You need more lawn ornaments. Like gnomes and frogs in tophats and flamingos with windmill-wings, things like that. Not to question Meade's taste in landscaping but plants are a little pedestrian nowadays.
"Boy, the way Glen Miller played. Songs that made the Hit Parade. Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days! Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight Gee, our old LaSalle (a car) ran great. Those were the days! And you knew where you were then! Girls were girls and men were men. Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent. Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days! Take a little Sunday spin, go to watch the Dodgers win. Have yourself a dandy day that cost you under a fin (five dollar bill). Hair was short and skirts were long. Kate Smith really sold a song. I don't know just what went wrong! Those Were the Days!"
So, like a cornflake farmer I contacted HLN (CNN) and asked: "What is a Tot-Mom?" That's all I said, nothing more. They replied:
Hi! Thank you for your research request. Casey Anthony, the woman on trial in Florida for the death of her daughter Caylee in 2008, is being referred to as a "Tot Mom," which is short for "toddler mom," because she was the mother of a toddler. You can read more about the Casey Anthony trial here: [...] I hope this answers your question! Sincerely, CNN
I believe this means that all mothers of toddlers are active and/or potential killers. So if you know any tot-moms, beware.
Haven't seen the video yet to show which quote is accurate, but the second one is grammatically correct, though it sounds strange since the subjunctive mood is often screwed up, even by those with the most impeccable of academic credentials.
It's a minor thing, but I don't recall quotes from President Bush or Sarah Palin being scrubbed in this manner.
Just noticed video of the quoted video is already available, President Obama definitely needs a refresher course in the proper application of the subjunctive mood.
"In grammar, the subjunctive mood (abbreviated sjv or sbjv) is a verb mood typically used in subordinate clauses to express various states of irreality such as wish, emotion, possibility, judgment, opinion, necessity, or action that has not yet occurred."
From a presidency built upon irreality, wish, and emotion, you'd think this is one thing he'd get right.
By the way, the ongoing Obama vacation/ globetrotting continues. Did y'all know he's dropping by Puerto Rico for a few hours today? (I've got family there.) Has this been in the US MSM at all? It's a big fukking deal on the island, of course-- it's been in the news for over a month.
Its a weird & notable & calculated & pointless visit for various reasons (which I won't go into). But I'll just note a coincidence that bemuses me. In PR much is made of the fact that Obama's the first president to visit since Kennedy. Can't help but think of Obama's celebrated/ infamous Berlin speech-- it's like, in campaign mode, O can't help but seek out occasions for those oh-so-historical Kennedy comparisons, even when what he is accomplishing, substantively, is pretty much nothing, other than to bask in his own glorification.
Hey, it's not like he has anything better to do, right? Still, I can't begrudge the significance of the visit to Puerto Ricans (es mi isla, es mi gente), given PR's uniquely strange, ambiguous, ambivalent, Platypus-like political status. If O says anything interesting or "unprecedented" re Puerto Rico (like his brilliant take re Israel & the '67 borders), I'll let y'all know.
Wow, Peter. That is a mix between very frightening and very cool. For a while, it looked just like the lion was playing with the kid. Kind of like a cat, playing with its food before eating it...
Amazing colors. This reminded me of Georgia O'Keefe's work, so I looked up images of O'Keefe. Turns out O'Keefe was a good looking, well built woman when she was younger and Steiglitz took nude pictures of her.
With Steiglitz taking the snaps, their family albums must be awesome.

Obama vs. Archie Bunker
Coketown: Winner! LMAO!
Heavenly Blue, not so? Remember when we chewed the seeds to get high? Those were the days when only bad guys smoked dope.
If you liked boy with otter, check out toddler and lion.
The kid doesn't seem at all frightened. Only gets upset when mom scoops him up early on.
The wide-open mouth at the 51 second mark -- the stuff of nightmares.

Where's Hoover when you need him?

Obama on the Today show, tomorrow, as quoted by NBC's webpage:
"I can tell you that if it was me, I would resign,"
Same quote as quoted by TMZ:
"I can tell you that if it were me, I'd resign"

It looks like a wide open pussy.
Inviting, hard, plump, ready to be fucked.
Pussy.

P.S. Hillary Clinton won the Dem primary in Puerto Rico over Obama. Overwhelmingly.
The current governor of Puerto Rico is an avowed Republican.
OK, I'll ask.
Is that real?

I know I've done it myself, but why do people say to really cute babies "I could just eat you up"?

The most disturbing Weiner wiener DM was released today. Does the depravity of this man know no bounds?
XWL, the correct phrase would be, "If it were I," but hardly anyone talks that way. William F. Buckley probably would have.
Toy
I meant to get up at 5 today and come into work early. I rolled back over and slept 'til 6:30.
God Bless a cool summer morning.
Probably your best photo yet.
