Blogger has a new feature that identifies comments that it thinks may be spam. This feature is very useful to me, since it saves me from constantly having to comb the threads looking for those robotic posts that link to commercial websites selling shoes or whatever. But it's also snagging a lot of real-person comments. So I now realize that I need to review the spam page more often to get your comments up, and I think doing that will train the machine to detect spam more accurately.
I'm sorry anyone had the impression that I was deleting things for no good reason. As for the comments that Blogger flagged as spam, I can't see what looked off about them. Anyway, thanks for your comments, keep commenting, and trust me that I to have a longstanding strong free speech policy and a newfound dedication to reviewing what the spam filter caught.

Blogger sucks. I've learned to copy what I post. Never know when Blogger decides to eat it. Sometimes I'll have to repost 3 or 4 times before it will accept my password. Other times, I can't comment at all, until I get off the internet, and sign out from my Google account.
Does anyone want to buy some trinkets? Like some colorful beads and stuff?
Blogger is working really well for me. I just needed to understand how to interact with this tremendously useful new feature.

It's called Stockholm Syndrome.
That explains why my comments with links weren't showing up. And, now the same one is in there 4 times because I kept trying.
A few of my comments went poof a while back but I figured it was just a bug. It didn't seem to be very consistent but it did happen a few times over several weeks. It was a while back though so it might not have been related to what you're dealing with now. No big deal anyway, just a comment on a blog.
It's the learning curve and we all have to deal with it when it comes to software.
As a great military equestrian (one of Troop's old comrades-in-arms, IIRC) once observed, "Never apologize, it's a sign of weakness".
Some of it is the commenter's internet service and e-mail address. Sometimes the IP address falls into a range that someone previously complained was spam.
Sometimes it's because Blogger is controlled by the United Nations and the Tri-Lateral Commission and the commenter failed to wear the proper tinfoil hat.
My penis has grown two inches since I began posting here. Not only that I have lost inches off my waistline without counting calories. This is a wonderful site to meet new people and buy sneakers at a substantial discount.
The spam filter needs further tuning.
What you don't realize is what it looks like from my side, Palladian. Just now, the spam filter caught 200 posts in 200 threads by a spammer. Before this new feature, I would have spent an hour meticulously going to each page and deleting. I was able to deal with it in a couple minutes.
I just assumed you were tweaking our nipples.
