2 photographs from this week in Wisconsin politics.
(The first photo, by me, is from the People's Brat Fest. The second photo, by Meade, is from an equal pay press conference.)

There's no market demand for anger.
The peering woman on the far left with the big, crazy eyes ate the face of the woman in yellow just after this photo was taken. Obviously.
Are there no native attractive people in Wisconsin?
Well, don't they look lovely?
I'd just jump at the chance to hire these women.
NOT!!!!
Great shot Meade. It looks like you lit your nipples on fire to get that reaction.
Yes, it probably could be a more complimentary photo, but it could have been worse.
On to issues....Do we need to discuss how dishonest this "equal pay" feint of the "war on women" is?
How do we know Meade-The-Provocateur isn't holding the camera in one hand and picking his nose with the other? Hmmm?
Both photos are severely cropped (by me).
I take responsibility for the harshness.
Norman Rockwell school of photography. No, seriously, this is what happens when you watch the hawks too long. I learned that same lesson the hard way. Really hard. I was imitating my grandmother scolding me for making faces and really cranking my face out of shape in doing the imitation as hilariously as possible, to get at the humor of warning me about doing the thing that she was doing, and the next day in that exact same spot I twisted into a face plant and totally screwed up my face. Blood all over the place. I almost lost a few teeth, and the one side went dead for a very long time. Bell's palsy set in. It took a lot of face exercises to regain the original charm of my winning smile and I'm not sure I have it right because someone said, 'there's that smirk again' when I wasn't doing anything.
The lady in the second picture standing behind Falk has a "someone dropped ass" look on her face. She smelt what the unions dealt.
This is the air-brushed version?
There's a lot to be said for wearing a scarf.
Are there no native attractive people in Wisconsin?
Oh, pooh. I give these women an 8. They can divide it among themselves. Equally, of course.
Just a silly little girl worrying her silly little head about Equal Pay.
Kathleen's necklace is nice.
Yeouch!
Katie Falk, not aging gracefully.
If your shorts bunch up in your crotch you should not be wearing them. Just an observation.
As for the happy happy women. I had a comment, but now I'm scared to make it. They could find me and kill me. Wyoming has a small population.
From gadfly's link:
"April 17 was commemorated as Equal Pay Day. ... The April 17th date reflects the extra 4½ months women had to work to earn what men earned in 12 months."
Of course, it would be a lot more honest to say: "reflects the extra 4½ months that women would have to work to match the hours that men work, accounting for their higher income."
I'd like to live in a world where I could make easier choices (i.e., work less) and get equal pay. I really would. But somebody who works more than me has to give something up. I think some woman should get less so I can get more.
The one on the right is a classic beauty, eh? appears that someone set her face on fire and put it out with a shovel...
Dogs rock.
"Are there no native attractive people in Wisconsin?"
This isn't what you asked but Wisconsin has a dozen or more Native American tribes with some of the most beautiful women that ever walked the earth. And they can change a tire.
So, what: fat asses, men in shorts and angry, wrinkled (likely unconservative) women?
Amusing theme: recycling.

That's both wrong and complete BS, and what's more is how well you know it

The way you arrive at that $0.75 figure is to just divide what the women make, on average, by what men make, on average. As an accounting methodology it's hopelessly flawed, since you have to accept the notion a teacher or a clerk at the DMV ought to make as much money as an oil rig diver who's stuck on the rig for six weeks at a time.
I give up. Why the tag for Meat?
Maybe because the pictures are "well done?"
The one in the middle looks like she's ready to reach down Meade's throat and extract the pay from his wallet by creating a new orifice.
The one behind her looks like she's the one that has to tell Mzz I-Am-Woman that all the Demo womyn in the US Senate pay their female help less than their male help.
Why the tag for meat?
So Obama can find the dog pictures.
Underpaid for doing the exact same job, working the exact same hours?
Scandalous!
Why, isn't there some lawyer available who could take on this case? I mean, it's an obvious winner, right?
Weird how they can't find a attorney to sue for redress after all these years.
Reminds me of the old joke:
Q: How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: That's not funny!
Now, now everyone. Unless you are a movie star, or Pinch Sulzburger's new girlfriend, you are not going to look good in a photo after age 40. These are actually normal adult people looking like most of us look. The woman in the middle would be quite pretty if she smiled. Does she remember how to smile?

Or why a company doesn't take over the world by simply hiring only women and cutting their operating expenses by whatever BS percentage feminists claim the "wage gap" is? Why would a company willingly pay for identical work?
Looks like they're trying out forthe part of Abigail Williams in The Crucible, falsely accusing others of witchcraft.
"I am but God's finger, John. If he would condemn Elizabeth, she will be condemned."
"Meat" is the equivalent of "employment discrimination."
There were 2 political events. One was about sausages.
In the second photo, it looks as if Meade is getting the Isthmus love stare.
Meat = employment discrimination?
"Meat" is one of those words which seems to have almost endless slang possibilities. The Urban Dictionary goes on for pages and pages defining "meat." The first definition, and a common thread in many, is "meat" meaning penis or sexual intercourse. (Gonna get me some meat.)
One good question is whether these ladies are vegetarians. Or maybe they are just hungry.
Angry, well-educated white women with good jobs. The face of modern feminism.
The guy in the first picture with the weird shorts and red high-tops -- if this is typical of what 'guys wearing shorts' in Wisconsin looks like, then I understand AA's disgust.
You never see a guy in the South wearing shorts that look like that unless he's a tourist.
Like lesbians, there are feminists who really just hate men, and those who love women. The difference is negative/positive.
Obviously, the woman on the far left should be paid the same amount as Marty Feldman.
Rcommal, recycling is echo friendly.
Does everyone in Madison(except for AA and Meade) wake up angry everyday? Who do they hate today?
Red shoes is looking for meat at the protest. The dog is flying wing man. It's a good thing that the dog can't count botched opportunities.
There is a draw string on his shorts. I'm guessing he lives in Mommy's basement.
The woman glaring at the camera looks as though she's just been asked, "How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb?"
All I can say is, Geez, don't you have any conservative events - ever?
"Obviously, the woman on the far left should be paid the same amount as Marty Feldman."
Bazinga!!! EDH, you are the man. I can tell by how overpaid you were for that comment.
The equal pay conference needs some weiners.
The many factors which divide us are actually much more superficial than those we share.
