Hotair, PJ Media, and a few other websites are literally ones I seek to avoid nowadays. And I'm an avid consumer of "right" news sources.
On the flip side, if anyone here reads CNN.com have you noticed their near daily major articles attacking Fox News? I've never before seen one mainstream media source attack one of the largest other mainstream media sources so adamantly and frequently. And without any recognition of self-awareness, conflict of interest, etc.
P.S. I avoid PJ media but still love instapundit for Glenn R. and one or two of his posters. I meant I avoid PJ media's main site or PJ media driven news articles.
Hot Air has become a weird place long after Michelle Malkin sold it off to Townhall.com. They love misleading headlines and anti-Trump propaganda. Lately they've been on an anti-HQL tirade like the rest of the MSM trying to find a way to blame Trump for any death and disease they can.
There's no reason to click through. Everything you need to see about the model is in that picture.

But their model still predicts an ultimate death toll of 11,940 at end of May for New York City. 0.13% of the population will die in a span of two months! That is a terrible price to pay for herd immunity (undoubtedly, NYC will be near herd immunity at end of outbreak).

Yep. The dispatch and Washington Examiner are also funded by the Liberal/Left. Who is funding the American "Conservative" is a mystery. National Review is now getting $$$ from Google and Facebook, one reason they're so unconcerned about Conservatives being deplatformed.

People aren't dying from COVID-19 because clinical research is so slow. People are dying from COVID-19 because it's an incredibly infectious NOVEL virus with never before seen pathology and characteristics, with no known therapies that treat it, and with the emergence of a global pandemic less than 2 months ago (bear in mind WHO declared it a global pandemic ~5 weeks ago).
In the middle of that, all clinical research globally (about a $70 billion/year industry) was disrupted because it typically requires patients to visit physician offices and research monitors to go on site and ensure the research is being done appropriately.
Meanwhile, that $70 billion dollar industry just spun on a dime and launched 100 new research studies into a variety of therapies and vaccines BEFORE THE VIRUS IS EVEN WELL UNDERSTOOD.
So, please, don't blame the very industry and people our society is now relying upon to help us get past this mess. My industry has sooo much wrong with it, but I've never been prouder of what I've seen it do in the last month.

That’s the trouble with being a mathematician. I always assumed that the headline referred to the mathematical model Sweden was using to justify their “herd immunity” policy.
In my job I work with models for forecasting all the time. Super models even.
Now I kind of wish there were a story with a fashion model's thoughts on COVID-19. Why not? They're currently trying to churn out as much COVID news as possible because it gets the clicks.
Hot Air is still a thing? Last I checked, it was filled to the gunwales with a bunch of NeverTrumper assholes. Sad. It used to be a decent site.
