"So you (and your boobs) stay comfortable while you run."

Well, I am uncomfortable with this one boob who is emailing me too much while he runs:

ADDED: Oh, I see. I'm a press outlet. But only to Cory Booker. I'm getting press releases. Example:

Cory Booker Highlights Plan to Confront Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence in America

Newark, NJ — Tonight on the debate stage, Cory Booker highlighted his plan to confront hate crimes and white supremacy in America.

Cory’s plan would create a new White House Office on Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence charged with coordinating federal agencies and community voices to improve the federal and local response to threats, address the ways in which hate spreads online, and provide support to communities and victims of hate crimes.

In addition to the White House office, Cory will also create an external advisory group of community stakeholders impacted by hate crimes to share information with and advise the White House, Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Homeland Security officials working to investigate and address hate crimes.

Cory’s plan to confront hate crimes and white supremacy builds on his sweeping gun violence prevention plan — the most sweeping put forth by a presidential candidate — that would limit those intent on committing hate crimes from accessing guns. Since putting forward his proposal for a federal gun licensing system in May, six candidates for president have followed suit — fundamentally reshaping the debate around gun violence in America.

Last month, Cory delivered a major speech at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC on gun violence and the rising tide of hatred and white nationalism in America.

Funny how bold commands to the Deplorables to surrender all of their weapons and march off into Re-education Camp Cattle cars, or else, only makes sense to the World Socialist Supremacists who also plan to loot the place while we are being slowly exterminated.

If you give the people a light, they will follow it anywhere.
AND
If you push something hard enough, it will fall over.
AND
If you dig a deep enough hole, everyone will want to jump into it.

These appear to be the principles of the Democratic party in this campaign (not to mention Principal Poop of More Science High.)

Yes, the Firesign Theater is ready for a comeback.

(Get thee hence!! Just a little dispute with my co-pilot.)

White House Office on Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence...

Nonsense! This needs to be a cabinet level Secretary position. Build a new million square foot office building inside the Beltway and staff it with thousands of taxpayer paid employees.

In addition, there needs to be hundreds of field offices established across the nation (with twice as many in those evil red states) staffed with thousands more taxpayer paid employees. Then, and only then, can we say we've made a start in dealing with this issue!

That tells me Booker is now trying to position himself for the VP slot.

Optically, it'd be difficult for a black candidate promising to create a new "White House Office on Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence".

The only way it makes any sense is as a second-fiddle VP candidate offering the eventual white nominee balance and credibility on the issue.

And who better than VP Booker to staff that new White House office?

But what does Booker really bring to the table as far as the minority vote in exchange for his stupidity and divisiveness?

FullMoon said...

Dems all about how Trump has divided the country, while they pit minorities against "white supremacy" every day.

Booker sure is not an advertisement for a Stanford degree.

It's interesting that Susan Rice's son is president pf the Stanford Young Republicans.

I wonder what changed his mind from Booker's and his mother's?.

My grandson's high school teacher told his class, "You are the conservative revolution." Hmmm.

What is "a Hate Crime"?
What is "intent on committing a hate crime"?

Isn't wanting to restrict Immigration a "Hate crime"? Isn't supporting the NRA a "hate crime"? Isn't Trump a "White Supremacist" and therefore "intent on committing" hate crimes? After what do "Haters" do?

Booker is one crazy Leftist.

The chilling thing there is that Booker would criminalize being white or preferring Judeo-Christian culture over that of Muslim culture, European culture over African culture, etc. Currently, actual physical violence by the right is almost non existent, esp in contrast with Anti First Amendment (AntiFA) fascist thugs on the left. So if there is not really any White Supremacist physical violence going on right now, nor any (physical) Hate Crimes attributable to the right these days they must be talking about right wing speech being the violence and hate crimes that are triggering the left, and that means that Booker’s “White House Office on Hate Crimes and White Supremacist Violence” would essentially operate as speech and thought police, and their mandate would seemingly include preventing conservatives from communicating with each other online.

I don’t think that a lot of people have realized yet that the triggering culture in academia several years ago has morphed into the hate crimes and white supremacist violence obsession we see these days on the left, and is on display with most of the Dem Presidential candidates. And I think this intentional confusion between verbal and physical conflict is why their shock troops, their AntiFA fascist thugs, can justify the use of physical violence to respond to their triggering by those on the other side verbally confronting them.

Narr: I initially read that as "White House Office of Race and Resentment"... which would be quite a but more accurate as to its operating goals, come to think of it.

Since there really aren’t any physical hate crimes being committed these days by White Supremacists, we have to be talking about people engaging in Hate Speech, which, of course, is anything that criticizes the left. Probably more accurate to call it the “White House Office For Wrongspeak and Wrongthought Prevention”.

Narr said...

Qwinn, that's what might come to mind, but it wouldn't have quite the historical resonance.
