Having relatives in east TN, residence there for 10 years, visited Memphis several times over the past few years and never seeing a big Muslim influence, I was curious enough to go to the article.
The headline says capital but the article says birthplace. BIG difference between "capital" and "birthplace."
Pretty interesting story, marred by a click-bait bullshit headline. The entire tale is about one person, who also happened to be from Tennessee, and also shot soldiers at a recruiting station. I seriously doubt that was the first U.S. killing "in the name of Allah" ever since 9-11, as the writer portrays it.
The western Army under Grant and later under Sherman was called The army of the Tennessee after the Tennessee River Valley that it was sent to take. It never lost a battle.
The resolve of a certain warlike Colonel leading his Tennessee Volunteers against the Creeks and their powerful ally the King of England, and against the King of Spain and his allies among the Choctaw and Seminoles in Mobile and Pensacola was the reason the USA kept its independence from European Empires during its first 30 years. He for one surely won his place on the $20 bills in our wallets. But today's cultish Democrat wimps say we should be ashamed of him because he was a white man.

I'm not sure that Headline is valid, given the evidence. I do note the influence of Our Friends the Saudis on Bledsoe.
An apt quote: They weren’t on the battlefield; but apparently, the battlefield’s here
Grammar.
How does it work?
Glenn Raynolds is a terrorist?
We're in trouble.
What didn't start last week?
American Jihad?
Tennessee?
The capital?
"Let me tell you a story about a man named Achmed..."
The jihadi who shot up the recruiting offices and killed five military men was not American born. He was born in Kuwait.
More so than Dearborn MI? I find that hard to believe.

The capital of the US is not Hawaii.
I haven't worked my way through the whole article yet, but I'm struck by how straight the reporting is.

But the motivation of the shooter has yet to be determined..... right?
Well, the Fort Hood, Texas, shooter doesn't count as a jihadist, because that was just workplace violence. Right?
And those guys who got outgunned while trying to kill cartoonists, also in Texas, that doesn't count cuz they got iced, right?
Texas wants all jihadists to note we shoot back, and even shoot first, if legally justified in doing so.
Don't get me started talking abut the Army of Tennessee, and how they were suppose to protect the southern breadbasket. How did that work out?
The people of TN have sucked for at least 150 yrs. Why did they run away like pussies?
