Much as I hate the whole "check your privilege!" cliche, as well as the "but this disproportionately impacts the poor and minorities!"it is worth noting that Brooks' argument against legalization is pretty weak.

The biggest unexamined privilege is the Birth Privilege of those who assert the right to murder the unborn.
