Great color interplay.

"... you cannot say the wrong thing."

Sounds like a challenge to me.

I'm thoroughly impressed with Madonna's 15 year old daughter's rack.

(wrong on so many levels)

(yet, true)

(which makes it even wronger)

(but, then at 42 I'm only 27 years older than she, while Madonna's 24 year old paramour is her junior by 29 years, so I guess that sort of thing is cool in her family..., and would be totally sort of legal in France...)

But you can hose up the color with a cyan cast.

They're not as easy to grow as one thinks. They need lots of water and heat, but not too much heat. This one is beautiful,

Hi Palladian!

Just thinking about you ... assume you are uptown and safe. Still have power I see.

Actually, unless the Professor has changed the rules there is a wrong thing one can say.

I dunno. Hothouse flower Justice Bradley thrives in Madison, and it's only hot there summers.

Be Safe Troop and Palladian.

I took my parents to Devils Lake tonight to dance with all the old folks.

They loved it and Devils Lake is the most beautiful place in Wisconsin.

Tits and Clouds.

Wrong only if you're an infidel.

PS Gorgeous color values, Madame. Nice that the weather is holding out for you.

Reuters: "The edge of the hurricane has finally got upon us" a tired Mayor Bloomberg said from Hurricane Headquarters in downtown Brooklyn.

Got upon us. Why it's positively biblical!

Hagar said...

I see that our wonderful president is going to give another speech proposing to stimulate the economy by "investing" in public works and infrastructure "because that is the fastest way to get money into the hands of the people."

How does he square that with his previous comments on national TV that the last "stimulus" showed him there is no such thing as a "shovel-ready project?"

Hagar said...

Agence France Presse or The Onion?

"US President Barack Obama warned the US east coast was in for a "long 72 hours" as he led his government's response to Hurricane Irene at a disaster command center in Washington. Obama on Saturday chaired a meeting at the National Response Coordination Center (NRCC) set up at the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) headquarters in Washington, which is marshaling federal and local hurricane-relief efforts. "This is going to be a tough slog getting through this thing," Obama said"

Lincolntf said...

Pathetic. Bloomberg, Obama and the rest of the idiots beclowned by the non-hurricane will do victory laps for a week. Pre-emptive surrender is NYC's new M.O. For bad weather.

May not mean much, but it is interesting:

New Census numbers show citizens fleeing by the millions from liberal states and flocking in comparable numbers to bastions of right-wing sentiment. Call it the Great Political Migration. . .

. . . if the epic Bush-Gore battle of 2000 played out on the new Electoral College map, with the two candidates carrying precisely the states they each won 11 years ago, the result would have been a far more clear-cut GOP victory margin of 33 electoral votes (instead of the five-vote nail-biter recorded in history books)

Hope all you east-coasters are safe. Please send some rain this way, pretty please.

This is impressive:

A lone Tomb Sentinel, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), walks his tour in humble reverence during Hurricane Irene in Arlington National Cemetery, Va., Aug 27. Members of The Old Guard have guarded the Tomb every second, of every day regardless of weather or holidays since April 6, 1948.

Godspeed.
