A wan watch party for the first major speech of Hillary's campaign.

An amusing moment on CNN just now:

What did these 5 people have to say? I don't know, but Bernie Sanders is in Iowa, drawing hundreds...

That's all she merits

Richard Epstein says Bernie Sanders can think on his feet, unlike Hillary who is leaden; though economics isn't Sanders' strong point. In fact he's an economic moron, albeit through not being interested in it.

He's sort of like a woman.

Oh, God, please have her wear the big collar neck thing again, this time in a different color, perhaps blue or mauve, and please turn it into a fashion trend while you're at it.....

Epstein is Weekend at Bernie's podcast with Yoo.

Hugh Hewitt thinks she will win. Our best hope seems to be Bernie in the primary.

Apparently Hillary (or more likely Hillary's campaign workers) joined Instagram this week. Their first message was "Hard choices"--supported by a picture of a rack of pant suits. This is a sort of campaign relaunch akin to a shipbuilder launching a ship, which promptly sinks.

What great strategic minds are at work here?

She was dressed appropriately -- in a normal jacket with a plain shell underneath in a single solid color (strong blue).

Did she have anything to say about the pending trade bills?

I heard her pandering to the 2%; the LGBT crowd.

Yay! Hillary can wear grown-up clothes! Elect her president! (NOT!)

Her corruption and dirty politics and money grubbing remain her strong "suits" and nothing she wears can change that.

That's a smaller ( and more colorfully dressed ) crowd than I remember

It's an Iowa thing. Santorum calls crowd of 4 in rural Iowa a success. All the constant attention from candidates gets a little wearing after a time, you know?

House Party? What kind of house has a huge room like that?

madAsHell said...

5 people, and only 15 available chairs. It's like her campaign is planning for failure.
How far can the Peter Principle propel her?

madAsHell said...

Did they have to show an EBT card to gain access to the house party?

She should offer to cut education to pay for a millionaires basketball arena...then she might get some GOP supporters.

The Sheeple have not yet been summoned. This is still the time for preemptive mocking and smearing of GOP candidates, according to the Progressive Playbook.

Oh please let Bernie win the nomination....

Democrat party shills in the media will have to work extra hard to sell this old bag to the public.

WHere is this happening? Because this is not what is happening in Milwaukee. And the smallest contributor is the state. The state is also the biggest winner, keeping hundreds of millions of tax dollars that would be lost if the Bucks moved. Milwaukee County, run by by Democrats, is paying in more. And getting less. Hoping to recover the investment through surrounding economic development.

You are an idiot. Or a liar. Or both. Likely both.

Newsflash: Hillary is so boring that State Department bureaucrats told her to please keep her emails private

Speech was on the TV when I was in a restaurant. Nobody paid any attention. But it was looooooooong.

That watch party is at a nursing home or a retirement home.

You can bet that when the election comes, Hillary's people will either roll up a bus or (more likely) have arranged for a polling place in that very room. And the turnout will be a lot bigger.

Laugh if you want.

I can't stand her but she will win.

What pube is going to carry a state Obama carried....none!

The math, again, is not on your side.

But you do have the new conferacy in the pocket.

I wonder if the news that Bill Clinton bankrupted the CIA on minor matters prior to 9/11 will have any effect on her campaign ?

“Even though senior policy makers were intimately familiar with the threat posed by terrorism, particularly those in the previous administration who had responded to major attacks, they never provided us the luxury of either downgrading other high priority requirements we were expected to perform against, or the resource base to build counterterrorism programs with the consistency that we needed before September 11,” Mr. Tenet wrote.

Of course, Madeline half bright asserted that "Of course we took terrorism seriously. We had meetings on it every week."

I'm still expecting a bait-and-switch.

The Dems will roll out a young, exciting candidate with almost no record to attack and let the MSM paint a rainbow of hope on a new blank canvas.

Hillary is Bob Dole and Dukakis wrapped up in one, without the accomplishments of either. She was a *much* stronger candidate eight years ago.

Kudos to whoever is in charge of camera placement and props to cover Hillary's weight problem. From the waist down the podium cannot conceal her dimensions. I have concerns that she can fulfill the physical duties of POTUS. She is not an imposing figure in person.

Why is she not in handcuffs the back of a Crown Vic?
