Miss a peel and skip can call for more curl and one sweep can move it, change weight, faster or slower. Hit, draw, in-turn, out-turn, doesn't matter. Light is only thing you can't fix...oh, Shit!- we're supposed to be making fun, huh?
In Canada they have two Seasons...six months of winter and six months of poor curling!
How do these brooms work on kitchen floors? OK, tiny rocks are not an issue on my floor but salt and ice in wintertime are. Will they just glide toward the dust pan? or do I have to throw a big rock toward it and then fiercely sweep ahead of the rock? Kind of like the idea of sweeping the sidewalk and driveway that way at five as the neighbors come home from work under a red sunset.

Controversy in this most exciting of winter sports?
Heh heh, they called them athletes. Heh heh.
You've got to admire how curling has made cheating a part of the sport.
Cheating as part of the sport? Sounds like NASCAR.
Any sport that attracts lots of hot female athletes is aces with me.
It looks like they are getting expert advice from Bill Belichick.

Well, if it's roaches, 100 % is a good thing.
About curling brooms, I have no opinion.
Hairspray?
The non-slip, high tech shoes should be mentioned, as well. Falling flat on one's face used to be a risk for sweepers.
The new broom sweeps clean
