"This election will not be as sexy as the first one.... We’ve got to grind it out a little bit. We’ve got to grind it out."

He's making it sound sexy!
"I’m going to keep on pushing."
"Keep On Pushing," by The Impressions was the song that played as Obama took the stage at the 2004 Democratic Convention to give the keynote address. Listen:

There was nothing sexy about electing him in 2008. Nothing sexy about the last three years. Nothing sexy about $14 trillion in federal debt. Nothing sexy about a president who dislikes Americans.

"Grinding it out" sounds pretty damn sexy to me. When we were "grinding it" on the dance floor the nuns made sure we separated and made room for The Holy Ghost.

The only grinding we taxpayers are feeling is that pain that we feel in our ass. At least he could have the decency of using some lube.

Actually Obama has always relied on his seductive powers using the smile of all smiles and his benevolent offer to lead us to the Brave New Re-distributed Community.

We somehow overlooked that meant he would first have to destroy our existing community order. Only Joe the Plumber got that word by a slip of the tongue.

How are Obama's suggested mob riots doing this morning?

Dear corrupt left, go F yourselves said...

Is it even possible for Congress to kind of say, "Hey, slow down, Hoss. This is too much of a muchness!"?

But what's lacking is someone of quality, as able to talk straight to the American people. On par with Sarah Palin. And, Donald Trump. Because both have shown the knack to connect TO our economy.

Will this bad economy be around for a long time? YUP.

Did Obama inherit problems? Yup.

Does he have room to speak the truth? Nope. No one is gonna believe a word of what he says.

But there's NO REAGAN OUT THERE!

And, if you didn't know that it was ONLY REAGAN who took out Jimmy Carter ... then you don't know that if it wasn't for Reagan, Jimmy Carter would have been re-elected.

But the 8 contendahs, currently running for the republican nomination, aren't GOP elite insiders. (Even Newt Gingrich is just a has-been among them.)

What would an Obama win look like? (It would make Karl Rove laugh. It would get the "insiders" jumping all over the "Tea Party.") And, it wouldn't move the ball.

That ball that continually sits in the middle of the court.

Today’s actions by President Obama’s Super PAC provided even more proof that Mitt Romney is the republican that scares democrats most. This anti-Romney ad buy is $100,000 and it’s far from the first anti-Romney attack ad President Obama’s Super PAC has produced. The continued paid attacks this early in the election illustrate a level of desperation from the Obama administration that makes sense considering President Obama’s record of accomplishment is so weak.

You'll never leave me and you know it's true,

This is what is known as a contradiction.

And, because the idiots who comprise Obama's base are just as dumb as Allie's Apple, it is evident to anyone with a passable IQ of at least 90 that the president doesn't have to do one fucking thing whatsoever to "win back his base."

Obama gets 90 to 95% of his '08 vote, simply on the basis that his voters are too stupid to do anything else but vote for him again.

This drivel below is from the 'esteemed' paper of the country, the NY Times and the drooling for a fuck author is none other than Judith Warner. I dare you to read the rest of it. No wonder he goes around talking like that.

The other night I dreamt of Barack Obama. He was taking a shower right when I needed to get into the bathroom to shave my legs, and then he was being yelled at by my husband, Max, for smoking in the house. It was not clear whether Max was feeling protective of the president’s health or jealous because of the cigarette.

The other day a friend of mine confided that in the weeks leading up to the election, the Obamas’ apparent joy as a couple had made her just miserable. Their marriage looked so much happier than hers. Their life seemed so perfect. “I was at a place where I was tempted daily to throttle my husband,” she said. “This coincided with Michelle saying the most beautiful things about Barack. Each time I heard her speak about him I got tears in my eyes — because I felt so far away from that kind of bliss in my own life and perhaps even more, because I was so moved by her expressions of devotion to him. And unlike previous presidential couples, they are our age, have children the same age and (just imagine the stress of daily life on the campaign) by all accounts should have been fighting even more than we were.”

Fucking liberals. In the end, it always comes down to taking out or projecting their private failures and disappointments on the common weal, as if some fucking new Democrat program or elected official and his wife is going to save their fucking pathetic lives.

It embarrasses me they are Americans. Sure the hell aren't the kinds of Americans who founded this nation, pushed out the frontier, risked life and blood on the battlefields to end slavery or liberate Asia or Europe from tyranny. Where the fuck did these losers come from?

Obama winning reelection is about as unsexy as I can imagine an outcome. Think about how people will feel. Even his base or people like April's Apple will feel little more than relief that they didn't lose - nothing more is possible for them.

For the rest of us, it's as sexy as an any other impotent loser trying to climb back on after rubbing us with his limp ideology and accomplishing nothing for either of us. I'd rather just go back to sleep. Maybe you'll be gone when I wake up. I'm certain nothing important will happen until then. Just make sure to take your stuff with you when you go. I don't need any reminders of the mistake I made.

Tim said...

"Tim, do you honestly think liberals don't serve and die in service to this country? Are we going to replay that stupid argument again? Are you that much of a mouth foamer?"

One might wish to fully comprehend what was written before commenting, Hint: I was commenting on the liberal assholes who contrasted their failed/failing marriages with the Obama's, as if that, or they, have anything whatsoever to do with their own situation. I further commented on the all-too-obvious and all-too-common projecting by liberal assholes of their personal failings (e.g., the ongoing "Act Out on Wall Street" like so many spoiled per-schoolers nonsense) onto the common weal, was if, in some alternative universe, some idiotic liberal Democrat or program stealing tax dollars from productive citizens, could possibly mend their poor, fractured lives.

Otherwise, I know that, statistically speaking, a very few liberals do in fact serve their nation, fewer still in combat arms - so no, I don't honestly think liberals don't serve and die in service to this country - just far fewer than conservatives. But much more than conservatives in wanting government to fix what they themselves could only fix themselves, but they dare not try.

Who the fuck ever looks at a candidates marriage and compares it to their own? Unbelievable - unless you know liberals.

wv: estotera - this earth. Indeed so. We're doomed.

Will the willfully blind "law prof" try to vote for the clearly ineligible Usurper again? What would really be sexy is if Obama is prevented from running because of Minor v. Happersett:

"The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners."

Obama is not a natural born Citizen, not that the "law prof" cares about that. What do they teach at that school?

Toad Trend said...

Right.

Because Zero's election is absolutely critical, and the welfare of the country is secondary.

The I-president can't help but personalize things...grinding it out??? I suppose its fitting language from a person leading a complete screwing of *certain* citizens.

Did anyone notice if he was smiling?

Christopher in MA said...

Tim, you said it much better than I ever could. Anyone who "thinks" elections are sexy, or would vote for a candidate who would vomit such nonsense ought to be forcibly stripped of their right to vote and given nothing sharper to play with than a rubber ball.

Elections are merely an opportunity to select the ignorant, lying thief who will steal more from your enemy than from you.

To paraphrase an observation which I am too lazy to google to attribute: within the space of 220-ood years, we have gone from Washington, Adams, Marshall and Webster to Obama, Biden, Sotomayor and Pelosi. One wonders just how much of that 'progress' a nation can stand.

AllenS said...

Christopher,

You need to understand who was allowed to vote when the country was first founded. Now take a look at who is allowed to vote now. There's your problem.
