Brando বলেছেন...: I'm sure they'll try and spin this as out of context or something, but this will work against the narrative her bootlickers have tried to push of Hillary as "on top of things" (remember the "texts from Hillary" meme?). Instead we have someone heavily reliant on her aides (as are most leaders, but it's the choice of aides and the judgment in hearing their advice that matters, and Hillary's judgment has been poor), prone to political calculation (as are most politicians, but Hillary takes it to an extreme), and utterly lacking in personal skills. A close examination of her Sec of State tenure will show that despite starting that job with the advantage of being a well known former First Lady she proved unable to lead one of the most important Cabinet departments and Obama found himself unable to trust her (note that even with Biden out, Obama STILL hasn't endorsed his former Secretary of State even when the only competition is a crazy old socialist who technically isn't even a Democrat, and a former MD governor who is polling at Pataki levels).

John henry বলেছেন...: In another note I pointed out that Hilary! had already had a fairly major stroke. Someone else has pointed out that that she may have had some smaller ones since. She definitely does seem confused these days. Stroke(s) would be a logical explanation.

I had also mentioned the Wilson experience where Woody was completely incapacitated by a stroke and his wife was, essentially, being the president.

Last night I recalled, from the 70's a series of Doonsebury cartoons. Honey, Raule Duke's Chinese sweetie, was assistant to Mao. At that time Mao was only speaking through Honey and she said "I can just make up whatever I want and say Mao said it. I am really the one running the country." (recalling from memory)

Is this sort of what Huma is doing for Hilary? Hard to say but is seems like she is very close to what Hilary says. If Hilary has another stroke, will we get Huma running the country behind the scenes rather than Bill? He is not looking so good these days herself.

Huma can come out and say "President Clinton says, give lots of money to the university in Jeddah." Where her mother teaches.

Or, since her mother is effectively a Saudi hostage, something darker?

Her previous assignment was as translator to Mao himself. Specifically, she's afraid that she might have caused the Cultural Revolution by mistranslating a lunch order.

Not to mention her having to take Mao's indecisive nature into account when she translated for him. One occasion had him tell her to send word for the Great Wall of China to be destroyed. She tells him the next day that it had been dismantled. A week later, he told her that he changed his mind and that he wanted the entire Wall rebuilt exactly as it was. Honey tells the Chairman that she had personally devised a plan which got the entire wall rebuilt in one day. Honey reveals that she actually spent the whole week watching TV, but "He thinks I'm a genius." (to which Duke replies "In a way, Honey, you are.")

What about Huma's lady parts? Although born in the US, she spent much of her growing up (age 2-18 IIRC) in Saudi Arabia. Her Pakistani mother has supported FGM as the Muslim way in the past.

And as we have seen from the imbroglios of VP Al Gore and Senator Franken in their elections, and many other Dem candidates, where there are votes needed there will be votes found.

All Republicans have to do to win is get enough votes to have more votes than there were Democrat voters, plus enough votes to have more votes than the Democrat precincts will find after the election.
