"Biden’s office forces reporter to delete photos."

"They apologized after the fact. The reporter should also apologize — for complying, instead of saying 'fuck off, I’m a reporter.'"

In fairness, the reporter was a student. Still, he needs to grow some balls.

A beautiful piece for my "If Bush Had Done It" collection.

Sitting in a non- press section gave him a (photographic?) advantage?

Hey Biden Babe -- EVERYONE IN AMERICA carries a camera nowadays.

Get used to it.

Buy a copy of Army of Davids.

To be fair, being a Biden Staffer has to be up there in terms of high stress jobs... constantly wondering what will tumble out of that buffoon's word hole. You can imagine that someone under that kind of pressure my be like "DELETE THAT NOW!"

The reporter has a bright future on the White House best.

What a corageous lot those Reporter-Americans are. Providing daily examples of how Obama & Co. love to force people to do things, and then how to comply.

Speak troof to power!

Beat.

Stupid iPhone.

The student reporter is performing precisely how he is being taught: Cater to the whims of any/all democrats and be sure to accurately repeat, verbatim, whatever that dem says in your articles/reports.

As would befit a proper stenographer.

Had this been a republican, however, a very different set of rules would be applied.

This administration demands compliance from media and Hollywood.

I hope the kid feels "sheepish".

Sounds like the kid needs a quick course in conlaw.

I'd have some respect for Biden had he gone full-Barzini and yanked the film out of the camera and then crumpled it up.

I agree with the all the above.

"Things will not go well with you if you mess with Mother Biden." Those threats are coming out of DC faster as the civilian Agencies are laying up 40 cal. wad-cutter ammo like they will soon be at war inside the USA...with terrorists of course. But why do I suspect that the terrorists are like that reporter?

MadisonMan said...

They apologized because they were caught.

MadisonMan said...

So Dana Rosenzweig is pro-censorship, and thinks she rules the world.

Why hasn't she resigned? Am I paying the salary of someone is so vividly anti-American?

MadisonMan said...

And I do hope that Barr sues. Hit her where it hurts.

Curious George said...

"This isn’t the first time Biden’s office has taken a heavy hand to the press. After the vice president made a remark during the presidential campaign that Republicans would put voters “back in chains,”"

Hell, small wonder the media would comply with this request. They carry the admins water without asking, above is just another example.

Biden did not say that the GOP would put "voters" back in chains, he meant African-Americans, or as easterner like Biden say "darkies".

Brennan said...

At least he didn't end up in a closet.

I Have Misplaced My Pants said...

Geesh, what a little pansy. Didn't the reporter ever learn to say, "Make me!" or "You and what army?!"

damikesc said...

A beautiful piece for my "If Bush Had Done It" collection.

Didn't this administration once have a reporter locked in a closet for several hours?

Why would anybody respect a press that acts more like a battered spouse than a check on the executive?

Larry J said...

Just goes to show how the "reporters" will continue their media blowjob of the Obama administration at all costs.

Anonymous said...

Heck, he should thank his lucky stars that they didn't lock him in the utility closet to take pictures of brooms and mops.

When Biden goes over to the pope's first Mass as Zerobama's representative, he will not be allowed to take Communion, per most recent edict of Francis I.

So Dana Rosenzweig is pro-censorship, and thinks she rules the world.

This stuff happens almost every day in the Capitol. Weirdly, that never seems to bother you.

rcommal said...

So, garage mahal, is what Dana did wrong or not?

AllenS said, "This administration demands compliance from media and Hollywood."

I wouldn't mind that so much; it's what the administration demands from the rest of us that worries me.

Matt Sablan said...

"This stuff happens almost every day in the Capitol. Weirdly, that never seems to bother you."

Biden's peopel are making reporters delete their videos all the way in the Capitol? His reach truly is long.

Amartel said...

The hilarious part of this is that the reporter is from U. of Maryland's in-house paper, Capital News Service. Presumably, part of the university's j-school. He just assumed he'd "violated a protocol" and willingly allowed Biden's enforcers to delete his photos. For violating a protocol.
Freedom of the Press! To be simpering, cowering lapdogs. Yay.

Bob_R said...

I think the "I'm a reporter" part of Reynolds' suggested response is unnecessary.

Writ Small said...

Jeremy Barr, a reporter with the University of Maryland’s Capital News Service, was seated in a non-press section for the event, at which the vice president announced an anti-domestic violence initiative.

I think there's a video where members of the media can learn to apply make-up to hide the bruises.

garage mahal said...

So, garage mahal, is what Dana did wrong or not?

Yes.

"So, garage mahal, is what Dana did wrong or not?

That giant sucking sound was garage pulling his head out of his ass.

Remember, Shotgun Joe will be our Representative at the installation of the new Pope.

What could go wrong?

Brennan said...

New rule for Biden press pool. If you are within reach of his hair plugs then your materials can be confiscated and deleted.

Maintain safe distance. Safety not guaranteed.

Typical of our political class. Piss off would have been my response to her.

Freedom of the Press.
To obey orders from the government.

Freedom of the Press.
To repeat things other people say.
Unless they're told not to.
In which case
Not to repeat things other people say.

MadisonMan said...

"So, garage mahal, is what Dana did wrong or not?

Yes."

Logically, the answer to any questions that asks Is something Wrong or Not is always yes, because it is always Wrong or it is Not Wrong.

Was the perpetrator a man or a woman? Yes.

Was the sky clear or cloudy? Yes.

Are we going to get rain or snow? Yes.

If the Pope arranges to deny communion to Clueless Joe Biden... well I will have to see it happen first.

I hope and pray that he does but I just don't see it.

I like the part about “Rockville is not a third-world country where police-state style media censorship is expected.”
It is now.

I think of it as going Mark Latham. The man had terrible rage problems.

I'm surprised there wasn't some acceptable slapping (to Biden) going on.

wow, talk about government suppression.

Matt said...

In the Bush White House:

The White House broke with tradition Wednesday night and refused to let photojournalists shoot still pictures of the president at the podium after his prime-time address on the Iraq war.

Happens in all White Houses. Doesn't make it right but also not news.

rcommal said...

MadisonMan: I stand reprimanded. But I'm not going to ask the question again.

; )

David said...

Matt, it's news precisely because it happens all the time and nobody does anything about it. The Maryland J school dean decided not to roll over and play dead. Good for her. And because of her it's news.

rcommal said...

MadisonMan:

Are we going to get rain or snow? Yes.

However, I don't think this example works.

RobertVanDame said...

A better response would be "F*** off, I'm an American."

Biden has a 10 hour plane ride to Rome. Plenty of time to think up some great one-line zingers. He cracks me up.

And I'd really appreciate if if the rest of you would stop taking your lead from pansy Reynolds--quit leaving off the "and die" part.

It is child's play to undelete erased photos on digital memory cards. If this so called journalist doesn't do so and publish them, he is a coward and a fellator of Democratic thugs.

Here is one of the most popular undelete products:

One version of the story took pains to describe our simpering student stenographer as "credentialed". WTF any "credentials" have to do with taking pictures of your elected representatives in a public event was not explained.
