4-Chan proved that they made up the stuff about Russian hookers peeing on Obama's mattress the first time those words appeared in the Press. The Press ignored the proof and pretended that it was discovered by intelligence agencies. John McCain and Hillary paid big money for reports recycling 4-Chan trolling.

Hey, Hey, Ho Ho Schiff's gotta go.

After today's revelations of Schiff's relationship with wealthy Russian-American businessman Igor Paternak and Schiff's flip-flop on aid & arms to the Ukraine; Schiff must recuse himself.

Et Tu? Nancy?

Mike (MJB Wolf) said...

I’m telling you, Schiff is saving Nancy’s ass (for now) by completely blowing the fake impeachment, proving the Demonrats would surely blow a real one too. However this will give Nancypants a chance to tell the rabid progs “we tried impeachment but ya’ll will have to beat Trump at the ballot box.” Her puppetmasters in the media will cry but really if AOC is “over it!” there’ll just not be any energy for more fake investigations.

Is Santa Barbara in Schifty's district? One of the prettiest cities in Cali & the entire US. Gotta check out the wharf, the courthouse the Mission, and the hills. Used to be a Republican stronghold, too. Reagan had his ranch up there.

Great college there too.

Congressman Adam Schiff: I'm shocked that there is foreign influence in our elections.

If I didn't know how true blue California was I could still tell you Schiff comes from a district that is absolutely safe "D" seat, overwhelmingly hard left and a mother lode of TDS sufferers.

No other situation would result in such a hacktastic creep to be reelected.

California's 24th congressional district is represented by Salud Carbajal. Following redistricting, the district contains all of Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County as well as the Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County.

{sorry Prof, i should have stuck this in my last post}

California's 28th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California, in Los Angeles County. The district is regarded as a Democratic stronghold[4] and is currently represented by Democrat Adam Schiff.

The district includes West Hollywood, Burbank, parts of Pasadena, Glendale, the Verdugo Hills communities of Sunland and Tujunga, as well as parts of central Los Angeles including Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Los Feliz

Flyover Man: I hope you've realized by now that Hillary's campaign used foreign intelligence services to manufacture and disseminate dirt on Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign. It's s good thing she wasn't elected in 2016. I don’t see how you can deny the facts in front of your face.

Urban Guy: I've looked into that over and over. ABC, NBC, NPR, WaPo, NYT all agree that Hillary's involvement isn't worth attention whereas it's fact that Trump colluded with Russia, I mean that he's a racist at best, probably a white supremacist. I feel compelled to focus on that as the big picture. See, the big picture is this: Hillary and Bill are, well, snakes? But she's the only one the Democrats ran in 2016. And Trump colluded with Russia, I mean, is a racist, so I made a deal with the devil, and you’d have made it too, if you weren't a deplorable. And now he's being impeached while Hillary is doing a comeback. If inferior people like you are unable to acknowledge my dignity and and see your problems, well, that's why we fly over where you live and what you think.

Flyover Man: The big picture? The big picture is that Trump said something could be done about the economy if we had better trade deals, deregulated and reduced taxes. He said we should control our borders so that immigrants did not undercut wages. He promised to appoint judges who respected the Constitution. No man is above the law but there are Supreme Court judges who think they are. He promised to drain the swamp in DC. We can’t live in a country in which our leaders flagrantly take bribes through their children or their husbands or wives and nothing happens unless they are investigated; and then it happens to the investigators.

And when Trump came to power he began to carry out the program he promised. And now the country is far more prosperous. And you are hoping for a crash so we'll be poor again. Don't think we don't know it. Thing called the internet, what's whispered in DC, is heard in Peoria. And your burning wish to see us all poor is known there and isn't playing well there.

Just after the election when people like you were briefly curious about people like me. And then you might have found out all this. It didn’t take you long to lose interest in all that. Now we’re just a block of concrete obstructing your drive for power.

Urban Guy: You are a block of concrete. You can't seem to realize that his daily outrages undermine norms, spread xenophobia, degrade public morality.

Flyover Man: That's Twitter talking. Get some insight. Trump isn't causing a breakdown in public morality. Let me remind you that Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein would be honored and respected and visiting the White House if your candidate had won. And beyond in America, hard left insanity would be being enforced. Free speech denounced. Masked mobs beating people up. Taking guns, cars, furnaces, air conditioning, food grown fifty miles beyond where you live. Honestly, don't you realize that the food you urbies eat comes from thousands of miles away. And doesn't grow in winter. And that it's cold in winter in half the US, sometimes so cold that you would die in half an hour without heat? And it's cloudy for days and you want those people to rely on solar power? And that's not to mention the problems existing already thanks to social engineering by dummies. The breakdown of families up and down my block. Children out of wedlock. Young men with no dad when they’re young and no wife in their life when they’re grown. An Ivy League elite running government and the economy for itself and shutting out those of us who actually make things with our hands. And, China is replacing us.

Is there anything more seditious than have the establishment made complete fools of by merry pranksters at 4 chan? Besides this pee gate"coup" they also invented the "O.K sign" being a super secret white supremacy signal.

Both times the credulous media dopes fell for it without ever bothering to check. And asking your other brain dead media lizard at the bar if it's true doesn't count folks. Ben Rhodes: “Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”

wildswan said...

UG: I’m happy to talk about these big problems.

FM: Like hell you are. The media fixates on scandals because they’re easier to talk about than complex issues like why urban and rural America are drifting further apart. You wasted billions of hours speculating about the Mueller report, and now news about Adam Schiff overshadows everything else while my world burns. Let’s face it: Bashing Trump is the media’s business model. That’s what drives eyeballs and profit. But Trump is doing real things for the economy and for minorities. His economy has created 7 million new jobs and he's working to create a manufacturing sector with good manufacturing jobs again and he's trying to keep illegal immigrants away from whatever jobs exist at the moment. Here’s a confession. I wondered if Trump would stand and deliver. Now, after three years of battle, I see him as my captain. He deserves my loyalty, thick and thin.

UG: You and Trump are both fucked up bigots.

FM. And call me any name you like, I realize that's all you've got.

From the New York Times:

For more than a week, President Trump had been hurling unfounded accusations about Mr. Biden, his son Hunter and their dealings in Ukraine.

AND YET....

But Mr. Biden also sought to address the attacks on his son on his own terms rather than sit for hastily arranged television interviews that would have forced him to answer questions about Hunter Biden’s work that few of his own aides dared pose.

....

Still, Mr. Biden’s advisers are aware that Hunter Biden carries political vulnerabilities. His business career has intersected repeatedly with his father’s political power, through roles he had held in banking, lobbying and international finance. Working for a Ukrainian energy company beginning in 2014, he was paid as much as $50,000 a month while his father was vice president, and some of Mr. Biden’s admirers worry that, while Mr. Trump’s accusations are without merit, voters may view Hunter Biden’s actions as problematic.

Ctrl-F “China” turns up nothing, which is strange, that seems germane.

This should be reported as an in-kind contribution to the Biden campaign.

Coffee (Batangas barako) and Althouse in the am.

Re Flyover Man - this is a familiar conversation. My role, of course, was something like Flyover Man's attorney. It is remarkable how impenetrably parochial people can be when their interests, as they see them, are at stake. I could explain ultra-Catholic monarchist Carlists and their fight for the fueros, and get a sympathetic ear; I can describe myself as a monarchist and a supporter of the Inquisition, and they don't flee; but their own countrymen, even the plumber or electrician they blithely invite into their homes, no, that fellow has no existence as an individual with his own point of view.

tim in vermont said...

The whole Hunter Biden thing reminds me of when John Kerry got caught avoiding $500K in sales tax on his yacht to the state of Massachusetts, which he represented in the Senate, by pretending that he kept it in Rhode Island. His response was that his critics "didn’t understand finance.” You have to say that in a Thurston Howell III voice.

The entitlement of these people, that Biden thinks Air Force 2 was there to lend credibility to his son’s business ventures. It doesn’t matter what he claims to have been thinking, the conflict of interest is clear. He says “there was no conflict of interest” but that would be a good fact check for Politifact. Let’s see the WaPo spin that. Maybe Biden is just too ignorant to be president?

The entire hack press are going with "Unfounded!" accusations against the Biden father and son duo. How did the media determine the accusations are "Unfounded"?
No investigation whatsoever. Just boom - the guy is a D, the allegations are "unfounded" - even with real journalists racked up stacks of proof.

See here.

Solomon: These once-secret memos cast doubt on Joe Biden's Ukraine story

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Peter Schweizer: Biden Ukraine dealings – 7 essential facts

1. Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, joined the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma in April 2014, according to RSB bank records. Hunter Biden had little background in energy. Over a 16-month period, Burisma paid $3.1 million to a bank account associated with Hunter’s business.
2. Joe Biden led the Obama administration’s policy toward Ukraine when he served as vice president. Biden helped shape Ukraine’s energy and anti-corruption policies, issues that directly impact Burisma.
3. Burisma sought to capitalize Hunter Biden’s name and relationships. According to The New York Times, Hunter Biden helped assemble the company’s legal team, which consisted of American attorneys and consulting firms, including a former Obama Justice Department official.
4. Burisma is led by an oligarch named Mykola Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky served as ecology minister under pro-Russia former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovich, leading to allegations that he used his office to benefit Burisma.
5. Burisma was under legal scrutiny. Shortly before Hunter Biden was appointed to Burisma’s board, British authorities froze $23 million of Zlochevsky’s assets as part of a corruption investigation. Ukraine opened its own probe later that year.
6. Financial records from Morgan Stanley show numerous lines of money going into the account of “Robert H. Biden.” The funds originated from oligarchs and anonymous LLCs in Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan and elsewhere.
7. In 2013, then-Vice President Biden and his son Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Ten days later, Hunter Biden’s firm scored a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China.

The Nation gets it... Yes, that The Nation

It is also unclear from the transcript what exactly Trump wants Zelensky to do. The president’s rambling leaves room for ambiguity. On the Biden front, Trump tells Zelensky that “whatever you can do with the Attorney General [William Barr] would be great” and also asks him to “look into it.” But Barr says that he and Trump never spoke about investigating Biden or contacting Ukraine; Zelensky says that he did not feel any pressure to investigate Biden; and “look into it” can be interpreted in ways ranging from damning to benign.

Moreover, Trump’s foremost concern—and the object of the “favor” he asks Zelensky—is not Biden, but securing the Ukrainian president’s assistance with Barr’s review of the origins of the Russia investigation. Although he may be incoherent, Trump is within his rights to ask for Ukraine’s cooperation. As Lev Golinkin noted in The Nation, Ukrainian officials meddled in the 2016 election, with the explicit aim of hurting Trump’s candidacy, by leaking damaging information about Paul Manafort.
