Fernandinande transformed my photograph, the one of the fledgling robin in whose eye I saw myself, and Meade came forward with his own accidental selfies in the eyes of an animal:

Hey, I'm famous!
It took about 15 seconds with Photoshop, but you can get some-funny looking faces that way.
It can't be a "selfie" unless the animal is actually controlling the camera/picture taking device!
Hey Fern it may take you 15 seconds, but the rest of us get to look at it as long as we want. Thanks.
The power of modern cameras is amazing. But i'm most impressed by your technique to get such a clear photo of a wild beast without using a tripod (here I refer to the other bird-eye post).
Cool stuff, Althouse!
Look into my eyes....deeply.
Feed me. feed me....

The animal is Meade, so that's why it's a selfie..
I stand corrected.
Bicycle reflected in a roadside record.
I took a picture of a gravestone (headstone) once for posting on Find-A-Grave and then realized the stone surface was so shiny that you could see my reflection clearly as I had crouched in front of the grave to take the picture. It seemed tacky so I used Photoshop to erase myself before posting it.
