To what? The red berries everywhere are part of winter's beauty. A great old time Christmas wreath was an evergreen wreath with red, orange and yellow fruits attached by wires.
Well, today is a great day. Rahm is going to be OK to run for Mayor in Chicago. We will have a foundation for another great future POTUS in him, years from now. May be he will be key person in 2016 election (as a VP, perhaps). In the meantime, Obama-Biden (II) will bury the GOP.
Why will this happen? The GOP has no vision to run for Chicago. No vision to run for WH. What is the GOP good for, anyway? Who needs them? No one.
We just like the way things are in the WH and in the heartland (Chicago).
We're getting socked by that front rolling across the Great Lakes, so holding tight is about all that can be done.
The good news - The Blonde finally has a job, granted, part time, but at least something has finally worked out for her. With luck, something a bit more substantial around the corner.
As a snow lover I was totally depressed with yesterday's warm temperatures and rain and totally jealous of all the people in the Midwest. Fortunately, we now have some snow on the ground, probably not even an inch, but anything's welcome.
A few months ago when we had all the foaming over plan to build a Muslim community center in a former Burlington Coat Factory, I pointed out that the hysteria was timed to inflame the Republican base before the election.
Now that the election has come and gone, have you noticed there is no longer any hullabaloo from the Islamophobes?

Looks like dessert for some friendly neighborhood cedar waxwings!
For a minute there I thought you were going to link to Red Dot Potato Chips a regional favorite until they were "swallowed" by Free-to-Lay.

I continue to study. We do what we can.
Hi, Kids.

Peter
Peter, maybe the cold weather will encourage some women to stop shaving.
Red Dot? I don't see any indians all up in this piece.

Chirp, chirp.
The GOP has played the rubes yet again.

Haven't heard of these "Islamophobes" to begin with.
But I'd like to hear you explain this "irrational fear of Islam" to Ayaan Hirsi Ali...
