Wouldn't the Trump Voter shoot at them with his beer and then take a swig from the gun?
It's absurd to jump to the conclusion that this was a DJT voter.
To be conclusive we'd need to find out what type of beer it was.
This sort of thing is why Trump will carry 45 states in 2020.
I'd have to agree, because it sounds like he was enjoying himself.

So, without even knowing why, it's assumed the shooter is a Trump voter. OK

Yeah, that seems to be a typical refrain - the lamestream media ignoring minority on white violence, while going all out on white on minority violence.

The vast majority of murders take place in areas that voted for Hillary.

More pertinent fact: Man deeply in debt, and desperate. That kind of thing knows know politics.
WaPo commenters don't consider blacks shooting other blacks as perfectly describing Hillary's base. In fact it's not even in their radar.

Suppose he was a Trump voter. So what? He's one person out of about 63 million. Does that mean anything about Trump? How about the 63 million Trump voters who did NOT shoot anyone? Do they mean anything about Trump?
This commentator has a JD and an LLM (taxation), rarely drinks, and doesn't own a gun (though is in no way opposed to getting one), and is a Trump voter.
There is more weapons grade stupid in WaPo comment sections than seems physically possible.

I assume the gay rights nutbag who shot at people in the Family Research Council HQ in DC few years ago was an Obama voter, but we didn't hear much about him. He managed to shoot a security guard in the arm before the guard took his gun away.
Thankfully, it appears that gay rights activists are bad shots.
Then there's Professor and multiple murderess Amy Bishop, a proud product of Harvard's PhD program. Althouse blogged about her in 2010, noting how the MSM somehow managed to cover the story (minimally) while ignoring the fact that Bishop was an Obama fangirl and fervent progressive.

A few points:
1. We must not rush to blame the shooter. I'm sure there's something in the backgrounds of the victims that warranted this. We must get to the bottom of this and troll through the Facebook profiles of the victims to see if there's any indication of anti-white sentiment.
2. There is no such thing as a hate crime (most of the reported ones are fake anyway), so we shouldn't be quick to label this as one.
3. We shouldn't care about this shooting because people die of gun violence in Chicago and Baltimore all the time. It's all about black on black crime folks!
4. If the victims had guns, this could've been prevented.
He should have had a nice Zinfandel instead of the beer. That would have made him less deplorable.

Why can't the media begin to do two things immediately: 1. include in their coverage every time a violent is committed by someone who is in this country illegally, and 2. include in their coverage every time a handgun death is committed with a firearm that was not legally purchased or registered by the shooter?

Liberals hate America and despise Americans. We have had that driven home sine the morning if Nov. 9, 2016.
It's not universal, but many of the ones who don't still support and defend (rather than denounce) the ones who do, so for them it is almost a distinction without a difference.
The few who do criticize the haters seem to couch it in tactical terms--not that it is wrong to hate the nation and its citizens, but showing it does not serve the Cause.
