Said the terribly stupid Johnny Depp. (NYT)
I think sometimes people who are very beautiful don't get a good read of how stupid they are. It's unfair really. Unfair to the rest of us that they are so good looking, and unfair to them that they don't get normal feedback over the course of a lifetime.

@Bill Peschel, all that maybe true. However writing as a fan of Lee Child's novels, 5'7" Tom Cruise is totally wrong as 6'5" Jack Reacher. It spoils the franchise for me.
I wish everyone - no matter what party - would understand Wisconsin better. I know many - MANY - Wisconsin conservatives who are fine with the looney left national media meltdown on Trump now. They know how it ends up.
I don't even believe Trump knows what happened here in WI back in the Act 10 days. Pretty sure Preibus and Ryan and Johnson have briefed him eventually after he came here in primary and basically read Dem talking points against Walker (it happened). Who cares about Trump anyway - it's actually not the issue at all.
The issue is political violence. It happened in many ways in WI during a heated political debate. It is shocking to most Americans who can't imagine taking up arms or actions for a political issue. But the Democrats have encouraged it in many ways and especially since the WI Act 10 wars. After Trump won, I thought to myself - "Good God - the WI Union agenda has gone nationwide" - and I wasn't surprised BTW.
This is how we got Bernie - not Trump.
It's all cultural now. Hollywood and the music industry and the media and the fashion morons and the corporate PR firms and brand makers and "culture shakers and movers" are all in - every day. My hope is that we crate alternative culture shakers and movers to make it a fair debate.
Althouse is someone who does just that. Keep up your excellent work Ann. We need ya.
One more note - I joined my college colleagues in protesting the VietNam War in the late 60s...was very engaged in protests ....but Kent State and UW-Madison Bombings and the Weathermen movement back then scared the hell out of me and many I knew. We hated the war - the draft - the reason why we were there - but the political violence made me and many I knew drop out of that movement (and I had a sibling living in Canada as a Draft Dodger and he agreed things were out of control with Looney Leftists).....
Thank goodness Gerald ford pardoned draft dodgers.
And todays's SJW's would never know what that draft lottery was like in the 60s.
Sigh.
@PianoLessons, point of information. The Vietnam draft dodgers were pardoned by Jimmy Carter on his first day in office.
