If Bernie Sanders wanted it enough he could use a nick name like Robert Francis O'Rourke did. Bernie could go for the black vote by using Sambo Sanders. There's a fried chicken angle in there some place.

I suspect the real notion of a Beto campaign isn't for him to be the top of the ticket, but to put on a showing to get a VP gig and, in the eyes of Democrat donors, win Texas for them.
