments over the years from nasty Republican committee chairmen,” State Senator Rickey Hendon, the original sponsor of landmark racial profiling and videotaped confession legislation yanked away by Jones and given to Obama, complained to me at the time. “Barack didn’t have to endure any of it, yet, in the end, he got all the credit.
That was by a Democrat in 2008.
He's right, diversity is not only persistent, but a progressive condition.
[Obama] What an ass.
He's a Democrat. Their intransigence, divisiveness is not perceived as a burden, but wielded as a badge of honor.
This election will be violent and the media will blame it on White Supremacy.
Yes, they promised it would happen with the election of Obama, another failed prediction a la [catastrophic] [anthropogenic] climate cooling... warming... change, but it was delayed by 8 years and now 16 trimesters later it is still in progress.
Two days ago I saw a picture of a black male adult kneeling on the neck of a white toddler, captioned "BLM now MF."
This beats that:
"A group of [BLACK] teens[sic] pummeled a [white] pregnant Illinois mom — and even drop-kicked her helpless [white] tot — during a caught-on-video brawl, according to footage and reports."
...
"As the [BLACK] group clobbered the [white] mom, a [BLACK] teen boy suddenly ran over and kicked the [white] toddler in the head, the report said. [and it's clear in the video]
He then proceeded to stomp on the [white] mother’s head, as she struggled on the ground.
The [BLACK] mom of the [BLACK] teen boy defended him on her Facebook, claiming the tot kick was an “accident,” the Mirror reported.
“He didn’t try 2 kick that [white] baby he tried 2 jump over the [white] baby on to her and made a mistake…as y’all can see the baby ran from under the girl fighting while he was coming down,” said the [BLACK] mom, who was not identified in the report."
++
Am I capitalizing BLACK correctly, in that this incident illustrates BLACKS' strong historical and cultural commonalities?
"The race is not yet won..."
That's the point...that's the entire scam. It will never be 'won.' It can never be 'won.'
Race hustlers will have their hands out forever. No matter how much progress is made, it will never be enough.

That is a God-damned lie. You may believe it, but that doesn't make it any less a lie.
If you do believe it, that doesn't say anything good about you.
If you don't believe it, but spout it anyway, that says much more--even worse--about you.
See all the hate in this country? As we're at each other's throats 24/7?
Just read that transcript again. Obama not only built it, he's adding on.
Powerful call to arms - Howard
Careful what you wish for, boy. You just might get it.
"Such eloquence and strength delivered impeccably. That is what a President sounds like."
Exactly. Alas, that's all it ever was. Hustler needs a spiel.
Helluva thing... Divider-in-Chief ends his second term and spends his retirement as an overeager gas station attendant.
Phony, narrow-assed Corksoaker!
Powerful call to arms
More like a powerful call to Jergens and Kleenex for you, Howeeeeee
When Red Diaper Barry speaks at such an event, where do they place the teleprompter?
Did Obama just criticism the rioting? Can be taken either way I guess. He is certainly right that democracy is fragile. There is violence and anarchy in the human heart that resists rules and order. It is not pretty if it gets loose. The rioters today have no objective but destruction--it is basicly an insurrection.

Sadly you can rest assured this won't be the last time that sentiment is written down. He is like MoaJackets in that they both never met a microphone they didn't go down on.
Prof. Althouse - after hearing this from President Obama, do you ever reconsider your vote for him? I didnt follow you at the time, so I'm not sure how or if you described or debated your own vote, or of it was simply a wholehearted vote of support.
I voted for Bill Clinton the first time, but by 1996 realized it was a mistake - he wasn't really some "new democrat" trying to find a real middle way, but just another sleazy politician. Didn't consider him particularly corrupt, though I had serious doubts about Hillary. I felt duped, but didn't excuse my own shortsighted-ness.
I guess I don't really expect a public answer - there would be too much "crowing" here from some commenters, but just wondering...
Obama red-pilled me.
If we really judged people by the content of their character a whole bunch of the current crop of politicians and public employees would be in trouble.
"Looking forward to the Cain funeral eulogy?"
You don't get the same level of respect from politicians if you work hard, build things, employ people, and pay taxes. You need to be part of the taker club who talk and accuse and and talk and lie and collect taxes. If life was fair, we would say that Lewis already got more than he deserved, and Cain is owed a debt.
What did Obama do to deserve most admired man to anyone other than his family?

Well that can happen when one is judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin.
What did John Lewis really do? And try not to say as a politician he "he fought" for something. That really means nothing, but talking, lying, and deal making. If someone in fighting trim like Nadler can do it, it's not fighting.
Alveda King has the right take on the racist divider in chief.
Obama’s speech at the funeral was something Trump could never have given.
Yeah. Trump would've talked about the deceased instead of throwing racist bombs at half the nation.
Such a lovely man.
Of course he’s in message and agitating for mail-in voting. The Dems whatever else they are remain highly disciplined with their messaging. The rest of his speech was standard Obama straw man takedowns and stoke of racial grievance, but this mail-in voting plug, especially at a mass gathering, is fighting words.
I’m certain this photo is being widely circulated.
People are getting a tiny bit peeved about public displays of two sets of rules, one for the oh so important people and one for the commoners.
To put it another, they’re getting awfully damned tired of being treated like commoners rather than responsible citizens of a republic. Each display like this drives more people away from the Democrat party. They don’t have to vote for Trump, staying home on Election Day will be enough.
Apparently Election Day autocorrects to capital letters... Let’s check something else- white people, nope. How about black people. Nope, not yet.
I never liked that guy. Gotta day, he’s one of the best I’ve ever seen at lying with a straight face.
I can’t wait to piss on his grave. The sooner the better.
Inga writes: "Obama’s speech at the funeral was something Trump could never have given. Such eloquence and strength delivered impeccably. That is what a President sounds like."
You mean like a statist Red Diaper Baby?
LOL - really we are judged by the content of our character. The most divisive President in the history of the USA and soon to be outed as breaking more laws in his quest to change the USA, and against people like President Trump and General Flynn. Only God knows who else!
Reminds me of the hatred of Republicans for FDR. Didn't phase him either.
Everyone's favorite "light skinned African-American" "with no negro dialect unless he wanted one", like here.
But still "articulate..and clean, a storybook, man."
FYI: The fillibuster is raaaaaaacist.
