Well, of course... it was trying to light his bong while huffing the gas of his 18th aerosol can that caused him to blow up...

The pop rocks and coke only made it impossible to cremate the body.

I always thought that last line was awkward; the instant switch from 3rd person to 1st. I wondered why she did that.

I could probably look it up in Wiccaperpia. Maybe later.

I think the 2 older boys are aloof from the younger one, and are even pranking him, getting him to try the mysterious food.

But when they suddenly see that the cereal is good, they finally talk to him. They are no longer aloof. They want him to give them the cereal.

The deep psychic message is: Sure, you're an outcast now, but if you eat this cereal, people will finally talk to you.
