Trump's tweeting the morning after Super Tuesday are so touchingly pro-Bernie.

It’s a solid dig at Warren. Finished third in her own state.

May be trolling, but it's an entirely accurate hot take on the political moment too.

That's some epic concern trolling.

It would be a boring world without President Trump!!

Trump is playing the long game. Who else is going to point out how Warren is the spoiler purposely staying in to draw from Bernie? The fucking Media? They couldn’t report this contest straightforwardly if their very lives depended on it.

Kennedy wanted to run against Goldwater in 1964. It would have been a good test of ideology.

Trump would like to run against Bernie for the same reason.

We still don't know if Biden can keep it together long enough to finish a campaign.

Lucid-Ideas said...

So his original tweet, 'her chance is 1/1024th' is true?

I'm impressed. Trump's tweets are right up there with that Octopus that predicts the outcome of championship soccer.

Boy. Moderation sure takes the spontaneity out of the comments doesn’t it?

Many of the states Biden won, however, are red states where he will lose to Trump in November.

Trump is trying to keep the Bernie betrayal it front of his followers in case Bernie starts eyeing Malibu beachfront. Divide and conquer.

you come in third, in your own state's primary, what good are you?

One can turn it around, and say why didn't Bernie drop out - and let Warren be the progressive candidate. Bernie never had a chance, because blacks didn't like him, and neither did anti-communists, and Southerners. Warren has the same policies, without Bernie's baggage. If you look at the numbers, Bernie is getting fewer votes then he did in 2016.

And what can you say about Bloomberg getting 20% of the vote? Damn people are stupid, voting on the basis of TV commercial. Of course, we're talking about Democrats.

Stirring the soup.

"what good are you?"

The object is not so much, to win, it's to prostitute yourself to place in a contest that pays millions to each candidates. (not to mention book deals)

Plus, they don't have to sit in their low-bidder Senate chair sucking their thumbs.

Warren promised to stay in the race through the convention. Will she keep that promise, unlike the PAC promise?

That’s why Bernie should stay in. Biden is just a moment at any time away from a spontaneous and spectacular mistake, and he WILL make it. There’s no way he’ll make it through.

Lucid-Ideas said...

I really really super duper want the four of them on that stage in Waukie shouting at each other.

Please god, I don't ask for much. Please let this happen and let one of them get Corona but be asymptomatic before the debate.

Mr. Groovington said...

My first hunch is he gets brain freeze at some point and is unable to recover, asking “for a moment” to resume that goes on unforgivably long. That’s the best case failure. I can think of worse things he could do or say, and more likely. Something suicidal is coming.

Anyone want to disagree with a $100 bet? First taker only.

Hillary will be Bidens VP. That's the only way she can become President, and you just know she wants it badly.

So what are the TrumpWorld rules on when Sanders is addressed as "Bernie" and when he is "Crazy Bernie"?

I think it has to do with threat level assessment.

Biden is about to become the target of Trump's tweets and Trump's rally humor. I expect Joe to respond with a call for daily pushup contests.

Soon Trump will pick up the campaign pace. Joe appears to be another Hillary in terms of endurance and hardiness.

And then there will be the debates.

JAORE said...

There are plenty of examples of Biden's decline out there already. Apparently the message that Bernie might cost the D's the House got through.

And Orange Man Bad - Must Go! is so strong that they don't care.

Biden could break into Pig Latin for 10 minutes in his next speech and the MSM would say he's broadening the appeal to the Italian community.

IIRC our hostess said the Charlottesville lie was disqualifying for Joe. He's repeated that since. Yet "cruel neutrality" apparently means Joe has re-qualified because...?

Ray said...

"And then there will be the debates."

Trump should schedule the debates on the West Coast. While Trump seems to thrive without sleep, Joe appears to have some degree of sun-downers. I wonder if they have tried adderall?

Whatever upsets you and the marxist left the most at that moment.

Not complicated.

Drago said...

BTW Chuck, "TrumpWorld" represents about 97% of the republican party as well as a sizeable chunk of democrats and a growing % of minority voters.

What are you and the dems going to do about that to get your boy Biden over the line?

LOL

Of course it's "baby talk". Trump's talking to Democrat supporters, and therefore taking the words down to the appropriate level.

One can turn it around, and say why didn't Bernie drop out - and let Warren be the progressive candidate.

Well, you can start with the fact that Wall Street Democrat donors were telling the DNC they'd sit out 2020 if Warren were at teh top of the ticket.

Then you can go to the fact that she's a pathological liar, who solely got her position at Harvard Law because she lied and pretended she was Cherokee (Chow Wow Pow) ring any bells here?

And yes, she lied. Which is why she stopped claiming to be "Native American" as soon as she got tenure at Harvard.

Then you can look at the fact that, once voters got a quick look at her, they dumped her and never looked back.

It's pretty clear that Warren is doing to Bernie what Rubio and Kasich did to Cruz in 2016: staying in long after it's obvious they have no chance, just to suck voters away from the other one

Yancey Ward said...

Greg,

A case can be made that maybe Rubio stayed in too long in 2016 and hurt Cruz, but I doubt even that is actually valid- Kasich cost Trump more votes than he did Cruz.

Rosalyn C. said...

A watershed moment. Now if Dr. Jill can keep Joe healthy long enough to get to Nov. 3, we can re-elect Trump and get on with KAG. Thank you Democrats for averting a civil war.

Greg the class traitor said...

Yancey,

Take a look at TX and ID in 2016. Rubio just barely kept Cruz under 50% in a lot of places where if Cruz had been above 60% he would have gotten al the delegates, but instead Trump collected a bunch.

Those delegates are what pushed Trump over the top and forced Cruz out before CA

And given the way that Cruz was getting his people appointed as "Trump delegates", if Trump hadn't had a 1st round win, Cruz would have won

As for Kasich. I don't know that anyone knows who Kasich really was taking from. What I do know is that Kasich had no hope at all, but stayed in until Cruz did.

Because to the GOP Establishment "I'd rather lose with Trump than win with Cruz"

Amidst all the competing voices so far in the primary, Joe's gaffs have all been part of the background noise. If he becomes the nominee, all the attention goes to his every word. The mainstream media can't cover because social media will turn every gaff into a meme.

Bay Area Guy said...

Has Bernie spoken up since he was politically and repeatedly sodomized by the Democrat Party apparatus last night? He might still be a bit sore (no pun intended) from Super Tuesday.

Yancey Ward said...

Greg,

For what it is worth, I voted for Cruz in the TN primary, but I fully recognize that Cruz would have lost to Hillary- Cruz would have carried none of the midwest states except, maybe, Ohio against Clinton. It is possible that Cruz might have won Virginia, but I doubt it.

The choice in 2016 was win with Trump or lose with anyone else.

Yancey Ward said...

It takes time and a lot of Preparation H to recover from what was done last night to Bernie.

FullMoon said...

Those tweets are brilliant. Bernie bros are pissed off, as usual. Trump empathizes and feeds their anger. Young voters for the most part will believe it doesn't matter who wins now, nothing will change. So, who they gonna vote for,if they even bother to vote, Trump, who agrees that Bernie was cheated, or Biden who represents the party that fucked Bernie, again?

Greg the class traitor said...

Yancey Ward said...

The expectation all year long was "win with Cruz, Trump would obviously lose in the General", which is why the Democrats wanted him against the unlikable and corrupt Hillary.

Was that wrong? Possibly. But Cruz could have lost the States that Trump won by 100k votes, and instead won NV and NH (lost by < 30j votes), and still won the election.

Possibly with a Democrat controlled Senate, possibly w/ GOP Senate wins in NH & NV.

I don't know. I don't think anyone knows.

But I do know the expectation in early 2016 was that Trump was a guaranteed General Election loser

So true!

Also agree with Greg the Class Traitor @ 10:03am and I think Warren is staying in for 2 reasons:
1. She hates Bernie, as per her irritation with his comment that a woman cannot win the presidency and her refusal to shake his hand after debates; and
2. She knows her staying in the race continues to hurt Bernie and help Biden, thus winning her favors with the Obamas/Clintons and leaders of the Dem party. She knows she doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell to win, but hey, why not stay in and hurt Bernie. The DNC is terrified that Bernie will get the nomination so she is positioning herself to look good to the DNC machine. Warren can go back to her Senate seat after this is over, so there really is no harm to her staying in as long as she can.

As for Biden, I don't think he will pick Hillary as a running mate. Biden will pick someone that will help him win voters he cannot get on his own. Julian Castro? Kamala Harris? Stacy Abrams?

"Touchingly" is the wrong adverb to use when our president only has emotion for himself alone and lies for his obedient fans.

"Tongue-in-cheek" works better since Bozo obviously gets a personal thrill from his really dumb put-downs aimed at those on his long enemies list.
