My bike ride home tonight was almost like biking through a perfume store! Flowering crab trees and lilac bushes! Beautiful and so sweet smelling.

Suggestion: When posting pictures of flowers taken from a distance maybe offer a closeup of the actual flowers.

A modest offering to the god of poetry:

Paved palaver

Leaving day's chatter behind,
the streets enter tense discussion with evening:

Sibilant vehicles lisp over the asphalt
as the city's hubbub recedes.
Buses spit people like bad food.

Loaded with neon, night daubs
downtown's face with hokum.

My wife can't stand anything that smells good, they make her sneeze. Nasty smells don't bother her at all.
