"I have this fascination with money...."
Check out the fabulous abode of artist, businessman and collector Arthur Beckerfull. It's full of art, including a lot of money-based art.

Yes, fabulous. But he must live a very curated life.
Gives White Privilege a bad name
Arthur Becker was married to Vera Wang. There's crossover in their esthetics.
I loved his exquisite, delicate delight at the origami birds made of bills of different denominations.
Reminded me of old cartoons that showed dollar bills with wings, flying away.
Wondered about keeping that stuff dusted.
Worried about the top-heavy ancient artifacts on open shelves. Can he have people in? What if someone got drunk and tottered over? Can't have dogs, of course.
It all made so much sense, and yet I kept thinking: Is that a good idea?
that is a really nice apartment.
"I loved his exquisite, delicate delight" I did too -- an instance of someone loving something that is quite alien to me but nonetheless makes sense, seen from their perspective.
I only liked his "Gummi" statues. Primitive art looks tacky to me.
So sweetly middle-class, to worry about dusting.
Oh look! Money vaginas! Or as he called them, roses.
So much vulgarity scattered about so much priceless history. Mixing up classy and obscenity is interesting, but geez.
all that black and grey makes it feel like a prison. pass.
"Check out the fabulous abode of businessman, collector and occasional art maker Arthur Beckerfull. It's full of art including his own personal works, which reflect his fascination with money". With my re-arrangement of your words I am professing that he is not an artist. Does that make me a professor? Really nice place in any event.
A profound and emotionally powerful example of Philistinism.
Wow! this guy has really good taste, at the same time it seems kind of sad and hollow.
@annalthouse ... "it all made so much sense ..."
It didn't make any sense. On the "BLAH BLAH BLAH" "piece" he says, "It's so contemporary because it doesn't mean anything!" Ha.
He's trying to project a false persona. The crooked candles give him away.
But the apartment will make a nice fiat currency museum some day.
