Politically, I find little to admire in either man. That said, it is a little bit annoying how the modern "bro culture" has displaced the reality of deep, intimate, fraternal friendships between men. I always find it hilarious how in our incessantly feminized culture, friendships between women are frequently depicted in pop culture as deep and soulful while a man's friends are often regarded as little more than playground playmates. My own real life experience that is my best friend and I have known each other for 25 years and are, for all intents and purposes, brothers, while I have spent a good portion of my life hearing my two older sisters complain of catty, backstabbing behavior from their female friends.
His role in 2016 is to run interference for Jeb in SC.
The Bushies don't want a TP/renegade-type (i.e., a non-Bushie) coming out of South Carolina with a big win heading into Super Tuesday just 10 days later.
Every vote that Graham takes from Cruz/Huck/Paul/Perry/Walker in SC, is a vote for Jeb.
Other Bushies, such as Rubio and Christie, will be throwing themselves on hand grenades for Jeb in IA and NH. Their functionality in the overall Bush effort is the same as Lindsey Graham's.
If the Bush parlay comes in, Graham will be Secretary of Defense in Jeb's admin. If not, it's back to the Senate for Lindsey, which isn't a bad gig.
Graham's views seem to be we need illegal immigrants so we can use them as cannon fodder for the never ending wars in the Middle East.
The military is 75% a jobs program, either directly employing people who employing people at defense contractors and consultants. But someone has to fight and southern white men will get sick of doing it. So bring on the Latinos.

He's a fag.
If Graham is gay, and he really wants to be President, he should come out. Could be a huge game-changer.
I found him very appealing as he showed his emotions about Joe Biden (in the context of Biden's pain over his son's death).
Grahamesty, much like a lot of the lower tier R's, is wasting his time. Other than his hawkish tendencies, he brings zero to the table.
Did you like McCain as a presidential candidate? Then Lindsey is your guy. And the result will be the same.
Game changer? Yeah, reducing his chances from .0000732% to .0000721%
Because a Senator would make a great President, as demonstrated so many times in this great Nation's history.
Professor, I detect subtle ridicule in your post's title.
(OK, not so subtle.)
Graham is a decent man and an independent thinker. He gets a bad rap, especially from members of his own party.

Both are the most despicable of political animals who probably never had a real job in their lives.

You would.
You also voted for the Usurper twice. What are they learning in that "Con Law" class?
Lindsey Graham is a Bushie.

Win-win.

Holy shit. If Jeb's Latinophilia isn't reason enough to wish his campaign destroyed, certainly this horrifying prospect should be.

Why is the biden tag in lowercase letters? Does it have conscious or subconscious meaning?
