"Princess Masako has rarely been seen in public for several years as a consequence of a nervous condition attributed to the stress of life in the royal household."
So this family asks the school for permission to publish reports of her additional stress in school? That makes no sense.
It makes even less sense when you read that she became distressed when a young boy ran out of the classroom, apparently reminding her of some "other" time she was treated harshly.
She really has it rough living out her life. Unlike the three generations of descendants from millions of Chinese and American Marines who are missing out on their lives because of the racist will to power over them land by her granddaddy, that divine sun god Hirohito.

You mean American soldiers, sailors, coastguardsmen, and Marines.
Also, about a million Filipinos, the Kachins in Burma, Koreans (particularly those women forced to serve as 'comfort girls'), and numerous Pacific Islanders, particularly those in what were The Dutch East Indies.
A college friend of mine in the 1960s had been repatriated to Japan from Manchuko in the late 1940s; at about age 12. We talked somewhat about WWII and his strong opinion was that Hirohito should have committed seppiku over losing the war. Hirohito killing himself might have done in the Emperor system altogether; not a bad thing.
Geoff Matthews... Being held accountable to the third and fourth generatons of descendants of sun gods that believe in their own divine right to exterminate others goes along with the girl's inheritence of luxury and power. I have uncles on both sides of my family lines that died at the hands of the Rising Sun ( aka, Hirohito and his partner Tojo). And don't believe for one minute that this Japanese girl will ever see your gaijin ass as her equal.

Who will commit seppiku over this? Hey, maybe a new Kabuki will emerge about this story. It does have comedy and tragedy all wrapped up into one.
Bastards.
Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Well, I do have to ask, but were tentacles involved?

Lèse majesté!!
Send in the Ninja's and put the boy(s) head(s) upon a pike or pikes.
Here in NJ we would begin testing immediately to see if she was on the "autism spectrum".
They've come far from Princess Mononoke.
Princess Mononoke Theme sung by counter tenor Yoshikazu Mera.
I'm tired of it now but it was great for a month or so.

Oh the burden of being a monarchical deity.
Hirohito and his claque were merely "misunderstood."
I belive it is fair to say that they were merely fighting for their own unique societal vision in the face of Western Imperialism and Racism.
She is too young to use Chloe Sevigny means of intimidation.
Not exactly the Rape of Nanking, me thinks.

Princess Masako is the wife of the Crown Prince, and mother of Princess Aiko. They're both evidently under stress, just different stress.

Do we need to hold an 8-year-old girl accountable for what was done 60+ years ago?
She's having a rough time at school. The only reason we're hearing of it is that she's royalty.
Now, when she's 18 and still unable to cope? Feel free to zing her.
