She looks like a real female to me. That means her natural beauty only needs a strong man to draw her out and enjoy a beautiful life together with her. Maybe this spring she will find a good man. If not, then she needs champagne and laughter therapy until she does.
Pairing up the actress shots with the runway shots is really interesting. Nice work. Makes you wonder if the catwalk is actually intended to destroy beauty.
Every time I have seen her in a movie, the first thing that has come into my mind is how Germanic she looks.
Re: whether she's 80 yrs out of date, her eyes seem a bit small for that. My image of all those 20s and 30s actresses is of big, expressive eyes, hooded, open, whatever -- Dunst's eyes are kind of small and squinty here. And her eyebrows are flat and pointy, rather than arched in the old style, but I think that's just the styling here.
I never knew such seemingly universally inane "Fashion Features" could vary in quality like that. The one of Biel and Garner looks like a Junior High yearbook project gone horribly wrong. The Dunst one is instantly interesting and of implicit high quality.
As with Scarlett Johanssen and Natalie Portman, we remember how the adolescent looked. They look quite different now that they're hitting their late 20s. I would say that Portman is beautiful while the other two are merely striking.
If Kirsten Dunst is an icon for a generation, yet I've got my own tag and she doesn't, I figure that makes me either an Idol for the Ages or the Cynosure of All Existence.

I sat through Marie Antoinette just to see her get decapitated (what could be more fun?) and it was completely left out. Boy, was I pissed.

The legs on the models there are...scary. So unattractive.
The young Gloria Swanson, at the time, was pretty much the standard. In the 60s and 70s, Bernadette Peters was more of a 20s-ish looker.
Ms. Dunst isn't all that pretty, no eyesore, but no beauty, either.
As far as I'm concerned there's only one style of feminine beauty that matters ... okay, feminine grooming, to be more specific.
Peter
she has dead eyes.
She seems to have a very square head. That is IIRC a stereotype of Norwegians. Is she of Norse ancestry?
TW: clerbial. Is she the clerbial "squarehead?"

It's just her makeup job. Kirsten Dunst is pretty and a fairly decent actress. I like her.
So happy natural fresh faced looks are popular, rather than that overly made up look of the early starlets.
She has flat tooth syndrome.
