"To see resistance from a woman means a lot."
"People are fed up with these religious police, and now they have to pay the price for the humiliation they put people through for years and years. This is just the beginning and there will be more resistance."

Sweet!
Next thing you know they'll want to be able to vote.
What's the world coming to?
This is an earth shaking change in vision for Islam's captives. Once they see women as human beings instead of genetic defects destined to serve real humans for life, then they will also discover what the rest of freedom from Legalistic Religion can mean. I used to tell my Coptic Egyptian friend that, but he would doubt my sanity. It seems that every one in the middle east is partially infected with the belief that freedom for women will destroy the world. It took a country founded upon a Christian community of Bible reading, literate Protestants to discover rules of fair treatment of all babies in Christ, whether male or female. This had become well hidden under male priesthood dominated religions. This is earth shaking news. FYI: the first political entity on earth to by law make both single and married women were 100% equally capable of private property ownership ( no guardians required) as men was the State of Georgia in the year 1815.
If you have never been in the kingdom, you have no idea what an ignorant and sorry bunch of bastards the mutawah are--informally stickmen because they carry sticks to beat muslims who do not go to prayer of women whom they believe are unchaste.
The kingdom is a cesspool, and the quicker these rag headed bastards disappear, the better off the world will be.
"For unknown reasons, the young man collapsed upon being questioned by the cop."
Wonder if her outrage was fueled by this?
Looks like she went all Religion-of-Peace on his sorry ass.
Good for her!
Let's hope she keeps her head about her in the coming months.
Good for her!
Gmay--iirc,the saudi's dont behead women--they stone them to death
The kingdom is a cesspool, but unfortunately if the Saudi family were gone, I doubt it would suddently turn into Dubai (and even Dubai sucks).
"Gmay--iirc,the saudi's dont behead women--they stone them to death."
I think you're right. Thanks for the correction.
It's tough to keep up with the latest barbaric acts in the Caliphate these days.
"Saudi woman beats up virtue cop".
Consider the possibilities.

I'll just bet. Wife-beating is undoubtedly still a popular participant sport there, so this is like the Minutemen taking on the Redcoats.
It would be interesting to see what would happen if they tried that stuff on American women. We've got a lot of gutless, dhimmi, Leftist castrati bowing and scraping for the crazies, but you don't see many women doing it outside of Oprah - and she inflicted The Zero on us.
Mark Twain mentions in "Roughing It" the discussion by the passengers of what might happen to the women if the stagecoach was held up. Our narrator then notes that, in the past, the women were often the more formidable passengers.
That's one small right hook for a woman, one giant roundhouse punch for womankind!
Stoning is punishment for adultery. Women's executions are usually performed with a shot to the back of the head - "to preserve modesty" in case their head rolled out of the abbaya covering them. (seriously - this was taken from a "interview with the executioner" in one of the local papers a few years ago). Men get the chop, women rarely (unless they do something really bad).
Oh, it is a different world in the Magic Kingdom, as one who lived there a LONG time can attest.
And the man probably was not married to her and had a panic attack. "Khulwa" - or being with someone you are not close related to or married with is quite illegal.
Gmay--iirc,the saudi's dont behead women--they stone them to death.
Are there no prisons!? Are there no workhouses? Excuse me King Abdullah, Mr. Marley here would like a word with you! Don't mind the groans it's just gas!
In the USA many states still seem to hold onto legal restrictions on the freedom of ownership of property (the basic human right from which other life freedoms flow) of "married woman". It is a puzzel to see deeds from other states that require the recital that So and So is a single or is a married woman. What for? Why is that anybody's business?
Ann,
I do TKD and Krav Maga, done it for many years. Well last night I watched a newer club, a MMA kickboxing club ran by a guy of some repute in MMA circles, and there was this woman. Tall, slim, fit, and he ran her into the ground with exercises. I mean into the ground. Excellent workout.
But, while I'm decently fit, she would have done a 'Saving Silverman' to anyone who messed with her!
Thing is, I've always found it odd those who want to put women in 'their place' tend to not really know theirs. It must be an inferiority complex with them. For I was pleased she could handle herself and felt not at all threatened.
So it’s good to hear in Saudi Arabia some woman cleaned that guys clock. He deserved it.
