When black lives matter just as much as others, then we will have the oneness that the Dalai Lama spoke about.

Gospace said...: Something I've long pointed out. When I was in grade school, school Scouts, Church, all institutions, taught that. We were all the same. Sameness was emphasized and taught, not differences.

Fear of different is hardwired into the human brain at birth. It's necessary for survival in the world. Especially the world of old. Used to all the men with beards? Clean shaven Cossacks ride through? RUN AND HIDE! Used to seeing dos around. This big cat shows up in the middle of the road. RUN AND HIDE! One of the big problems with Disney films of old is that too many thought the depictions of peaceful populated by peaceful animals was real. It isn't. Nature, when you're out in it, is trying to kill you.
