MASSIVE TURNOUT IN MADISON: City clerk says turnout on pace to reach 119% thkpr.gs/L1ldBx #wirecall
— ThinkProgress (@thinkprogress) June 5, 2012
Prediction: Voter intensity is so high, everyone rushed to vote in the AM, so we won't see the usual huge post-work turnout bump. #wirecall

So the Dems got the turnout in Madison they need, right?
Over to you, Waukesha County.
There's a line to instill confidence.
Only 19% of the corpses voted today.
Just change that headline to "119% turnout in Waukesha County", and listen to the Dems squeal about vote fraud.
I have a really, really hard time believing more Madison liberals are going to turn out and vote for Tom Barrett than did for Barack Obama back in 08.
119% of what, pray tell?
What a totally weird thing to tweet. Haven't these people ever heard of situational awareness?
It's all part of the recall recount battlespace preparation: "We couldn't have lsot, because of our record turnout!" "VOTE FRAUD!!11!11"
What are the current Intrade numbers?
The Dane County Clerk was also quick to announce this morning that she figured Dane would have an 85% turnout, only to come back a couple of hours later and "amend" her statement to around 75%.
All this stuff should be taken with a grain of salt until we actually start seeing real numbers come in.
119% Granted this is just a tweet, but the mind boggles. Even making allowance for this being think progress (is this really their twitter account), it's impossible to believe that any sentient being would be unaware of the implications of what they just wrote.
The cemetery voters are jigging for joy.
Just goes to show... Voter fraud is only bad when the other side does it! :-)
People. it's a joke.
Madison commenters, Ann & Meade, Have any of you seen any evidence as to whether the clerk or Christian S. Is closer to the truth on this?
Same day registrations are reported to be very high in Madison.
How do provisional ballots work in WI? This morning in Oceanside, CA the guy in front of me wasn't on the rolls and was given a "provisonal ballot."
Remember, folks:
Franken units. FU.
1 FU = 500 votes.
1 car trunk can hold about 6 Franken units.
A bus from Detroit can hold a shitload more than that.
Well here is a link to the "massive turnout" that shows a different story...
Only 119%?
Damn those Republican vote-suppressing dirty tricks!
Twitter News is no news
In our ward, according to the chart from City of Madison, there are over 1500 registered voters. At 6 this evening we cast ballots #1449 and #1450. There were three (youngish) people doing the same day registration thing - didn't look familiar to me but we live on the far west edge of our ward so who knows. Maybe we will hit 119%...
No one outside my polling place just now (I voted Friday but did a drive-by a few minutes ago). ONE car in the parking lot, NO ONE visible outside. At this time during the primary, there were people everywhere and a long line.
Wonder if the libs who infest the neighborhood all voted already, or if turnout is down?
City clerk says turnout on pace to reach 119%
That's what happens when you bus in "voters" from out of state.
