"If a woman’s hair is her crowning glory, Ms. Brooks’s is a particularly noteworthy diadem."

"It reminds me of nothing more than the coifs of the women beloved by so many pre-Raphaelite painters such as Rossetti, whose Helen of Troy is typical of the genre..."

I like her hair and wonder...but I will let Iron Rails finish that thought.

Too beautiful.

Right now I’m seduced by Marlene Dietrich. Killing me.

“Boys will be boys .. we cheat and we lie .. boys will be boys .. and J. K. Gayle asks, ‘will you [join Cady Stanton]’ .. ? .. and I say, ‘Goddamn Marlene Dietrich’” ...

The fluid sexuality ...

Too damn confusing. And grand.

The quote from scripture is that the woman is the glory of her husband.

Long hair is described as a covering for the woman to show observers that she respects the authority of her husband.

Just quoting another author here folks ... don't get mad at me.

I'm sure the Lefties are lusting to hang that magnificent scalp from their lodgepole the way Cicatriz did with Martin Pauly's mother.

Great hair for a woman 15 years her junior. I had a girl friend with hair like that -mid twenties- but... never mind.I will say however that there are some things you never forget.

A woman's hair is also designed to make dressing up take about 45 minutes longer for women...
assuming that the man has a man's hair cut...not Tom Brady's style of haircut.

So I have a cousin in Ohio. Social worker.

Feminist.

She calls me. Commands me to watch Maureen O'Hara in, “The Quiet Man.”

So I get to the part where John Wayne sees all that – RED – hair outside in that – green – field.

And Wayne looks hard. At that red hair. And says, “is that real?”

Looks pretty good to me. I’m into it.

At the end Wayne is dragging her ass across the green grass in anger.

I’m calling my cousin in Ohio. “You’re a feminist? What the hell is wrong with you? – John Wayne is dragging her ASS!”

She says – “watch the movie again. See who’s dragging who!”

Click.

When you have a rare thing (red hair like hers is only shared by a few million people on the planet, Liz Taylor violet eyes (by even less), ability to run like Usain Bolt, or think like a Jefferson) - you want to feature that gift.

Yes, Rebekah's hair is pretty.

And, "no" ... there's really no "hacking" scandal ... if you figure out what the Internet's done with You-tube. And, cell phone technology.

Ms. Brooks could use a red poodle right about now. Unconditional love and matchy-matchy.

My niece is a nurse and has a rock band with her boyfriend. She has two degrees and decided not to apply to medical school because she didn't want the loans. Take a look at her red hair. They have played all over the country (and the UK) although based in Chicago.

nominkRebekah Brooks's hairline has receded way to far for her to wear her hair like Helen of Troy.

Thank you for using the word "diadem", last heard in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

People say fabulous hair, but I doubt many would want a mop like Carrot Top's in real life.

Wrong, wrong, wrong!

Yummy. That hair makes for good fantasies. Just think about all that hair caressing your body. Or taking a big handful. Of course, I will not mention any thoughts pertaining to her and being in a women's prison.

@ Fred

My eyes! My eyes!

Is that real photo?

The problem with hair like that is that it's bad to cut it much shorter because it will poof out like a giant afro. The length gives it weight and prevents her from looking like a white sidekick in a blaxploitation film.

Carrot Top is in the first wave of the androids. Unfortunately, his flesh-casting failed and he didn't come off quite human.

Lamar63, Carrot Top is still kicking himself that he could not pull of that Aussie accent for Pricilla Queen of the Desert.

Lamar63, you want to be really grossed out? Think of your 7:23 fantasy and then open your eyes to 7:24.

I just grossed myself out.

The only thing worse than the Hideous Pedophilic Bald Eagle is a Hideous Pedophilic Bald Eagle that takes the place of what would have been a magnificent Firebush.

I thought of this very subject while watching her testify, and found myself thinking, "The woman must be mad." What in the world could she be thinking, to be so vain?

I'm getting used to the insanity around me, especially narcissism, but rarely do I see it on exhibit so,..

Will anyone give Rupert Murchoch credit for surrounding himself with independent, strong willed women? As trophy wives go, his current wife looks quite centered and resourceful. I wouldn't mess with either of those two ladies. Can some liberal admit that Murdoch, however goatish, is not a sexist?.... If Rebekah were a liberal who had used similar tactics in a liberal cause, Nicole Kidman would be bidding for the rights to her story......Herbert Bayard Swope was the the first winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Not conincidentally, he was the editor of the New York World, a paper founded by Joseph Pulitzer. The World in his day was the prestige liberal paper. Swope had a deal with Bernard Baruch. Swope would furnish Baruch with inside info from the paper's foreign and Washington offices. He would also give Baruch a good press, praising the wisdom and insight of the "park bench philosopher". In return, Baruch would manage Swope's investment portofolio. Swope finished with seventeen million dollars at a time when twenty five grand was considered princely pay.....I just throw this out to demonstrate how elastic ethics are when they are used by liberals in liberal causes.
