Lovin' Life. It gets sweeter every year. Looking back on 60 years of fun I'm thinking how lucky I am to have been born in a country that allowed me to have this life. Blessed is the word. Special shout out to the Founding Fathers for coming up with the scheme of things...
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
All RIGHTS and no protected PROCESS render the RIGHTS null. Good government is hard work, especially when so many work SO HARD to defeat mechanisms in place to preserve integrity.
I submit; The RIGHT to vote is less important than the INTEGRITY of the voting process.
I am more concerned about my voting rights being PROTECTED at the polling place. My VOTE is protected when the 'authoritah' 1. ensures that my vote is counted accurately and 2. ensures that voting by persons *not eligible* does not occur.
Persons *not eligible* include illegals, dead people, and those that have already cast a vote.
Great comment Surfed. And, a special thanks to whoever invented the concept of: Friday, Friday Gettin' down on Friday Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend
Partyin', partyin' (Yeah) Partyin', partyin' (Yeah) Fun, fun, fun, fun
If you are working today, make it fun. get into it and and enjoy the challenge. Make a game of it. Most of the dissatisfaction of working is purely a mental distortion of reality. Keep in mind that a huge number of countrymen are wishing they could go to work today, wishing they could just get a cup of coffee and fill up their tank, turn on a light, longing to get back what you already have. We are lucky S.O.B.s
I assumed that it wasn't new, but exceptionally well cared for. With a Bontrager stem, I'd bet it is a Trek bicycle, which is a company that is local to the greater Madison area.
I think it's fresh from the store. The tire looks brand new. The knobs on the suspension system are shiny without a speck of dirt. All the places that would collect something after a ride or two look factory fresh.
I really love your photography, Ann. Your subjects and your composition all speak high art to me, and as a painter, I'm always considering, "How would I paint that?"
I was/am lucky in that I did/do a job I had a blast at, being a carpenter. I got to be outdoors a lot. I worked all over the country. I can fix anything that needs fixing. And the women!!wink wink nudge nudge"Say no more. Say no more!"
Alas I use the past tense because it looks like I'll no longer be able to work anymore. The surgery I had to have this past summer was for 7 hernia's I had that had incarcerated my bowels with scar tissue. The doctor says for me to no longer pick up anything. Seeing that this is the 3rd time this has happened in 15 years I guess I have to believe him. And to top it off, I still haven't fully healed from the incision busting open.
I am pleasantly surprised how satisfying 'All Play and No Work' turned out to be after 50 years in the work place. Mostly because I love books and can keep the to-read list expanding faster than I can consume.

No voter ID means NO INTEGRITY.

The Japanese have been putting silly English aphorisms on consumer goods for a long time. See the website engrish.com

Moderation in eating means to the doctor the door to close.
Austria, ca 1938
The bike doesn't look like it's ever been ridden.
I thought it was a thermonuclear vibrator.
Fun is the one thing that money can't buy.
Sang the Beatles.
Not that the bike was free.
Mountain bike. Nice. Hit the trails before the snow. Plenty of time.

I have one of those caps but mine says "pedal harder, sissy".

Fuck. I loved my job.
OK I just had to share this...because its fun.
A British engineer just started his own business in Afghanistan.
He's making land mines that look like prayer mats.
He said business is booming and the prophets are going through the roof.
Allah Akboom!
Mine says, "Place no scrota here."
