@Althouse, can you explain why liberals emote all over people who claim to be stealing in order to feed their familIes, but come down like a ton of bricks on people who want to reopen their businesses so that they can work to feed their families?

This is why most here use alias's, and why I personally admire those who don't.

Sadly, there are people who hope this woman and everyone else at the bar get sick.

So long as she is not o your walking trail and unable to pass more than six feet away?

Very strange. I hope that everyone stays perfectly healthy.

“...Koutski said at the time, telling the outlet that she didn't think being at the bar presented a greater risk than going to a grocery store.”

As a nurse, this comment is what got her into trouble. How could she have said something like this with her training? As a nurse she should’ve known that sitting in a crowded bar unmasked is far more risky than hoping to a grocery store. She showed poor judgment as a healthcare professional and no doubt Aurora read her the riot act for making them look like they have a nurse in their employ that is either stupid or drunk and making comments that reflect badly on them for employing her. They know they need to let their patients know it’s safe to come to their clinics and hospitals.

If she contracted Covid and continued to work with patients she could’ve infected how many, who knows. Luckily she was filmed and her employer has her in a two week quarantine now, so won’t be infecting her patients at least if she would become ill herself.

Hey, if you don't want to go to that bar, don't go to that bar. And if you don't want to be around anyone who went there, tell your friends and family up front.

Notice how some people are all for privacy when it comes to killing what some others consider to be a baby, because those other people should butt out, but hate privacy in almost every other sphere and feel perfectly right in dictating to everybody else?

Love Inga. Now all nurses MUST be under strict quarantine in their personal lives because they might contact ANY illness if they go anywhere but sanitized areas. Not just Covid - but the flu or you make it - you do know those can be fatal too?

The new left - only the vestal virgins of hygiene may now walk among us, but woe if they enter any area where corruption might be present. Sounds a lot like the Mutawah mentality in the Middle East - we know how you MUST live your life.

Comrades - you will conform in KarenCamp!

Yeah..looks jam packed, alright.
Probably helping her sister because normal staff stayed home milking the $600 UI bonus instead.
Good luck to the tracers tasked to chased down 'stallis bar folk.

She should be smarter than to put herself on camera.
But then..there's plenty of dumb nurses.

I just want to highlight that Inga's stupidity mirror's her concomitant desire to destroy people she hates and have the power over other people to do so.

These people are inimical to a free society.

This Nazi bullshit needs to end.

The same people that are harassing and attacking small business owners are cheering the Governor of New York who is responsible for thousands of people in Nursing Homes being infected and dying.

They have no choice but to keep attacking because Obama and the entire deep state cabal is going to be pushed under the bus shortly.

These same Nazi reporters attacking citizens were a part of the russia hoax fraud and will go down with it.

Inga is lecturing people on being drunk and stupid?

That's fucking hilarious.

What? A Flatlander?
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — A northern Illinois nurse expressed regret Friday for not taking better precautions while visiting her sister’s Wisconsin bar after the Supreme Court overturned the state’s “Safer at Home” order.Katie Koutsky, a nurse with the Downers Grove-based Advocate Aurora Health system, says she was helping her sister reopen her suburban Milwaukee bar Wednesday when she was interviewed by a local television station.

Serious Question?

IF she get Covid, HOW would we know that she got it from the bar, and not the grocery store?
Or, are we just charging her with CrimeThink?

Could you give a link? that shows that 10 min in a bar is worse than 30 min in grocery?

So,
there's 5,317 active cases in your state 5.8 MILLION
there were 453 deaths, TOTAL... out of 5.8 MILLION
and, people shouldn't go out?
serious question... ARE YOU ALL FUCKING INSANE?

FullMoon said...

Must be a national count of dead nurses and doctors somewhere. Probably tens of thousands. Maybe even more.
Anybody got a link?

Fuck you, Inga. That is the appropriate response for you supporting this sort of harassment. You really should be ashamed.

Okay, it’s 2020, so scratch that “everybody knows your name” part.

Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got;
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?

Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to be where you can see,
Our troubles are all the same;
You want to be where everybody knows your name.

What will it take for us to stand up to the media packs that can’t tell the difference between feelings and facts? When a stranger says “you hurt my feelings with that thing you did that had nothing to do with me,” those hurt feelings are a choice and you are not responsible for other people’s choices.

I've had the similar experience with people I've known since high school. In their world my rantings against lockdown makes me so selfish and totally inconsiderate of other's health. This is madness. Sheer madness. Any guesses as to the next panic/lockdown? Guess this is justified by a living constitution. It's good to be old!

Typical Inga. The bar was reopening legally because the government determined it would be safe. Do you have evidence that what she did was unsafe?

She said she could, because she's a Bible scholar and has read it cover to cover, but she won't, because she hates God and wants Him to die, so she may have studied the Bible, but she's not about to learn anything from it, God forbid. Here, I believe, is your relevant passage:

JPS Old Testament (1917)
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that change darkness into light, and light into darkness; that change bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter!

I would like to know also, I keep hearing about doctors and nurses dying every day and I'm selfish if I want to go out. This seems like an oft repeated line, but no one brings forth the evidence to support it. Have a few nurses and doctors died? I'm sure of it, but if they were dying off in large numbers you think we would have heard something. Also, with everyone going to the walmarts, and targets, and home depots of the world, wouldn't there be a die off of workers from those stores?

Gilbar, she crossed the border from the Chicago area, where they have a lot more cases than we do, by a lot.

Of you are going to call people stupid, be sure to read the whole story.

It's a strange disease that will kill you if you go to church, but skips over the big box store employees.

Yes it does seem that someone who has been willing to take on risk to serve strangers should be allowed to take on risk to help her sister.

I realized the inequity of this early on when we had friends who needed to sell their house, but in my state real estate was not essential business. The woman of the couple worked at a grocery story. So she was working with the public to suit the public's need, but wasn't allowed to take the lesser risk of having people in her home to serve her need.

At one point I had heard -- this was maybe 10 days ago -- that there were zero COVID cases shown to have affected health care workers in Hospitals that came from patients in the hospital. (In Wisconsin). This was about the time I read somewhere that the Madison cases were European in source whereas the Milwaukee ones were Asian. (That surprised me).

This here is the shit that Milan Kundera tried to warn us against.

It's a page out of his anticommunist novel, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, right down to the coerced formal statement of apology.

The difference is that in the novel, and in the movie, Tomas refused to sign, and so the doctor was reassigned to washing windows in the very hospital he used to work in order to humiliate him.

This nurse needed her job, and so she had to sign. But she did nothing wrong.

But the powers that be decided to go out of their way to humiliate her.

Happy-face fascists like Inga and her fellow informants and enablers can go suck rocks.

By the way, Inga, you intellectually dishonest Stasi hack: That bar was hardly "crowded." That's your own garbage invention. They were able to get a good audio feed no problem inside the bar. They didn't have to go outside to conduct the interview.

Remember all those commenters telling us that the people who voted or protested were all gonna die and/or infect everyone? How'd that work out??? It's amazing to me the lengths people will go to to convince themselves they were right against overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Anyone know of any programs we can initiate that will help people overcome the MSM propaganda that is obviously working on the Blue side of our country??

Yep.
Like millions of others, I saw videos of armies of Chinese in hazmats going down the streets and spraying disinfectant like firemen putting out a fire. People dragged off and locked up for the safety of the country. Lockdown of entire cities. Stories about bats and virus. Then, Italy getting wiped out. Bodies piled up.

Never paid much attention to ebola and all the others. When it got here, I was convinced it might be bad, but was hyped up. Told people if it was that scary, govt would close the schools. When schools closed, I became concerned.

Comments here around that time ranged from "no worse than any other bad flu" to "gonna kill everybody". Like most, I was in middle. Stay away from sick people and be careful. Had no quarrel with alarmists. Lock yourself up, I don't care.

Then, began noticing that the claims of mass death were not coming true. I mean, the "catch it and die" was not happening. News of a dozen local firefighters testing positive, forty TSA people at airport exposed. None of them died.

Supermarket workers not dropping dead. Virus not slaying entire household when one person is positive.

Then, more evidence of elderly, especially with another condition , being most likely. Followed by assisted living deaths. Assisted living ranges from competent but maybe wheelchair bound to being spoon fed. So, assume most there were in bad shape.

Lately, evidence of fudging the numbers.

Now, I am still careful, but not believing you can catch it from breathing the air in my backyard, or from handling canned goods or groceries. Wash my hands when I get home.

Have to wear a mask shopping but feel no need while walking or driving. Naturally,if I am walking and see someone nearby wearing a mask, I will move and avoid that person as a courtesy.

Not sure if this will end up being same as the other bad flues but for me, not nearly as concerned as I was in the beginning. Will be hard to compare to previous due to so much contradictory info.

Almost as bad as the flu deaths is the hope among too many that it does indeed turn out to be catastrophic.

Even here, some commenters are hoping for more death in order to prove their prediction correct. These poor souls will claim, and possibly believe, they want no more deaths but they gleefully post every bit of seemingly bad news and attempt to counter any good news.
