edutcher, that is true! My sister has a Yorkie puppy (well, he's a former puppy now.) He is so accustomed to people calling him "cute" that he thinks it's his name and will change direction and trot expectantly toward anyone who uses the word, whether it's directed at him or not. I am not a small-dog person but I confess to finding this little dog irresistible.
Tapir or danta is an endangered species because is hunted for the meat specially in Venezuela and Brasil. not because of the flavor but for the quantity. Meats is extremely scarce in the amazonian jungle. Some people hunt it for religious and medicinal purposes
But it is sacred for others so they dont hunt the tapir
I seem to be auto-editing because I saw "miraculous" and thought that the phrase "miraculous sepia water-melon" was a great line.
