Meade's favorite thorax, no doubt. Nice ensemble, particularly the pin.

NSFW!!!!

traditionalguy said...

does this theme includes a breast blogging section? If so, then use a slow and gentle touch...as gentle as a TSA guys feather light pats trying to tell nipples from detonators.

The Crack Emcee said...

Jesus, Lady, warn us before you do that!

You can put an eye out with that thing.

traditionalguy said...

Speaking of the thorax, how many are cooking turkey breasts in a slow cooker this year rather than the whole bird in the oven. God forbid any one is going to use a Turkey Fryer in hot oil out on the back porch...those things are extremely dangerous.

Obama doesn't want us burning his Koran.. but hes willing to burn us with rage and radiation.

Lem Vibe Bandit said...

You've heard of road rage and air rage.. welcome to TSA rage.

jungatheart said...

Lem ftw.

Exposure of the interior?

chickelit said...

Anybody remember hertz donuts?

jungatheart said...

If that's you, Althouse, I think you need a new tag.

jungatheart said...

My sister and her husband are making the bird. They did a delicious job last year.

PZ said...

I'm glad I'm not the only man whose reaction was "BREAST"!!

pdug said...

one could say, "lets take a closer look at that thorax", but I don't think it's possible.

traditionalguy said...

That is definitely an over-sized, over glamorous monument to Madisonians appetites...Wait, wait, this is the wrong thread.

Exposure of the interior?

And here we though we had retired the dirty old man in trench coats ;)

"General Motors Co. is on pace to sell $18.1 billion in shares in what likely will be the second-largest U.S. initial public offering ever, capping a remarkable two-year turnaround in which the car maker went from begging for a government bailout to posting its first steady profits in more than six years."

Huh! Wonder how that happened.

bagoh20 said...

Nice, but my boobs are bigger.

ricpic said...

That picture needs a video version so we can see...uh, see the pin as it rises and falls.

Once the death panels are set up, this kind of prolonged agonizing, death after a hopeless, wasteful series of resuscitations will be prevented.

No, no - you've got it right - but I think the whole country's in on it, though.

A theme? How titillating.

Lovely, simply lovely.

The pin, too.

So easy a mannequin could do it?

The lesson here is that Althouse does not wear her heart on her sleeve.. or something.

I don't wish to see your breast as I check back here periodically. But that is the loveliest shade of blue I think I have ever seen! <3

My sister and her husband are making the bird.

Never heard it called that before...

The Crack Emcee said...

Ahem:

Read it and weep, children, read it and KNOW.

Fred Drinkwater said...

I approve of Jaed's novel euphemism.
Also, Peano, shame on you. (But I did look twice. Or thrice. Sue me, I'm genetically male.

WV: ovensi - Yes, I'm one of those who still uses an oven for the bird (or would, if I did birds anymore - these days more likely to be lamb shanks.)

Fred Drinkwater said...

Crack (& Newsweek): Wait, whut? Isn't Shiva the Destroyer of Worlds?
What exactly is being said there?

WV promes - Hell's bells. Too easy, given that Newsweek pic. Must be my day for WV karma.

It took me a few seconds to recognize what the pin was pinned on, at which point I though, "Whoa, Ann, I hardly even know you." Then I wondered if it was some sort of meta-comment on the current TSA imbroglio. Then I decided I was looking too long at the photo.

Just...just don't offer Meade equal time.

BJM said...

@garage

Huh! Wonder how that happened.

Um...I dunno...maybe by stealing the stakeholders investment, stiffing creditors, suppliers and dealers, shuffling tax payer money from one pocket to another and pretending they've paid back some of the bailout, and paying off the UAW with our tax money (can you say quid pro quo?...I thought you could).

I'd put off the happy dance...it ain't over by a long shot. The IPO bid price will plummet after the initial buzz then we'll see how the share price fares after they file their first 10Q.

First....you get a turkey egg. Then....

We are having a ham for Thanksgiving.

Being a woman, I was interested in the jewelry and didn't even dawn on me what the background was until you "guys" pointed it out. LOL

traditionalguy said...

DBQ...What broach? Guys always react to curves. We are Hard wired that way.

KCFleming said...

The Maidenform woman; you never know where she'll turn up.

Yes let's hope and pray that it all falls apart.

Charlie said...

Nice rack!

Geoff Matthews said...

What is "parts of a woman's body"?

KCFleming said...

Garage, you freak me out man.
Seriously.

It's like seeing the Venus de Milo and talking about the museum's gate receipts.

Penny said...

You say "thorax", and I'm thinking bugs...which I'm trying to block from my mind since we're in a cafe'.

Peano said...

Background? You mean there was a foreground?

BJM said...

Lovely.

Inquiring minds want to know, is the shape of the pin or the images significant in the Meadehouse narrative?

The Thorax
by Dr. Suess

Yes, I am the Thorax
who speaks for the Double-Ds,
which you seem to be groping
as fast as you please.

But I'm also in charge of
forbidden groin fruits,
which get fondled right through
my business suits
by blue-gloved morons,
those TSA brutes.

Now, thanks to your treating me
just like a whore,
there's no way I'm going to
fly any more!

I knew it was on someone's breasts, but I've seen those before, ones like them. However the silver work was new. It looks celtic.

Ha ha funny Pogo!

Hey. The only thing you see is some fabric and a broach. Althouse is sneaky...you never know.

Oh Lydia, oh Lydia, say, have you met Lydia?
Lydia The Tattooed Lady.
She has eyes that folks adore so,
and a torso even more so.
Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclo-pidia.
Oh Lydia The Queen of Tattoo.
On her back is The Battle of Waterloo.
Beside it, The Wreck of the Hesperus too.
And proudly above waves the red, white, and blue.
You can learn a lot from Lydia!
