I could swear I saw my mom in one of your Tea Party videos.

Is that Meade in the 2nd photo? (in the middle).

I'd vote for the Chicken Suit Lady for Governor...

garage, I thought the same thing when I saw that photo. Then I remembered - couldn't be -- my bird costume is still at the dry cleaners!

Garage, don't make fun of that picture of Meadehouse. It's hard to get someone to take a picture with the fish-eye lens.

Nice feathers.

Neighborhood tea party involving only a dog and a UPS driver delivering to two houses with one stop.

Damn - has Obama lost the old hippie vote?

Mont Mont, if you look real close, RH's dog is holding a racist sign too.

Really? That rather innocuous (yet kind of funny) jibe makes that poor woman an "a-hole"? Your a-hole bar seems to be set far lower than that of the vast majority of people.

Did any tea partiers bare their tits? That would be hot

Except the bearded guy with the you lie tshirt. I don't want to see his tits.

This tea party gig is a full time job.

I hope everyone is able to enjoy time to smell the flowers, enjoy a nice meal, find their third eye and establish their essence from within.

It would of been hot if the chicken suit lady had an opening by where her cooch was and she dyed her beave the same color as the chicken suit. That would of been really interesting.

Did the chicken suit lady smell like chicken or fish?

All these pics of old white tea partiers is getting me kind of horny in an unusual way.

The one with MLK and Obama is odd. It's framed, for some reason. If you're going to go to the trouble of framing it, couldn't you do better than crappy black and white printouts? The cigarette in Obama's mouth has been photoshopped. And unless you find imagery of smoking black men inherently scary, there's nothing particularly sinister about that photo, so the "I Have a Scheme" caption is incongruous.

How so?

(It seems to me the message is that Barack Obama doesn't compare well with MLK. A subtle of praise of one black man and a critique of another is racist?)

Like I said, IT'S NOT RACIST. It's just something a real jerkoff would put on a sign.

So ordinary, decent Americans are a-holes to you, Mundane?

It must suck to be you. Big time.

LouisAntoine said...

Oh, I'd say plenty of ordinary, decent americans are a-holes. Seems like a good bet-- after all, there are a-holes everywhere. Just seems like the Tea Party attracts more than its fair share.

Remove that trout from your pants this instant, Titus!

I bet there are very few people under the age of 30 who know that song "God Bless America". They stopped singing these types of patriotic songs in schools long ago when patriotism and God were wiped from our culture.

We used to say the Pledge of Allegiance and sing these songs in elementry school. Back when we were proud to be Americans and not taught to be ashamed of or to hate our country as is the case now in schools.

America The Beautiful

My Country Tis of Thee Wow.

Battle Hymn of the Republic adopted by the North during the Civil War.
And just in case you think only pasty white people sing this.... here the fabulous Odetta
And of course this one

There is something truly inspirational about singing in a choir no matter what the songs.

The Bunny - "They stopped singing these types of patriotic songs in schools long ago when patriotism and God were wiped from our culture."

What would you possibly base such a ridiculous statement on?

Americans aren't patriotic?

Americans don't believe in God?

Who the fuck are you hanging around with?

I really think many of the local wing nuts who post here are either over medicated or just plain drunk.

Anybody who thinks the tea bagger crowd represent "ordinary, decent Americans" is just another tea bagger.

Most of these idiots don't even know what the original Tea Party was based on (unless they actually believe they're being taxed, but have no elected representation where they live), don't know that they pay less taxes now than they did before President Obama was elected and have absolutely no idea what socialism even means.

But you can bet your ass they'll accept Medicare and Medicaid and any other government assistance when they need it.

I had a feeling garage, Montagne, and Alpha would have a problem with this, but I didn't think they'd be dumbstruck.

That's what people have been saying the difference between Martin Luther King and Jesse Jackson was for 40 years.

Like the man said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but even the ones who always cry, 'Racist', are going to be exposed eventually and then they'll fall back on something else".

Because of the makeup of the teacher union and the marching orders they get from the Columbia University School of Education - you know, the one that includes William Ayers among its distinguished alumni.

Also, it's not PC to be patriotic. And The Zero goes all wee-wee when he thinks about it.

Those who lend their most invaluable critique and insight to the TEA party movement generally do so motivated by fear. But hey, a post is a post, even if it does scream "I'm terrified and I can't stop shouting."
